Possibly not a long term solution?
Im 29 years old and I have suffered from acne since I can remember. I must also add that I have issues with skin picking, thus making it that much harder to clear my skin. Its always a constant battle of trying to clear my face but being unable to stop picking. I have tried MANY different washes, creams etc and nothing has helped. The other night I decided to try HP and I was very surprised at how much it healed my skin in just ONE night- shrinking current acne and lightening old scars. I only apply to the troubled areas and stay clear of eyebrows/hair as it will bleach it. Also HP can be used for many others things... mouth wash, teeth whitener(sparingly) etc. Its cheap, easy to find (probably have some in your bathroom right now) and easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone suffering from acne!

I've read about the negative effects of un-stabilized HP. However, I bought a stabilized HP bottle from Walgreen's, 32oz for 2 bucks. Every Walgreen's I've visited carries this product. It's a brown bottle, and it says "3% Hydrogen Peroxide Topical Solution". On the label, it says that it's stabilized, so it's okay for skin use. Seriously, you need to go out and buy this. I haven't had one pimple in the past month and a half that I've been using it. I tried zinc, no milk, no wheat, etc. Nothing worked. Now, with HP, I drink milk, eat wheat, and I can drink alcohol with no more worries. I apply benzoyl peroxide afterwards and leave it on all night, then I use Vitamin E Oil (100% pure) in the morning as a moisturizer.
I love this stuff!

can sting a little on any open/broken skin but it also seems to slightly cauterize at the same time and therefore speed up healing.
this is amazing stuff. I have had bad cystic acne under the jaw line and neck and simply dabbed a cotton swab with 3% hydrogen peroxide onto the worst acne before bedtime and it has virtually cleared up. By the way, HP is great for so many household uses and even indoor plants (follow strict guidelines/dosage however). I bought food-grade hydrogen peroxide so it is the most purest form and free of contaminents. It costs more than the typical off-the-shelf stuff but it's much better quality. HP is basically water with an extra oxygen element....that's it ! No wonder it's not promoted widely as the drugs companies have all of their 'specialist' products to peddle to consumers. p.s. 1.5% strength is great for gargling for sore throats and fighting off colds etc.

Pros:
1) Cleans pores nicely
2) Gets rid of zits
3) Easy to apply
4) Available almost anywhere
5) Evens skin tone
Cons:
1) Hydrogen Peroxide will cause scarring, so don't apply to your skin if you have a LOT of acne.
2) Stings for a few seconds but goes away.
3) Stops working after a few weeks.
4) Bleaches hair
It's dirt cheap, works really good at first. However I only recommend this to blonde people because this will bleach your hair. I have black hair and it bleached my top tiny hairs into an orange color.

Pros:
It works great and makes my skin feel refreshed and clean. I use it every nite as a toner and then use a night moisurizer.
Cons:
May dry a little but thats why u use a moisturizer
I have tried other creams as well and nothing has worked like hyrdogen peroxide and is very affordable.

Pros:
Works fantastic. I tried many different methods from pharmaceuticals to very holistic and alternative methods and nothing worked as well as HP. It may be a tad drying for some but just decrease its frequency. HP is the answer to clear skin.
Cons:
None.
Works great. For clear skin HP is really the way to go. I am happy I learned about many alternative and healthy lifestyles in my battle with acne but HP has been the most successful and easiest process of all. I can't rave enough.

Hydrogen Peroxide
Very harsh chemical. Wouldn't recommend it for sensitive skin. I tried it and it made my scarring worse.

Pros:
Extremely Affordable! Works better than any over the counter medicine with immediate results!
Cons:
None so far as any other Acne Medication in that it can cause some dryness which can be fixed with an oil free moisturizer
Take a cotton pad and lightly saturate it with the HP...and dab..not rub it on the areas that you break out. Wait 5 miniutes and then apply moisturizer. Use morning and night and in 3 days..your acne and the acne burnout spots begin to fade out.
Nothing I have tried from the Dermatologist had worked this well!

- Leaves my skin smooth and acne-free!
- Inexpensive!
Cons:
- Dries the skin a bit, but no big deal!
- Stings a litte, but it only lasts 5 seconds!
I've had a huge breakout on my chin and it has helped me a lot. I just started using hydrogen peroxide and it has changed my life! I feel more confident with my skin. I usually get breakouts, even though I use clean&clear cleansers, I still get a pimple here and there. This is my solution to clear skin! Hopefully this keeps my skin clear & beautiful. I started using this , about 3 days ago & I can already say my skin is looking better than ever! I suggest anyone that has a breakout, even if it's a little tiny pimple. Treat it with this & it'll be gone the next day! Thumbs up for CLEAR SKIN <3
