Pros:

Gentle
Non-stripping
Effective
Non-Irritating

Cons:

Can barely sting.
Weird gel consistency
Takes a lot of rinsing?
A little expensive.

I tried DKR cleanser, felt it was a bit stripping. I tried Cetaphil, same thing. this stuff doesn't give me the really tight, strippy feeling I get with other cleansers. I like it a lot. <3

It feels like conditioner on your face.
I bought this cleanser only because every store in my area were out of the Cerave foaming cleanser. That is my go to cleanser. I figured the products couldn't be that much different. I was wrong, first of all this comes out of the bottle looking and smelling just like conditioner. Applying it to my face felt very gross, due to the conditioner feel. It also left a sort of film feeling over my skin. It does no foaming at all, so it took 2 to 3 pumps to remove my makeup and it wouldn't remove eye makeup at all. So I needed to use a different product for that entirely. Personally I would rather use CeraVe foaming wash or Purpose facial cleanser, and use a moisturizer separately.

Pros:

Works!
No Fragrance, Non-Comedogenic

Cons:

Expensive- Around $16 at CVS
Packaging- cannot travel with it

Let me first say that i have very sensitive acne prone skin. This face wash is absolutely amazing for my skin. It does not leave a dry tight feeling that Cetaphil cleanser does. I have not had any breakouts since using (crossing fingers that I won't in the future) I religiously used to use the hydrating cleanser and i feel that this wash removes makeup more effectively and does a thorough cleaning of dirt and sweat. Will continue to be a faithful customer to this brand of skin products.

Pros:

Gentle, no fragrance, leaves skin very soft, evens skin

Cons:

None so far

I had never heard of this product until I went to the dermatologist. I have used so many different cleansers and this is the BEST. I have very acne prone skin. Along with CeraVe, I take Solodyn and use Vanoxide HC in the morning and Ziana Gel at night. WOW ... what a powerful and effective team to battle acne ... my skin is almost clear after 4 weeks!

Meh...
I have had great luck with the Renewing Cleanser. This cleanser, on the other hand, does not agree with my oily skin. Major breakouts even after using for a few weeks. Highly recommend the Renewing Cleanser though. I suppose it's the SA that makes the difference.

Pros:

-moisturizes skin without drying

Cons:

-on the pricey side

I've tried many cleansers in my battles with acne. I believe I tried this cleanser after finding DK's cleanser dried my skin a bit too much. This product is interesting in that it has the consistency and appearance of a lotion which I've never seen before in a cleanser. I follow DK's regimen with 2 product substitutions and it seems to work well right now. I use this cleanser, DK's BP, and Cerave's PM lotion in the morning and evening. (The AM lotion with SPF didn't seem to sit well with my skin.)

Pros:

great for the BODY ACNE! SUPER GENTLE...

Cons:

expensive, and not enough to use on body for long term

I wana start off by saying, I don't usually write reviews on here because a lot of what i'v tried on here that has good reviews has never worked well for me. So my review should strictly be considered my own personal condition and it doesn't/shouldn't exactly apply to everyone. Anyways, I'm super excited about this product... At first i bought it for my face to see if it would help with oiliness, (i read somewhere it did)... it didn't really help that much, so then i just stuck the bottle in a cabinet below my sink. It sat there for probably 4 months, and then a few days ago i saw it in there, and had the crazy idea to try it on my body to see how it worked for the acne that has caused me so much suffering (on my chest and back) ... the first time i tried it, i noticed when i got out of the shower, my acne was less irritated, and my body looked clear despite the little red spots (which is the acne i currently have on my body) Usually when i got out of the shower, my skin is somewhat red, and the old, new, and forming acne marks were all visible. It's a little hard to explain the difference, but its been my 2nd day of use and its working just fine. I mean it hasn't been long enough to say if this is for sure the cure for my acne, because it's not exactly getting rid of the ones i currently have, but I am noticing a dramatic improvement in complexion as far as my back and chest skin goes. maybe i have rosacea on my body? I really don't know what it is, but i'm not using anything else on my body after i wash with cerave... and it appear to be clearer than it ever has in the past 7 years or so since my body acne started... so its definitely cerave... I use at like like 5-7 pumps for my entire upper body. So its going to run out fast, and that's only if i see it continues to work...

Pros:

Great for sensitive skin.
Removes most makeup.

Cons:

It takes a lot of the product to cover my face.
You have to put in some extra muscle to get your makeup off. Kinda pricey.

This cleanser is magic for sensitive skin! It's very gentle and I just got it two days ago and my face feels a lot cleaner and the redness in my face looks like it's clam down =]!

This product worked really well for me. The night I tried it I saw a difference the next morning. I used to be really broken out and had a lot of zits on my forehead. But after two weeks it was all gone. (for the most part.) Great Product!!!!
