Cons:
a little messy
sort of expensive for the raw organic honey
I've been using raw organic honey as a mask 3 times per week for about six months now. I started using it after reading this article here...[link removed] This article has a lot of good information on why and how to use honey to treat acne. It has worked wonders on my acne-prone skin. I used to get breakouts all the time, but I feel like since I've started using the honey my acne is under control. My skin is not 100% cleared but there is definitely a huge improvement since using the honey mask. It helps reduce redness, which is a big benefit for me. It's also nice to use a natural facial a few times a week rather than some store bought facial mask that has a ton of different ingredients in it.

Pros:
It makes your skin glow.
Cons:
It is stickly but it's good
you really need something to work quickly and efficently then try putting honey on your face and leave for about 30-45 mins. You'll be amazed to see what it does for you.

Pros:
Smells awesome
moisture!
cheap and leaves skin feeling smooth soft, makes bad acne shrink much quicker than anything else i've used so far
Cons:
messy and a little time consuming
I usually start by washing my face with a goat milk based soap, cuz it helps with scars and it's nice to my skin, then i exfoliate with something like St. Ive's peach face wash, that takes away any dead skin from past acne scars and helps them fade fast too. Then I boil some water, sit with a towel over my head in the steam for a bit to open my pores nice and big and then I spread a tablespoon of honey, olive oil (extra virgin) and an egg yoke on my face and leave it... usually as long as I can (im short on time usually)
Doesn't take much longer than half an hour I don't think, to do all this carefully the first time. But it helps a lot and smells awesome.

Pros:
SOO smooth and is making my skin less irritated, shrinkin my pimples and smells gooood.
Cons:
obviously sticky and runny, I wouldn't recomend heating it first, leaving it room temp. will be fine.

Pros:
Skin feels smooth, natural, doesn't irritate skin and helps soothe and calm.
Cons:
Doesn't clear up my acne, very sticky and drips, can't do much while it is on.
Try adding ground cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice to honey to create a invigorating face mask. Leave on for 10-15 minutes, the ground spices help the mask actually stay on and not drip. Wash off very gently - DO NOT SCRUB, the cinnamon will burn a little. Final rinse with cold water and pat your face dry, again DO NOT RUB. Skin will fee fresh and smooth with a nice glow. I do this once a week along with a once a week aspirin mask, drink lots of water and tea, eat well and my skin is finally looking better.

honey mask
I mix honey with some olive oil and use it as a mask.
This works wonders for me, especially on the days where my skin is super oily yet also dehydrated and has flaky patches. Honey has many good properties: it is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, etc.
I only use organic honey, which can be found at Trader Joes. After this mask has set on my face for about 15 minutes, I wash it off, and my skin is much brighter and smoother. :)

Loving the honey cleansing, but getting red cheeks...Any suggestions?
I have been honey cleansing for a month or so...love the results, but yesterday had to try a new face lotion...due to a diet with no oil...so my face got all red in the cheeks...assumed it was the lotion...but after honey cleansing today...my face is red again...Could the crystals in the honey be too harsh? My face is on fire!

i love it! makes my skin so soft
I was aprehensive about trying it but my friend did it and it worked wonders for her so i didn't see any harm in trying. Right after the first time my skin was so smooth i loved it and i also found that it helps a bit with scarring although i dont have many scars or pimples. I just use raw honey and it does its job, sometimes i spice it up and add other ingredients such as lemon juice or cinnamon. Very natural, no odor, only con is that it can be very sticky haha
