Pros:

-95% clear skin!!! :D I'm too stoked
-Acne scars are going away
-I can do other stuff while it's on
-No more oily skin
-Even skin tone
-I got some compliments on my skin. That almost never happens :]
-Tastes good. Haha
-Works in conjunction with Differin

Cons:

-Sticky
-If I don't use it overnight, every night I wake up to new papules
-"High-maintanence" see above

I love honey! Currently I'm using organize Clover honey. I'm going to bump up to organic, raw Manuka honey soon in hopes of getting 99.9% clear acne, scar free skin. I'll do a review on that after using it for a few months. How I use it: -I mix honey, a little sugar, and a little lemon juice -I wash my face with a gentle cleanser -Apply the mix and then apply strips of tissue or paper towel so it won't get all over the place while I sleep -Wake up in the morning, remove strips, and I wash it off and apply Differin and jojoba oil

Pros:

smooths skin
softens red marks
works quickly

ive used this product once a day for 5 days after cleansing apply to face for 30mins-1 hour and rinse. It has not reduced any of my active acne. however i have noticed already that my redmarks plus the redness in my active acne do not fade away, but have a 'soften' look to them after rinsing off the honey. im not one to lie about a product so i wont say that it has FOR SURE faded my redness on the behalf of that after about 3 hours after rinsing the redness seems to come back. so i usually try to do this right before bed and sometimes i leave a dab on really bad marks over night, that doesnt seem to do anything. although its only been 5 days i would say that the redness went from 100% to 92% which means there is the tiniest little difference which means if i keep it up for a lot longer i should see a significant change. also this has not further broken me out at all. i use 100% pure local organic honey.

Pros:

very clean face
tasty
does not dry out skin
leaves your skin glowing

Cons:

sticky
gets in hair very easily

i put green tea leaves in my mixture (works very well, i recommend it) i don't have much acne maybe one or two pimples here and there i tend to pop small barely formed pimples which i know is bad and i get more and my face gets bruised from popping them and i applied this and it didn't really help much although it lightened up the bruises a little. i'm glad it work a little because neutrogena and clean n clear works well but it also dries out my skin but the honey leaves it fresh and clean and glowing and helps slightly.

Pros:

Cheap
Reduces Redness
Smooths Skin
Smells Good
Reduces Scaring
leaves skin glowing

Cons:

A little messy

I'm 19 and have been suffering from acne since i was 14. I've tried almost everything and so far this is my favorite. I used a pure honey, cinnamon and nutmeg mixture (smelled like Christmas :) ), and just after one time i could tell the difference I left on the mask for a bout 15 minuets then put on a face moisturizer after wards, left my skin feeling amazing. There is still redness and acne, but I've only been using it for about a week. My skin is quite sensitive and I'd recommend trying this to anyone

Pros:

Reduced redness
Tightened pores
Removed excess oil
Removed some acne and plugs after one application
Left skin feeling very soft
Delicious :p

Cons:

Messy/sticky/drippy but no big deal
Left some areas slightly more red (probably due to sensitive skin)
Redness of scarring did return within 10 or so minutes, however this was one application

My skin: I have had mild to moderately severe acne since I was around 13. I'm currently 24. At the moment my main problem is scarring, with a rash-like redness across my cheeks from nose to ear and some red single spotty scars towards my jawline. I currently also have a couple of what I call 'active spots'- raised but not popped or healed at all. Application: I applied a generous layer of honey onto my face using 2 disposable cotton pads. I left it on for an hour. During this time certain small areas became a little itchy (so something was working!), which I remedied by gently massaging the area and moving the honey around. There were some drips (which I know to look out for next time). But overall the waiting time was pleasant (and delicious). To remove: I took a face washcloth and heated with warm water, placing it over my entire face and let the honey warm for a few seconds (because the honey dries a little after being on your skin). The warmth at this point feels amazing by the way. I then gently wiped off the honey with the cloth, and rinsed my face thoroughly with running warm water. The result: Immediately after towel-drying I noticed large areas of redness were removed almost entirely. My larger more prominent acne scars were still very noticeable, but possibly not as 'angry-looking'. I feel these may improve with daily applications of the honey mask. The overall texture of my skin was improved. After ten minutes: I noticed most of the redness returned, however my skin was incredibly soft, it felt very clean and my pores were tightened. After a couple of hours: The redness had settled again, with large portions of my face noticeably less red than before application. Only very mild redness remained, however my larger scars still remained red, but again, less angry and they seemed very clean. I will continue this process as I do believe it will help in time. I gained better results than any store bought product.

Pros:

makes your skin glow
reduces the size of pimples
lightens acne scars
leaves skin soft

Cons:

messy

I use the honey as a mask and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. I have tried the mask with raw honey and normal honey, and I think raw honey is better.

Pros:

Soft/Glowing Skin
Helps with scarring/blemishes
Helps prevent future breakouts

Cons:

Sticky/Messy!!

All I can say is... WOW!! Honey has truly been a blessing for me! I am 24 years old and have suffered from acne since I was about 15 years old. I can't remember the last time that I have every left my house without makeup! I started taking minocycline (the first antibiotic prescribed to me for acne) but stopped taking it due to the side effects. Instead, I started using a honey mask (honey & lemon juice). I use it before I go to bed about 3-4 times a week. I leave it on for about an hour, and as soon as I wash it off my skin instantly feels so much smoother! I have noticed that my old scars have faded significantly and my skin is just overall more evened out. I also have noticed that my breakouts are not nearly as bad as they used to be... I still get them, but they are definitely much more tolerable. I am very happy wtih the improvements I have seen just from using HONEY.... just thought I'd share my results! :)
