Pros:

kills bacterias that causes acne. kills bacterias in skin so wounds heals faster if there are any wounds. honey is acidic, so it sucks up oil from underneath and dries up acne faster without irritations. tightens skin and won't dry out skin.

Cons:

drippy but who cares?

cleopetra used to bathe in honey in her times. drinking honey with water also hydrates your body to prevent dehydration, which will prevent acne due to imbalance of oil and h20 in your skin. nurses used to use honey to heal soilders' wounds. oh, how sweet & romantic.

Pros:

Honey really speeds the healing of blemishes. It's also very soothing and helps to get rid of dry patches. It doesn't clog pores.

Cons:

Messy.

My favourite mask and spot treatment :)

Pros:

affordable; easy to use; smells fine; visibly clear; non-drying

Cons:

it might drip so watch out; works pretty well but
nothing incredible just like most other treatments

I have been using honey as a spot treatment. I bought the store bought kind from pathmark, pure 100% honey and so far it has worked really well. At first I put it on pimples and it was okay but then I heard about the bandaid idea so I bought some circular bandaids and put that over my pimple with the honey underneath and wow pimples healed a lot faster. I had a pimple coming in an area where its hard for mine to heal and the next morning it was about gone from using this and I had this one pimple that would not open up or anything and I did this and the next monring it finally had that yellowish top we all look for and I was able to extract the plug later on the next day so give it a shot and see if it helps

Pros:

Wonderfully soothing to my skin, especially when I have a break out. It seems to help with the redness of blemishes and just basically soothes my dry, broken out skin, leaving it feeling fabulous afterwards.

Cons:

I'm not sure it speeds up healing or prevents breakouts.

Great as a mask, totally worth using especially if you break out a lot and your skin is sensitive. This is very very soothing.
