Seeing results and feeling smoother skin
I am a woman in her mid 40s and have had breakouts all my life, usually hormonal, but lately it is getting to the stage where I get clear skin one day a month, I'm sick of it. So I have been trying the honey mask all week and I have definitely seen a change in my skin, today my friend noticed and said my skin was looking really good! I am taking a liver cleanser too Milk Thistle that I think is helping, but the honey mask is making my skin softer and more moisturized. I use Rosehip oil as a moisturizer afterwards. Feels amazing, make sure you use raw honey though. I live in NZ where we have really good raw honey products.

very natural and gentle on skin
Honey helps calm the skin rash and the "burnt" or dry feeling caused my chemical products or etc.. for short term. But since honey is an antibiotic it helps kill the bacterias. (honeys expiration date is forever!) Apply 1 table spoon of honey and 2-3 teaspoon of baking soda.(best combination) baking soda is also anti fungal but compared to honey more harsh so its better to use it together. apply it twice a day after washing the skin. Don't forget acne is natural and it takes patience and time, stay beautiful.

Miracle worker
THIS STUFF IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I started getting acne thanks to the absolutely wonderful Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, and im on the way to clear skin again thanks to honey! So i started getting acne at january(?) because of cetaphil and i cant even begin to express how thankful i am for honey! it has SAVED me. Ive only been using honey for a few months and it has done wonders to my skin! i still have acne scars and i do get pimples here and there, but not a cyst since i started using this! I cant wait to see the affects of it in a years time! Basically its so gentle and so wonderful for your skin and it has cleared up soooo much of my acne. It may seem weird and my friends were like honey??? wtf. but it honestly works and it has sooo many good properties for your skin! just try it god dammit! And get raw or manuka honey! not that pasteurised sh*t they sell in the grocery store. Oh and wash your face with it TWICE a day, i only used to do it once but ever since i started doing it twice ive seen a drastic improvement.

I love this
my favourite mask to do includes honey, cinnamon and lemon juice (I just sort of eyeball the amount of each ingredient to make a paste). I don't have horrible acne but I always had quite a few pimples somewhere on my face, mostly around my cheeks and some on my forehead. I also had a lot of scarring on my cheeks. I did this mask every 2 to 3 days, focussing on the areas I broke out and avoiding my eye area. I found it easier to wash off in the shower because the honey is sticky and the cinnamon sometimes gets stuck in my eyebrows hahaha....anyways after doing this for about a month I noticed a huge difference and my face is now almost completely clear. it's a huge confidence booster and I'm slowly starting to feel better about myself :)

It Helped out a lot
OK so I don't really have acne more like I breakout at times due to stress and hormonal (I get a lot of blackheads but very few pimples), but these really helped. I use to wash my face a lot like 3 to 4 times a day but now its down to 1 time a day. At night I take a shower and in the shower I steam my face with my wash cloth then when I get out I apply a mixture of Honey and Cinnamon. I let that sit on in till I go to sleep. Right before I go to sleep I slightly wet my face with the mixture still on and rub in circles the rinse it of. Then I wipe my face with some sea breeze (I only do it if my face still feels sticky) then I apply a mix of Neutrogena sensitive face lotion and Neutrogena rapid clear lotion. In the morning I wash my face with my cleanser apply my lotion and go

Don't do it
Read all the reviews on here with high hopes, only to be disappointed. I mixed 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice and 2 teaspoons of honey and used it as a mask. First minute I noticed more redness than before and felt a burning. I had tested it on my hand beforehand and had no reaction, but my face was a different story. It got red and irritated and I almost had a nervous breakdown but realized it was just an allergic reaction and it soon faded with time. I have sensitive oily skin, and I warn those who try it with extreme caution.

Pros:

12 dollars sounds expensive but it was a 22 oz jar of raw honey :)
calms redness/swelling of large zits and even cysts
natural and gentle

Cons:

None really. A little sticky? It's not a miracle cure which is why I only gave it 4/5, but for me it heals faster and gentler than BP.

I started doing the water-only regimen but I will occasionally spot treat with raw honey. For some reason, it seemed that when I was using BP and stuff, spot treating with honey would never really do much so I gave up. I got an initial breakout from the water-only regimen (I quit BP, differin, cleansers and moisturizers cold-turkey so it's not surprise, really) and I wanted something to spot treat/heal with that could be washed off with only water. I returned to the raw honey and it has been working well. I had a chin cyst/nodule last night so I put some on it and it's no longer lumpy. My acne is now light.

Pros:

Antibacterial, smooths skin, reduces acne, reduces redness

Cons:

I tend to put my finger on my face and lick it

I've used it for about a week and I saw an improvement, like my skin is softer, smoother, my pores are tighter, etc. it's not like a drastic change but ill definitely keep on using it. Ps: I mix it with a few drops of lemon juice and leave it on my face overnight, as well as a 15 minutes mask while I take a bath. Be careful to use unpastherized honey so you can enjoy all the benefits.

Pros:

natural, smells good, somewhat cheap

Cons:

sticky

I have been using all natural, raw honey on my face for almost a week now and have seen great results so far. It definatly heals popped pimples faster, I had one pimple on my forehead that i popped and with the honey, the scab came off in 2 days! I leave the honey on for as long as I can, sometimes for hours. definatly use raw honey since regular honey wot do anything. Overall, my red marks are gradually disappearing, I have less acne and pimples are healing faster
