Pros:

-Clears up acne
-It's natural
-tastes great
-it's pretty dang cheap

Cons:

-none

I love green tea. It's a miracle worker. I seriously tried EVERYTHING under the sun to clear my skin and nothing helped, until I tried green tea. There was a clinical study that proved green tea as effective as benzoyl peroxide, and less damaging to the skin. My skin routine includes washing my face with the tea bags twice a day and drinking at least 3 cups a day. Seriously, if nothing else has worked for you, or if you want to stop treating your skin with harsh chemicals, try green tea.

Pros:

Clears Acne
Boosts your Metabolism
Clears your digestive system
Super Healthy

Cons:

Doesn't taste very good

I too tried it all, Neutrogena, Skin ID, Clearasil, etc. Nothing worked, and half of them gave me more acne scars. Green tea works, absolutely. I tried rubbing a tea bag on my face and already it feels much smoother and clearer. I've been drinking green tea for a month now, and no i dont excersise and I've already lost some weight too. I totally recomend this, it's cheap, its healthy, and it works. Plus I'm the kind of person who gets sick A LOT, and the day after i drank it, all my stuffiness and sinuses went away. Helps clear acne, boosts your metablosim, and helps you get better when sick.

Pros:

Helps with :
- high cholesterol levels
- infection
- impaired immune function
- surpresses appetite
- antioxidant

Cons:

- caffine can keep you awake as well as initate acne flare ups (drink de-caf!!!)
- aquired taste

I have struggled with acne and breakouts (mild to moderate) for as long as I can remember. I have used every acne product out there without getting a perscription or going on medication and nothing has worked. Red Tea (Rooibos) "worked" for a while but then breakouts continued to happen. I just got back from an amazing trip to Las Vegas where the desert air cleared up my skin entirely! Getting back home to Ontario Canada I was looking at pictures from the Summer of 2008 and trying to remember how my skin looked that good without the desert air! I worked at a hotel that served Starbucks coffees and tazo teas and I remembered (since I do not drink coffee, soda etc) I LIVED on Green Tea that summer. Laying out in the sun also helped since my skin LOVES Vitamin D (and dry air... Ontario has a lot of Humidity in the summer months). I decided to try drinking Green Tea again.. I was on the Rooibos kick and then gave up and really wasn't drinking any tea at all. I'm 24 years old and am tired of using Proactiv and face washes/toners that cost $40+ dollars. I am a firm believer that acne is cured from the inside out, I try not to eat a lot of deep fried foods etc, but I am human and occasionally break my cycle :) My point is, I live life. I'm not worrying about using acne facewash's anymore, or worrying about what I eat. I kickbox 3 times a week, work everyday, lay in the sun once a week and drink 4 cups of green tea everyday. I am now using Garnier Skin Renew (nothing for "Acne Prone Skin") as well as Garnier Fresh Invigorating Toner (Has Natural Grape Seed Oils) and I honestly DON'T moisturize at all... if I did it would certainly be something from the Garnier "Fresh" Skin line. I love the products, and the smells. Take it from me, I've been suffering from this for over 10 years, GREEN TEA WORKS! Simple Lipton/Nestle/Tazo Green Tea (I chose Decaf), and it's as simple as that. I unfortuantely can't live in

Pros:

-reduce redness
-antioxidant
-detox body
-cheap

Cons:

-bitter
-difficult to apply

I used it as a drink and mask. After i make the drink, i will take out the green bag and tear it open to get the leaves. I add honey to it and apply on face. It makes my face glow and reduce redness. Cheap and good..

Pros:

All natural, inexpensive, works quickly, tightens skin , great toner, and easy to find. Useful for both drinking then putting on your face.

Cons:

messy sink :)

Very impressed, read quite a bit of reviews before trying. I drink 4-5 cups a day , half of them decaff the other regular. I think Japanes green tea tastes better than Chinese and is supposed to be higher quality. My pimples have gone down DRAMATICALLY, my skin has a more even color and it is reducing the old blemish scars, AND NO NEW PIMPLES ! Those that say it doesn't work may not be using it consistantly enough or not on both the face and drinking it in enough quantity. Diet plays a role as well , No dairy, gluten sugar, coffe, peanuts or soy has helped, but the Tea added in has really kicked my face into recovery, truly amazing !!!!! Nothing to lose but a few $ for trying it, don't forget the good diet too :)

Pros:

-Detoxes the skin
-Improves overall health
-Effective if used consistently

Cons:

-Can get expensive depending on the brand you buy, but the cost is worth it

I live in a city that's been named one of the top 5 for most toxic air which is horrible for acne. Because of it's antioxidant properties, I use green tea as a toner every day after I cleanse. I also sometimes mix it with a little sugar and honey, lemon or plain yogurt and it makes a great scrub. If you fill a mug a third of the way with boiling water and let the tea steep until it's lukewarm it's more concentrated and makes a great toner and detoxer for your skin. Then you just dip a cotton ball into it (make sure not to drown the cotton ball, just a bit will do) and dab and gently rub it into your face so your skin really absorbs it. It works best after you shower or when your pores are open from steaming. I do this along with drinking a cup a day.

its clearin my skin up (slowly though) but i can tell its working my skin just suddenly had a HORRIBLE MONSTROUS break out and omg was it so bad and couldn't find anything to clear it up (i thought i had lost control of it) and then i did a little research on the computer and read that green tea is a anti inflammatory anti androgen and gets rid of toxins in your body so it pretty much covers everything that acne is caused by inflammation, hormones, and toxins sooooo you should try it!!!!

Pros:

Little to no spots, scars fading plus body feels better. Inexpensive and quite yummy to those that don't have a sweet tooth.

Let me just tell you all that I'm a fairy light Asian with sensitive skin so my skin is very difficult to take care of, especially in my environment - NYC and a stressed college student. I have tried a lot of different products over my 7 years of skin trouble but Green Tea has worked the best. I started drinking Green Tea for about a week and I saw great results. Before I started I would get at least 2-3 new pimples a day, etc, but now I would get one to none. Plus, my scars are fading! In the end, I wish I discovered Green Tea earlier.

Pros:

It made tremendous difference in a matter of a week..and I spent months and years trying to figure out clear my skin (many medications)..Only Green Tea and plenty of water..Nothing else..no sodas, juice, milk, NOTHING ..totally detox. I may apply peroxide at night and morning to clean out my pores. I wash with Cetaphil and "origin" mask to open my pores. Even the small pimples went away...A 180 degree difference..Try it..

Cons:

bitter..

DRINK GREEN TEA AND WATER ONLY..
