Pros:

- Exfoliating
- Soothing
- Natural
- Dries up Pimples, not entire face
- Smells great!

Cons:

- a little messy (but who cares!)

After a couple weeks of drinking 3-4 cups a day of green tea, I've started using it as a topical treatment. After drinking my tea (with a bit of honey) I mix the leaves in with my benzol peroxide cleanser, it's soothing, exfoliating and drys up pimples... it's incredible!!!

Pros:

Clears my my whole face, especially my chin massively in just about a week!

Cons:

None

I drink Diet Green Tea With Citrus from Kirkland/Cosco and it has cleared my chin up amazingly. I break out on my chin pretty bad but drinking this stuff just about (everyday) really flushes those nasty toxins in my body! I have had acne since I was about 11-12 years old and now I am 16. I have had pretty bad acne, but drinking this stuff really helped, and this is the first review I have EVER written! I go to a dermatologist, tried everything you could imagine except Accutane because I've heard bad side effects. Usually drinking Green tea and Lemon water will clear you from the inside, but you have to be consistent. I just love it so much!

I am reviewing green tea as a mask (as opposed to a drink). I use organic full leaf green tea. I put the tea bag in a coffee mug with only a quarter of the way filled with water. I do such a little amount of water so the water will be super concentrated. Then after I heat it up in the microwave, I let it cool a little and pat the tea bag all over my face. Also I use a cotton ball to distribute the tea water all over my face that way too. I clean up any of the tea water that has spilt on the sink/counter immediately after. I have been just keeping the tea bag in the small amount of water to continue to get it very concentrated and putting the mug bag in the fridge. I use this at night. Every morning when I wake up my pimples have been reduced in size, and others have been cleared completely. I always have a couple of cystic acne on my face and they have also reduced in size and redness, or haven't even hit the surface because I was able to catch it in time with this regimen. Redness is reduced and even scaring has faded dramatically. I am very happy with the way it works and want to continue using it. I highly recommend this. I have also been drinking only a cup of green tea/day. I have a hard time with the taste - but I may be able to work up to 3 cups/day after a while of getting used to it... One last thing - I have been using egg white mask in the morning too (and been exfoliating twice a week with st ives invigorating) just in case anyone was wondering.

Pros:

soothes irritation
clears redness and cystic acne
natural
inexpensive

Cons:

I've been using soooo many different products for acne from cheap to high end but none work for me. One day grandma suggested to me to try putting green tea bags after washing my face and OH MY GOD it works for me! been using for 3 days and i could tell the huge difference. Thanks Green Tea! I hope this will last forever. will be back after couple of months for updates. To those who suffered from acne please give this a try! I know how depressing it is.

Pros:

Clears skin right up and keeps it clear!
Lose weight
Feel healthy and energised

Cons:

None whatsoever!

I used to suffer from very bad acne in my senior year of High School. Coming up to the end of my senior year, my friend recommended I drink green dea to help me lose a bit of weight (for my formal). I'd drink 2-4 cups a day and found that not only was I losing the weight, my skin looked was crystal clear! At the time, I wasn't aware that it was the tea that was doing this. At the end of my senior year, I stopped drinking tea. As the months progressed, and I entered University, my skin returned to it's acne-ridden state. Recently, I've discovered why my skin was so clear - green tea. As soon as I realised this, I rushed off to the shop and bought green tea! Drink it, guys! This stuff is amazing not only for acne, but your health in general!

Pros:

-Helps keep skin clear

Cons:

-The taste can put some people off it, but after drinking it for a few weeks every day you get used to the taste and i actually quite like it now :)

I started drinking it at work because i was trying to cut down on coffee so thought i'd give it a razz (It was the only other hot drink there that could help wake me up and help me through a long day!) I have been drinking about 4 cups a day now for the past few months and have noticed a lot better skin, and also feeling a bit more chirpy at work because it seems to give me a bit of energy too. I still get the very rare breakout but usually between breakouts i would still have gotten some spots and my skin would look dull but the green tea has stopped this! I had no idea when i tried it that it would've helped my skin! When i was off work for a week i stopped drinking it (because i didn't have any at home) and i noticed a few pimples starting up again. Try a few cups of day to keep your skin clear...absolute worst case scenario is that it doesn't help your acne but is still good for you and will not make it any worse (unlike most treatments which can go both ways!) It is about the same price as normal tea so is relatively cheap, give it a go :D

Pros:

Good for the body and skin. Helps in reducing weight, and has toned down the redness of my face. Less breakouts. Cheap. Attainable.

Cons:

Taste is really bad if you drink it plain, but i like to add a teaspoon of honey to take away the bitterness. I've been peeing a lot lately because i drink it 3 times a day.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I was using this a month ago and stopped because i haven't seen any changes. But the week after i stopped i noticed i was breaking out everywhere. I was still convinced that green tea was not gonna help me, so i applied honey all over my face every night, for a few days the honey was working, but after a week or so, the honey made me break out even more. So i started drinking green tea 3x a day and it was a BIG mistake for me to have discontinued using it because i saw improvements with my acne that the honey did to my face. And 1 more tip, do not talk on the phone too much ! i always talked on the phone with my boyfriend every night, and that gave me acne on me left cheek where i held the phone. A suggestion would be to clean your phone every night with rubbing alcohol, or lysol, or any disinfecting product. I still have lots of acne scars and a few active ones on my left cheek, but i'm noticing the improvements that green tea is doing to my face =)

Sensitive skin miracle worker
At the age of 24, I have finally found a topical solution for my porous, sensitive, combination acne prone skin. Routine: make a cup of well steeped green tea in the morning, apply 1-3 tablespoons on the afflicted/prone areas with cotton balls and drink the rest. It should taste bitter when well steeped. This still works well if you use makeup -use the green tea as a toner and make sure it is dry before you continue with your routine. Repeat application of the tea on your skin before you go to bed. *Also, it is very important to gently cleanse all affected areas before using the green tea.* Within a couple of days trying this, there was noticeable reduction of acne on my chest, back and the sides of my face (the problem areas) as well as reduction of redness (irritation/inflammation) around my nose, mouth and eyebrows. Out of the thousands of dollars I have spent over the years on topical products meant to clear up acne, (cheap) green tea has worked the best. No joke. Good old, store brand green tea.... I wish I had known sooner. Both drug store and dermatologist prescribed creams and medications did not help my skin and often left it in worse condition. I highly recommend to try green tea first before blowing loads of money on expensive products! Your skin will thank you for it, especially if it has been left damaged, dried or burned by said products... A bit more detail: I have hormonal acne. Using green tea has gotten my skin the closest to 'clear' as when I was on the the pill. Hope this helps!

Very Good
If you want to masturbate and are scared of breaking out, drink a cup of green tea before and after you do it. I can now do it whenever I want without breaking out. From the research I've done, green tea blocks your body from transforming testosterone into dht, which is 10x more powerful than testosterone and causes hormonal breakouts. I'm drinking this stuff daily now with really good results. Add some lemon juice with it also, vitamin c increases the absorbincey of green tea.
