Pros:

Brightens skin, reduces redness, helps calm pimples.

Cons:

slight dryness

I bought some decaffeinated green tea and just after the first day I noticed my skin to be significantly brighter, and redness was not so bad. Even helped to dry out an active pimple by placing the cooled tea bag over it. I not only drank a few cups in the first day, but diluted some tea with some water and put it in a spray bottle to use over my skin. Really nice result. The dryness I experienced may have been from other products, as I do use acne creams as well..but a good moisturizer never hurts no matter what the case is. I'd give green tea a try!

I submitted a post a couple of weeks ago (see below) and in the mean time discovered "Get Gorgeous" tea by Republic of Tea. It is specifically for clear skin. It contains rooibos tea and other herbs, is naturally decaffienated and tastes pretty good. A bit pricey at $11 a canister (contains 36 tea bags). I drink 2 cups a day and I think it is helping with clearing up my skin. It is full of antioxidants and even has Chaste Berry which helps with female hormones. I'm still drinking a couple of cups of green tea too, but I think this tea is better.

Pros:

healthy, doesn't make it worse, makes your skin feel soft, helps you drink lots of water

Cons:

may not work for acne

I have been drinking about 2-4 cups of freshly brewed green tea everyday for 3 weeks and I don't really see a difference in my acne. My skin does feel softer and is somewhat glowy and rosy, but I still continue to break out. I have moderate adult acne that gives me a few blemishes and bigger zits continually. I hated the taste at first but am growing to like it. Add some lemon and a drop of honey. I drink organic green tea during the day and decaf at night. I am going to keep it up and see if it eventually helps.

Relieves redness
I have lots of old red acne blemishes and on the days when I can't drink green tea they are noticeably redder. On the days when I do, my face is not as red and oily. I steep loose-leaf organic green tea throughout the course of the day. Let's be clear though that it doesn't help to actually get rid of acne, it just helps the appearance of my skin. I love it though, it has so many health benefits!

Hey, at least it's healthy..
When my acne started to accumulate, I read online that several cups of green tea per day could really clear your skin...Since there are boxes and boxes of green tea in my cabinet, I said ,'hey, why not!'.. So from then on, I drank about 2-3 cups of tea per day.. Sadly, I experienced a very little difference in my skin..My acne simply became less inflamed. Certain factors could have caused this such as only drinking about two cups per day but, you can decide if this method can help you..Either way, green tea still has amazing health benefits that you can benefit from if it does not help your acne

What kind of green tea were you drinking? The one from typical grocery stores that comes in a box full of tea bags won't do much to help with acne, if that's what you had. You need high quality green tea. For example, where I live there are some Asian markets in downtown where I bought a container of loose-leaf green tea sealed in a foil-lined bag. That's the good stuff, versus buying a box of, say, Lipton tea bags. Of course, the health benefits are there regardless, but I'd say give the high quality stuff a try for skin improvement.

My new coffee
I recently quit coffee about a month and a half ago and this has been my replacement. Using other skincare treatments aswell so I'm not sure how much it does for the acne itself, but for my body in general' fantastic. I drink 1-3 cups a day and feel great!

Go grab a cup right now
It's simply awesome. Not gonna lie, it took me a while to be able to enjoy it, especially on it's own, but now it's simply part of my every day routine and I let it infuse for a good 30 minutes, covered with a plate, twice a day. I have been doing so for 2 years, and my skin has never been clearer. Now, when it comes to green tea, go ahead and treat yourself, try to grab Japanese Sencha tea, add honey if you must. Even if it doesn't seem to help with your skin, it has way too many other benefits to enjoy !

Yes

Pros:

Yes

Cons:

Doesn't work wonders for your teeth color...

This isn't a COMPLETE life saver when it comes to acne but it does help considering green tea is an antioxidant. It cleans out your body. So yes it does help with acne. I haven't had some in a while and I have been breaking out.

Pros:

- Tastes great (I use vanilla flavour)
- Cheap
- Healthy
- Calming

Cons:

- Doesn't really do much for my acne

I drink 1 cup a day before bed. It's calming and tastes great. I feel if I was to drink about 3 - 4 cups a day I might see a bigger difference.. but I am not a big tea drinker.
