I had Awful acne for three full years, I treid everything i mean everything, honey , pills etc. My cure arrived when i found about green tea. I use organic green tea which is really helpfull for me. Green tea improves your skin faster if you have a healthy diet and work out daily, it may work out for the others faster on their skin but those who have really bad acne you must have a healthy diet and cut down all the sugar and junk food. Also do not buy pure green tea that one made me breakout overnight so i advice you not to drink that one but organic tea instead. Rubbing tea bag on your face and use the leaves aswell is really good for your skin and clears your skin faster

Cons:
The non-"organic" version is a bit useless.
It works, especially when topical application is coupled in. Get over the taste; it doesn't taste like a hamburger patty.

Pros:
It makes your skin softer, smoother, less oily and it dries up pimples fast!
Cons:
none really
I never had acne when I was younger but started getting it in college and Vet school now that my stress is through the roof. Nothing seemed to work, I tried ProActive which worked well for about a year and a half but then stopped working. Everything else just made my face dry and red because my skin is so sensitive and didn't get rid of the pimples. Green Tea is great because it is natural and isn't harsh on your skin but it really does the trick! I drink three to four cups a day and then pat the tea bag on my face and let it dry before applying lotion. I also started using a lotion by Alba that has green tea in it which really helps. I have been using it for about a week and my acne is noticeably better (still not completely gone but better). I have high hopes for this treatment. And it makes me feel better that it is natural.

Pros:
-Tastes great
-Good for overall health
-makes skin glow. No new pimples
Cons:
-None at all!
I only have light to moderate acne, but green tea does seem to really help supress any new pimples coming up. IT also makes your skin glow too! Plus, it tastes delicious, and is good for you so there is nothing to lose!
I drink two bottles of green tea, and a few cups of Korean black tea everyday, and my skin looks much better!

Pros:
Cheap, tasty, and very good for you - has antioxidants which help prevent cancer and all sorts of infections.
Cons:
Might be a radical change for some people. As another reviewer said, too much can make you feel ill, make sure you don't drink much on an empty stomach.
I've been using this for years, and on its own it's reduced my acne from very severe to moderate/light, depending on what time of the month it is. It's more pricey, but using loose tea is better than teabags. It's always best to try natural solutions and avoid the chemicals if you can help it. I reccomend dropping coffee and drinking green tea instead, the difference will be immediate. Works as a great toner as well.

Pros:
Reduced redness, exfoliate, soften the skin, cheap
Cons:
Messy
I drink grean tea with honey everyday and I used the used tea bag as a scrub. I open the tea bag, brewed in hot water, put more cold water so it gets warm. Then i wash my face with it and use the tea leaves as a scrub. The result is amazing. The redness because using to much BP is gone, and it's also good to get rid of the dry skin that really flaky. The next morning my existing acne is dry and my skin in smoother. The only cons is after you use it, my sink is pretty messy with the tea leaves. But it's easy to clean. YOu should try. It's really good if your skin really dry and flaky cause it's exfoliate the skin without iritate it.

Pros:
-Inexpensive
-widely available
-healthy
Cons:
-None
I have VERY sensitive skin, so many popular treatments on this site did not work for me. For example, I am very allergic to Apple Cider Vinegar (caused itching in scalp and body), Flaxseed Oil (caused rash + itching..to the point I couldn't sleep at night), and the aspirin mask did not work for me. I felt so frustrated and hopeless. I almost gave up but found green tea to be working EXTREMELY well with me. In fact, I have seen improvements and if I get acne, green tea can help heal very quickly! :) So, I am extremely satisfied with green tea. So those of you with very sensitive skin, I'd highly recommend green tea. Also, try to eliminate your intake of dairy / meat. I know this sounds really crazy but that's what I did and have noticed huge improvement. Good luck to all !

Pros:
Softer skin, clearer skin, tastes good, cheap
I have been drinking green tea for about a week and my skin has been getting clearer. I started rubbing my face with the tea bag last night and my acne has cleared up even more. My skin now feels softer and doesn't feel oily at all which it usually does. It also has many other health benefits.
Pros:
Natural, quick, REAL, and cheap.
