Definitely gentle!
This is a great cleanser, especially for no-makeup days. It takes off all of my eye makeup but doesn't overdry my skin like other cleansers do. I pair it with my Clarisonic Mia 2 to take all of my makeup off. I'm using tretinoin, so my skin is sensitive to cleansers at the moment and Cetaphil is a lifesaver!

Pros:

Smooth
Prevents pimples
rinses well

Cons:

No foam/lather
Pricey
Takes time

This stuff is pretty expensive, especially for the size of the bottle. But I love Cetaphil products, and I think it's worth the price! I still have acne but the number of pimples I'm getting has greatly reduced. I've been using it for a month, and only got one pimple all month! I still have scarring on my cheeks, and it's taking its sweet time to heal up. I will keep using this, because my skin is sensitive and dry, and this gentle cleanser is great for what my skin needs. Try it out!

Pros:

Non-irritating
removes oil

Cons:

No Foam

I have light acne, most of which is attributed to oily skin. The cleanser works and removes dirt, oil, and such. The only negative is that it doesn't foam, so I feel like I have to use more pumps than necessary to clean my face. With that said, I'd still recommend the cleanser as it is a lot cheaper than my old one (dermalogica).

Pros:

Non-Drying, Doesn't break me out.

Cons:

It doesn't remove makeup, but that's okay. I just used something else for that.

I think I am very sensitive and this is the perfect cleanser for me!

Pros:

VERY gentle
Clears acne like NOTHING else! :3
Leaves skin moisturized, even in dry weather
Makes my skin feel natural and clean

Cons:

Absolutely nothing

I've been using Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser ( Oily Skin Facial Cleanser as it's called in Canada ) with my Clarisonic Brush for YEARS. It is the only thing I'll ever use. People complain that it doesn't lather? When I put a pump onto my Clarisonic, I'll put a bit of water on it and rub my finger over the brush in a circle until I get a bit of a lather, just enough to spread it around. That's all you need people. Personally I don't like feeling like I'm washing my face with shampoo >.> Anyway. This product, along with my ACV toner and Aloe Vera moisturizer, has kept my face clean, crystal clear and soft C: It's just so gentle and leaves your face feeling COMFORTABLE ( Not tight or "squeaky clean" ) and moisturized ( doesn't even dry my face out in this Oklahoma weather ). I've used dozens of other cleansers, from Neutrogena Naturals to all of St. Ives cleansers, and nothing can beat Cetaphil for price and effectiveness. It may seem like it costs alot for a Cleanser, but you have to realize you're paying 16 or so dollars for a huge pump bottle that lasts well over 6 months. I can't recommend this product enough!

Pros:

-No weird smell of the sort
-Clean feeling
-Does not dry out skin

Cons:

-No tingly feeling

It's a perfect cleanser for people who breakout every week or so. It may just be me, but this cleanser is the best thing that I've ever come across. Although it doesn't have that somewhat refreshing sensation when you apply, it does the same and even better. I highly recommend this to anyone with light to moderate acne.

Pros:

Leave skin soft, dispenses easily, bottle lasts a long time, Gentle, Cheap

Cons:

A bit runny, leaves my skin feeling tight after use but no biggie

I really like this cleanser. It makes my skin soft as it claims and it's really gentle. The bottle dispenses really easily and lasts a long time. It can be a bit runny but that's ok. It also tends to leave my skin feeling a tad bit tight after using it but I still recommend the you try it!

Pros:

Lol this is silly but I like the bottle...anyways, I enjoy using it as it is so soft and agreeable. I wash it off with water on my face, but I also wash my chest with this cleanser and just use tissue to wipe it off. Effective either way.

Cons:

Quite pricey. I paid around £6 for my bottle, but I am willing to splash out if it helps keep my skin clearer. Its also very nice.

Trustworthy cleanser. Highly recommended as it has helped my acne prone skin. Bit expensive but it is worth it and I cant find anything similarly non-irritating/non-comedogenic on the UK market anyway so I'm happy to stick with Cetaphil.

Pros:

- Very gentle
- Does not dry out skin
- Perfect for removing eye makeup! (I actually use it more as an eye-makeup remover now)

Cons:

- Does not remove all of my foundation
- Does not remove any dead skin on the face
- Says "foaming action" but it has never foamed for me

I really love this cleanser, but at the same I find that it's almost too gentle for me. It doesn't remove makeup or surface gunk as well as I'd like, but I'm sure it would be fine for somebody that doesn't wear makeup. However, it's FANTASTIC for removing eye makeup! It doesn't sting, and it works so much better than the oil-based removers. Too bad it doesn't work as well for foundation. So, if you want a *really* gentle cleanser, and I mean gentle, then I think Cetaphil would be perfect for you. Especially if you have sensitive skin.
