Cons:

i am absolutely in love with this acne cleanser, i have just about tried everything.. from proactive to clean&clear to neutrogena even the stuff the professionals gave me. nothing worked like cetaphil did for me. my skin is sensitive , gets dry, but very oily in afternoons. all my friends were using cetaphil so i tried it too, and i can proudly say ill never go back, after washing my face cetaphil left it so fresh and clean. id first rinse my face with some water just to smear the makeup off a bit. then i would wash it with cetaphil cleanser, dry it , & then use the cetaphil moisturizer. id let it sit for 2-3 minutes just to make sure it all sunk into my skin, then apply the proactive acne mask a thin layer across my whole face, but a spot more on those hormonal zits then go to bed, wake up wash my face add the moisturizer then the makeup to start my day. and that was my routine as simple as that. i definetly recommend this product ! its amazing

Pros:

-very light
-leaves my pores feeling open, and not tight
-doesn't break me out
-does not make my face dry

Cons:

-does not foam

I love this! I got it about a week ago because it seems every one of my friends use it, so I decided to try it. I used to use the Oxy face wash, but it just wasn't working as well as I would like it to. When I first started using the Cetaphil, I had a HUGE, RED pimple right in between my eyebrows, after two nights, it started going down. I was amazed! I also use the Oxy spot treatment with this product as my acne routine, and I do both of these plus a moisturizer night and morning, this leaves my skin flawless.

Pros:

no burning
no itching
no redness
reduces acne
works fast

Cons:

none

i use the daily facial cleanser every morning and every night, and i had very noticeable results within a couple of days. i have oily skin, especially after applying foundation on my face. mostly on my chin, and thats were i get the most breakouts. i also had a lot of redness, but after using cetaphil, it reduced drastically! like everyone else says, it doesnt remove make up well, pretty much mascara. but it takes off the rest of my makeup. after i use the daily cleanser i like to use apricot scrub for daily exfoliation, then i use toner to shrink the pores, then moisturize. i know, sounds like a process but it really works. its worth the 5 - 10 minutes of my day to have healthy skin!

Pros:

I've used dozen of over the counter cleansers from Neutragena to Clarins to Clean&Clear etc etc, NONE of them are as gentle as this one. Leaves your skin soft, clean and refreshed. Instead of red, dry and irritated

Cons:

None that I can think of

Whether or not you have acne, this cleanser is very very gentle on the skin and since most acnes occur as a result of irritation, it doesnt harm to try this product. To me its better than specific acne treatment cleansers when combined with BP.

Pros:

Light, not greasy, helped clear skin

Cons:

nothing except burns a bit if caught in eye and if you put to much

I noticed a big improvement with the way my skin feels. Also not greasy at all and I am very PICKY so this one is good. Cleared my forhead but I have been doing the Dan regimen which I love. I altered a little bit but it helped. For all you people, just give it enough time. My 1st day I wanted to give up, but I gave the moisturizer a chance and love it.

Pros:

Very gentle, great as a basic cleanser

Cons:

None

I've been using this product for a decade, since I first had minor breakouts as a teenager. Back then, I tried products by brands such as Neutrogena and Dermalogica, and Cetaphil kicked all their asses. I'm still using it, and my skin is doing great. I've had problems getting some people to use the product because they *think* it doesn't feel clean, but that's precisely why it's effective! When skin gets that "squeaky-clean" feel, it's already stripped, which can irritate skin even more. Some people also don't like Cetaphil because it does not foam and has no fragrance -- but again, that's why it works. Foaming agents and fragrance can dry and irritate skin. Lastly, please, no complaints about how it does not remove make-up. Cetaphil was never intended as a make-up remover, especially since a lot of make-up now is made to be tough to remove. Use make-up remover if you use make-up! I really want people to try this because it's worked so well for me! :)

Very good
I use this cleanser in the morning and at night. It is very soft but enough to cleanse your face without drying it. It helps me with the acne. I have notice I need to be more careful when removing my makeup, so that's why i think sometimes it does not work, however it is not the cleanser it is need to use my fingers or something else to remove my make up better.

Long standing favourite
This has always been a favourite of mine, but has been particularly good for my skin during my accutane treatment, and has irritated my now-sensitive skin.
