Pros:

Soft skin
Inexpensive
Great on wrinkles

Cons:

Still get periodic pimples

I was originally introduced to this product by a plastic surgeon after slicing my face open to help the new skin come in and prevent extreme scaring, I still have a scar but most people can't see it as its just a minimal line. I continue to use it 15 years later to keep my skin soft and use it all over.... I am 32 now and often get asked when I'm graduating high school and if my parent or guardian can sign something, this product isn't the most expensive but every doctor I've mentioned it to loves it.

Pros:

Gentle on skin

Cons:

None so far

I had breakouts a few weeks ago (because or maybe the bacteria as well as part of my skin became resistant to erythromycin and bp, but this products saved my skin 2 years ago) ... The acne invasion came back with vengeance... my mandible and buccal area was engulfed by acne...but greatly diminished since I used Cetaphil, I did it by pouring a generous amount of cetaphil on a cotton ball and let it slide on my face in a single film with firm single direction from jawline up in to my ear area, and rinse it with lukewarm water (not hot water). Thanks.

Pros:

Very gentle
Unscented
Soap-free
Does not dry out skin
No new acne
Old acne is healing
Calms skin
Evens out complexion
Prevents itchiness

Cons:

Unattractive packaging

My acne is light, T-zone is oily, and cheeks are very dry. In the days when I had perfect skin (ironically, all my life before the age of 20), I didn't use a cleanser at all. Lately, I've had this idea to create a new, very simple routine: cleanse, then moisturize. So far, Cetaphil's Gentle Skin Cleanser is exactly what I've been looking for. My skin looks and feels like it has taken a huge sigh of relief. This product won't work for everyone. Here is some background on myself to help you decide whether or not this product might work for you. My acne didn't start until I was 20 (I'm now 24). My skin changed drastically around that time, and my forehead and chin suddenly became very oily while my cheeks remained very dry. I acquired NUMEROUS little clogged pores in the oily areas that eventually would erupt into pimples. I found that anything with salicylic acid ingredients made my skin itchy and worsened my acne. Before this I used Purpose; it was an improvement, but I still would get 3-6 painful pimples at a time. Also, BP wasn't so great for me. I realized it wasn't doing much when I stopped using it 6 weeks ago. This is the first time in 4 years that I have NOT experienced the pain of emerging pimples and itchiness. My acne is healing, and I have no new pimples emerging. I hope this trend will continue! I'm looking forward to having beautiful skin!

Pros:

-Doesn't dry out
-No harsh "scent" chemicals
-ACTUALLY WORKS
-Softens my skin

Cons:

-It doesn't give that SO CLEAN feelings, but that is because it is gentle and does not dry you out a ton.

I have only been using this for about a week and it has worked amazing. I never write reviews for anything, but this product deserves one. My acne has cleared so much. I usually get really dry skin with my cleansers, but this one actually makes it softer. I have tried EVERY product I can think of, I am sticking with this one now.

Pros:

-None that I can think of.

Cons:

-Doesn't lather, its got a very awkward consistency..
-Skin doesn't feel clean after washing.
-Hasn't made a bit of difference to my face.

I've been using for about 2 weeks. I hate how my skin doesn't even feel clean after washing it. & it hasn't made my acne any better at all.

Pros:

Gentle, non-irritating
Cheap
Rinses easily
no smell

Cons:

?

I like this product because it isn't harsh and rinses easily. It doesn't have a smell and isn't drying to the face. I've been washing my face with this this Cetaphil for a while and I do like it.

gentle but not my favorite.
cetaphil...I like how it feels, non drying and moisturizing. I have trouble with moisturizers so I like to count this as one in my head. however, I don't think it cleans very well. I have oily skin and often still feel pretty oily right after cleaning. I don't wear makeup but don't imagine this would work very well to remove it. I use this when I feel like my skin needs it, but not on a regular basis. when I used it as a daily staple cleanser, I had an increase in clogged pores, which are my biggest issue. I dunno if it was the ingredients or if I need something stronger or what but it just didn't help.

Love this
I use this on a nightly basis after taking off my makeup with a facial wipe and before applying either vitamin e oil (Body Shop) or a night cream (Origins). This cleanser takes a while to get used to, as it doesn't foam at all seems to have the texture of a watery moisturiser and doesn't 'feel' like its really doing anything. I feel like switching out some of my harsher products for this milder cleanser and using it on a daily basis as part of my skin routine has contributed to the huge improvement in my skin. With it being reasonably inexpensive in comparison to many other cleansers on the market its worth a go.
