Pros:

*Simple and basic face wash
*Affordable (found a HUGE generic version @ CVS that I'm gonna give a try)
*Foamy without over-drying
*Removes Everyday Minerals foundation (heavy or evening-out makeup requires a double cleanse)
*Can be used with soft facial brush for simple exfoliation a few times per week
*Never causes additional breakouts (I have plenty of other products that break me out, this face wash is never the culprit)

Cons:

*Does not fully remove eye makeup
*Used alone, will not treat acne (but I prefer my cleansers plain so I can choose my treatment level)
*Does not travel well (squirt some in a travel bottle: problem solved)
*Cannot store in shower; water always finds its way into the bottle and dilutes the product

I have repurchased Purpose Cleanser more than ten times over the years, and I really like it. Simple, gentle cleanser that can be found everywhere that I shop and at a price that I can afford.

Pros:

This is a great soap free cleanser. I used to use Clean & Clear, but realized the residue from that cleanser was staining my tub. If it's doing that to my tub, what is it doing to my skin. So I switched to Purpose with is soap free and dye free. I use it all over my body because I have had bad acne since giving birth to my son. It hasn't cleared completely, but the effects have been depleted. I have tried everything from Proactiv to Nutregena and nothing has really worked.

Cons:

Have been using a month and I have seen improvement, but not at the level I'd like. It is only my first bottle, so time will tell.

Don't feel like it leaves residue on my skin as other cleansers have and feel very clean.

Pros:

I love this cleanser. I think if I didn't wear makeup I would like cetaphil better, but it doesn't make me feel as clean as Purpose (because it foams). I actually prefer the CVS version of this cleanser. You get a lot more for the money (I think it was $2 cheaper) and to me it works and smells better even though it should have the same ingredients.

Cons:

Can be drying. More expensive than some other cleansers. But I haven't found anything better

Great everyday gentle cleanser, that actually cleans! I've tried a lot that I can use for a little while, but this is the only one I can use over and over and my skin seems to like it.

Pros:

Gentle, doesn't dry out your skin
Removes makeup
Cheap

Cons:

The bottle is a poor design

This is a great cleanser to use morning and night along with any other acne treatments. I've tried a lot of different face washes, and I always go back to this because it works so well. You can't leave it in the shower or else water will get in and dilute it. If you travel, you have to put it in a different bottle or else it will drip over everything in your suitcase.

Pros:

Cleans skin well
Smells clean
Gentle
Pump

Cons:

A little drying
Foaming (if you don't like it)

I only tried this cleanser while I was on Accutane. I didn't have super dry skin except around my nose, but this seemed to just dry me out too much. If you have normal or oily skin, it would probably be great. It is very gentle, has a clean smell, and my skin feels clean afterwards, just dry.

Pros:

-gentle
-removes makeup well
-makes skin soft after use

Cons:

-bad packaging, water gets inside the bottle if you leave it in the shower.
-it leaks, I lost about a third of the cleanser because it got tilt over.
-doesn't remove completely my eye makeup(the makeup isn't water proof.
-it's a little expensive if you get it in drugstores.

try it. but i have to say that i have switched to Olay foaming cleanser for sensitive skin. i feel that the olay cleanser works even better than Purpose cleansing wash, because my eye makeup gets removed by using it. And Olay foaming cleanser sensitive is a lot more affordable. Still, both are good cleansers.

Pros:

-You can be sure that it won't clog pores or aggravate acne
-Fragrance and die free
-Non irritating
-Easily removes dirt, oil, and makeup
-Inexpensive

Cons:

-May be too drying for extremely sensitive skin
-Can be a bit hard to rinse off

I recently switched to this after using Cetaphil for several months. I prefer Purpose because it's definitely non-comedogenic, (Cetaphil is pretty rich and not-oil free and I'm pretty convinced that it does actually clog my huge pores.) This will be the only cleanser I'll use from now on.

Pros:

Gentle, rinses off well, cheap.

Cons:

Has strong fragrance, some ingredients may make you break out, small bottle compared to other face washes.

I decided to try this because I was using Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser and it was giving me little pimples - I thought that Purpose was about the same to Cetaphil - not for me. After just ONE washing with Purpose, the skin on my entire jawline started to break out with hives - I am guessing I am either allergic to the fragrance or the quantium-15 (some people have said it can irritate) so I immediately went back to the Cetaphil (which didn't give me hives) - just be careful of different ingredients - not all gentle washes are the same!
