Pros:

Gentle
Non-drying
It foams!
Leaves me feeling clean and fresh

Cons:

None yet!

I took a trip to the store after a day of researching on this site... I went to Trader Joes & bought Jojoba Oil ($4.99), & ACV ($4.99) then Walgreens for the Purpose ($7.99) I started using Cetaphil and had so far gotten the best results with it.. until I decidied to give this one a shot. It's gentle, lathers up nicely, and it doesnt burn or irritate my skin at all. I feel refreshed and clean. I use it morning & night. I follow it with a toner consisting of 1 Part ACV/1 Part Witch Hazel/3 Parts water, and top it off with Jojoba oil (alone in the PM). I was so surprised to find that mixing a few drops of Jojoba oil in with my Olay Regenerist Serum makes a perfect mixture! I apply this before my foundation in the AM. I hardly do any touch ups or blotting all day, and I have a healthy glow again.

Pros:

Is Gentle

Cons:

Face didn't feel cleansed

This product is okay as a supplement, but I don't think it's necessary to fight acne (I think water is sufficient in some cases).

Pros:

Gentle, doesn't dry out your skin
Removes makeup
Cheap

Cons:

The bottle is a poor design

This is a great cleanser to use morning and night along with any other acne treatments. I've tried a lot of different face washes, and I always go back to this because it works so well. You can't leave it in the shower or else water will get in and dilute it. If you travel, you have to put it in a different bottle or else it will drip over everything in your suitcase.

Pros:

-Gets rid of acne slowly but very gentle
-Very affordable
-Doesn't dry your face
-Removes makeup
-Very fast and easy because of pump

Cons:

-Doesn't help with oil levels

Its an AMAZING product. I tried so many acne products and they were horrible so I decided to just use this product. At first didn't do much, but then started slowly clearing it up. I used to have moderate acne and now i have very light. So just try this product out, its affordable and it won't contribute to any acne. :) P.S. About the packaging part, I do have a little water that went inside and now its even more gentle but just remember not to put too much inside or it won't do anything. :)

Pros:

*Simple and basic face wash
*Affordable (found a HUGE generic version @ CVS that I'm gonna give a try)
*Foamy without over-drying
*Removes Everyday Minerals foundation (heavy or evening-out makeup requires a double cleanse)
*Can be used with soft facial brush for simple exfoliation a few times per week
*Never causes additional breakouts (I have plenty of other products that break me out, this face wash is never the culprit)

Cons:

*Does not fully remove eye makeup
*Used alone, will not treat acne (but I prefer my cleansers plain so I can choose my treatment level)
*Does not travel well (squirt some in a travel bottle: problem solved)
*Cannot store in shower; water always finds its way into the bottle and dilutes the product

I have repurchased Purpose Cleanser more than ten times over the years, and I really like it. Simple, gentle cleanser that can be found everywhere that I shop and at a price that I can afford.

- smells good
- comes in a pump bottle
- doesn't overdry face

Cons:

- not anything really except maybe for the packaging. Water can get in the bottle if left in the shower

I really like this cleanser. It's really gentle and gets your face clean. Doesn't burn or sting your face at all. A really simple, basic cleanser. Very good :)

Pros:

*Leaves no residue
*GENTLE!!!
*Good for rremoving oil & make up

Cons:

*Does NOT, i repeat DOES NOT get rid of acne.
*Doesnt clear AT ALL

Okay I have small, flesh-colored bumps covering my forehead. They have been there for 2 years now. I have tried numerous products, everything! Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, Murad, and many other expensive Sephora brands and nothing worked. So i came to this website and went to the recommended products. I then found this product and saw many many very positive reviews, so i thought i'd give it a try. I have been using this, along with neutrogena on-the-spot and the Purpose brand moisturizer, for nearly 2 months now and I have seen no results. If you want to get your acne under control, do not use this product.

Pros:

This cleaners works awesome for people with all different types of skin. It foams up good, cleanses great, takes off makeup, and my favorite doesn't overdry skin.

Cons:

Bottle does leak a little during trips, so baggie would be necessary!

Don't buy expensive cleansers, especially if you're prone to breakouts. The simplest regime is the most effective regime.

Pros:

Very light
does not break me out
not expensive
Does not dry my face
has a "clean" smell

Cons:

Pump leaks

I love this cleansing wash! I use it 3 times a day (morning, afternoon & night) i couldn't believe such a generic looking product could work wonders for my dry, sensitive skin. I had bought expensive cleansers at Sephora in the past, but never again! This cleanser is totally worth the try in my opinion.

Pros:

Doesn't over dry, cleans everything off quickly, lasts a long time, lathers up great

Cons:

bottle doesn't travel well and can't be taken into the shower

I can't live without this cleanser. It is simple, has no soap so it doesn't dry out my skin, and cleans my skin so well. I have ever experienced any irritation or had any breakouts from this product. It also has a comforting scent, its kinda like baby shampoo. Can't get much better than this cleanser.
