Pros:

White heads are gone. Pimples are dried out quicker.

Cons:

Smell.

I've been using garlic for, what? going on three weeks now. I apply it topically to all of my face. I cut each clove into pieces and then run it over my skin. I leave the juice on over night, wash my face in the morning, apply the juice again, wait 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Also, every morning I cut up a large clove and swollow the pieces. I repeat this at night. It works wonderfully but if I don't stay consistent all of my progress is lost. I'm going to buy garlic suppliments to see if that helps. I want to stop doing this topically because of the smell and how long I spend applying it each day. Also, no one has any information on the possible long term effects of this. Wish me luck. I'll keep ya updated.

Pros:

Dries up much of the acne first day. Left my skin with a glowing radiance the second day. I love it!

Cons:

Does leave a burning sensation for maybe the first half hour, because of the Allicin it contains. And it does make you smell lovely.....haha!

Pour a tbsp of Olive Oil into a small bowl, then crush a clove of garlic into it. Dip a cotton ball into the liquid and apply to face or problem areas. I think that the olive oil protects and soothes the skin while allowing the ingredients in the garlic to do its work. I am using it every night on my skin, and am also using the garlic that is left over to take internally. When you eat it, though make sure you just start with a tiny bit at first, as it can cause some "ickiness" if your'e body is not used to eating raw garlic. Garlic has powerful antioxidants that are destroyed when it is put under heat, so getting our bodies used to eating it raw is a great idea. Healing starts from within. Also, eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables can help to cleanse our bodies of the many toxins we are exposed to every day, and besides helping to clear up skin, they can help with overall health. Pros:

Definitely reduced cysts on my face, made calmer areas appear clearer. It's interesting reading people's responses to it. I have very sensitive skin and can rub about two cloves of garlic over my face, leaving for the night, and I see results.

Cons:

Some people will not like the smell, but I love cooking with garlic! If I'm going to be working out or whatever, I steam my face to clean my pores of any left-over smell. Stings, yes, but should go away after a few minutes.

If you're not allergic to garlic, very good short-term break-out herbal solution. But it's only helping with the after-effects of acne, not dealing with the root problem. Whatever that really is.

This works I'm serious! I was so desparate and SAD because of my acne then used garlic and BOOM baby! In two days use.. WOW is all I can say First day not much difference because I only left it on for a little bit and didn't put much on second day I put so much on and left it for 15 minutes or a bit more (please don't use it overnight!) and it dried up my acne I'm serious right there I was so surprised now all that's left of my acne is these dried little spots I don't have active acne anymore I'm soo happy! Trust me it worked for me!

Pros:

Garlic applied topically works and the ingredients in raw garlic aggressively and quickly destroys the pimples.

Cons:

Extremely potent on the skin and can burn the skin, leaving a red mark on your face.

Use it in moderation. Too much garlic applied topically will burn the skin.

Pros:

The garlic does reduce inflamation It has worked better for me then Antibiotics,Lasers,Microderm, and any over the counter acne wash.

Cons:

I love garlic, but you will smell it all day long, if you want to limit the smell soak the cloves in milk for 20 min. Burns slightly for about 30sec, don't use this rememedy right before you leave your house..give it al least a half-hour.

Garlic, it is a pain in the a** to do every day...but it does help.

Pros:

-all natural, possibly organic
-cheap, eaily attainable
-works quickly -increases your feeling of responsibiliy, as you prepared your own remedy

Cons:

-Burns like lye! (Ie remember Denzel Washington dunking his head in toilet in Malcolm X?)
-uncertainty of whether it will damage your face

Try it! Wait till weekend. My First time was yesterday-- I just put about ten cloves in a sandwich bag and crushed them with a hammer. Stored it in the refrigerater, and it's still potent. After 15 minutes, I washed my face with organic soap. Surprisingly I noticed shrinking of pimple(s) immediately. There were little islands of dry shriveled skin around my pimples. The redness disappeared quickly; my skin reassumed its copper tone. Then I put shea butter on. Right now I've had it on for about an hour and will remove it soon. The burning subsided after about thirty minutes.

Pros:

Fast

Cons:

Smells.

The first time I did this, it worked really well it srunk my zit really quickly. But when I did it again it burnt my face, I think it was because I left it on too long. It should be fine just don't rub it into your face like I did. I'm also light skin so thats probably why burnt me. Just be careful.
