Cons:
Caused huge, sore cystic acne along my jawline and on my back.
I took 1 tsp of flaxseed oil a day for three weeks and got nothing but deep, cystic acne along my jawline and huge sore pimples in the middle of my back (never had any there before!) Oh and I also gained three pounds because of the extra fat intake from the oil. So this stuff obviously didn't work for me. I'm a 30 year old female who has had acne since I was 15 and there has never been a day in those 15 years when I haven't had at least a few pimples or more on my face. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who didn't outgrow acne after puberty. So since the flaxseed caused me to break out worse and gain weight, I'm going back to using the Proactiv Extra Strength kit and drinking one cup a day of Wu Long tea, which seems to help, but I still wish I could find something that would make my face clear since I'm 30 years old!

Pros:
obvious glow in the skin and hair.
Cons:
isn't enough to cure acne alone
i've seen my skin glow inside out. but flaxseed alone won't cure your acne but certainly help with combined therapy (other acne products)

Pros:
None
Cons:
None
I used flaxseed (ground) for a month and did not notice any difference. My acne started getting worse. I do not think it was because of flaxseed. I went on accutane after a month and am loving it. MY skin is clear. Not a single breakout any more!

Pros:
Good for your general health.
Cons:
Tastes bad.
I have been taking this for about two weeks mainly for psoriasis of the scalp. The amount varies everyday, sometimes I take 4 pills a day, sometimes just 1. The directions say to take 6 huge pills a day, and I just can't stomach that. What have I noticed? Well, nothing. Maybe because I'm not taking enough, but neither my psoriasis or my skin has been greatly helped by this product. I get better results (healing wise) from 500IUD of vitamin E at bedtime, to tell you the truth. I have never really found any supplement that prevents acne, although I have heard good things about high doses of vitamin A (but then you're essentially taking a poor form of accutane, and this is very dangerous without medical supervision.)

Pros:
Improves Skin Mosture
Cons:
Causes Severe Breakouts
Despite being inexpensive, it isn't worth a dime. See a dermatologist and begin isotretinoin therapy (accutane) if you are serious about getting rid of acne. I've been on accutane for three months now and have had far less breakouts.
Pros:
None
