Pros:

Tightens and refreshes the skin
Doesn't smell
Cheap

Cons:

None.

I basically just wanted to start using home made facial masks, and found the lemon juice/eggwhite mask. I made it using one egg white, a tsp of lemon juice and a tsp of manuka honey. Put on washed face and leave for 20 minutes. Was off gently with warm water. Amazing stuff.

I randomly saw this face mask highly rated one day when I was on a mission to find something that would work for my face. All the expensive acne treatments either made my acne worse, made my skin hurt, or made me peel like crazy! I was so tired of using harsh chemicals on my face to fight my acne. I felt like I was destroying the skin on my face at the cost of trying to manage my acne! I am 28 years old and have had problems with acne for the past 10 or so years. I actually had great skin when I was in high school, but something horrible happened between graduation and my twenties. My acne gradually got worse, and I started having major problems with cystic acne. These cystic pimples would never go away! They lasted for months. Anyways, long story short, it seemed like the more I tried to fight my acne the worse it got! I have no idea if it is hormonal or diet (allergy) caused. All I know, is this egg white method has been working wonders for me! The first time I put it on, I left it on for about 20 mins and then washed it off. The next morning, my pimples were significantly decreased in size and redness. I proceeded to put it on every night and my acne got better and better! Now, I put it on every night or every other night before bed, and sleep with it on my face. It's kinda weird to get used to at first but the benefit is way greater than the trouble. I rarely have cystic acne anymore, and if they do come, they are way smaller and go away way quicker! I still have some small clusters of tiny pimples around my chin, but every day is better and better. I think my skin is on a long healing process from all the harsh methods used before. I am willing to bet that after a year of the egg whites, my skin will be back to normal. Oh, one more note - I use a gentle bar of soap to wash my face at night (just soap and hands) and then put on the egg whites. In the morning I exfoliate with baking soda. I don't use anything else! Not even lotion! There

Pros:

*Makes my skin glow.
*Dramatically reduces redness
*Prevents breakouts if used consistently
*Tightens pores
*Natural and usually non irritant
*Easy to acquire.

Cons:

*None

I'm 14 and have moderate acne across my forhead and on my jawline, so mostly in the T-zone area. I found that using strong cleansers and exfoliaters would leave my skin quite red and irritated so I decided to use this egg white mask to see if it would help with my skin. After 3 days of use, I noticed that my skin was a lot more clearer and the redness of my acne was dramatically reduced. My morning routine: 1. Rinse my face with cold water gently. 2. Apply Cetaphil all over my face very gently. 3. Rinse off the Cetaphil and pat dry my skin with tissues. 4. Apple light beaten egg whites to my face with a make up remover pad. 5. Allow the egg white mask to dry for 20-25 minutes.( I usually just go on Msm or Facebook or watch TV during this time). 6. Wash face thoroughly making sure to remove all the egg whites. 7. Pat face dry again with tissues. 8. Gently apply my oil-free moisturizer.

Pros:

-Softer skin
-Zits shrank (In fact, I think my pores did as well.
-Cheapest soulution I've tried yet.

Cons:

-It's a bit uncomfortable when the egg dries and your skin becomes real tight.

I started breaking out when I was 13 and now, going on 17 and after trying every acne medication and cover up in the country, I thought I should try a home remedy. SO GLAD I DID. I get tiny little white heads that just cover my forehead and bigger ones on my chin, and after one night of using an egg white mask my skin is FLAT. Every single pimple is is smaller and not nearly as red as they were before- which makes them so much easier to cover up. And my skins so soft~ I'm going to continue doing this for awhile- and if youre thinking about doing this then you really should try it. ALSO, I read that you should let your face air dry after you wash it off. Theres something that the egg leaves behind that helps fight acne. Thats not much help, hmm? :/ ( I've heard that egg whites heal damaged hair, so I think maybe that it's doing the same thing to all the inflamed acne and scars- just puttin' that out there. )

-reduces bumps
-tightens pores

Cons:

-cant wear it during the day

I just started doing egg white masks while I sleep and the effect is greater. I put differin on at night and then after that dries apply egg white on prblem areas. This reduces new breakouts and current acne. Wont get rid of everything though.

Pros:

Cleared my skin
Stopped emerging acne
Gets rid of oil
Tightens pores

Cons:

Dries skin out

I've been trying a ton of masks and such recently as well as changing my routine so I'm not sure if my skin clearing is due to this egg mask, but it is highly possible. I've used this 2 days in a row and my skin is loads better! I only have about 4 small spots as compared to about 10 a few days ago. I use the Oxy skincare line -cleanser, pads, and spot treatment and I also put honey and cinnamon on any spots at night or do a honey mask if I get dry skin. If I pop a pimple, I do it the right way and then dab hydrogen peroxide on it o kill the bacteria Finally things are getting better :D Give this a shot, you have nothing to lose at all!

Pros:

*Wipes out those acne demons!
*Makes skin soft and well moisturized
*Natural and very inexpensive

Cons:

*If you do this around people be prepared for botox themed jokes!
*Slight smell( I don't eat eggs so this creeped me out a little)

I have had acne for about 5 years and I've tried quite a few expensive kits, facials, and treatments that didn't really work. I tried this last night and when I woke up in the morning I had 2 pimples left! I don't know about anybody else, but I haven't been able to count how many zits I have since the 6th grade! Gosh I'm just overjoyed to have found this site! Please try this! Oh and don't worry about salmonella. I was stressing out about that, but as long as you wash your hands adequately, no salmonella for you(:

Pros:

Makes pores smaller
Brings everything to a head including those darn cysts
Clears skin!
Reduces redness
Leaves skin glowing
reduced dark scars a bit

Cons:

Can't move face when its on lol
Redness after taking mask off - but this goes after few hours
dries skin with repeated use

Ok i had quite a few cysts and TONS of blackheads so i decided to give this a try. I've been using it every evening for a week so far and my mum saw me and couldn't believe how clear my skin was! which is great because i can't look at my face in the mirror. The first time i used it, it was so tight on the skin and i got a little bit nervous lol. I left it on half an hour and washed it off and immediately my face was quite red but this went after 3 hrs. All my cysts had come to a head, and half my blackheads and gone (which was probably why my face was red). This is what i've been doing; 1) Wash face and dry 2) Crack egg in half and collect the white in a bowl 3) You can whisk it lightly if you want but i tend to just leave it as it is 4) the messy part - apply it on face 5) Peel the white stuff from inside of shell and put on worst areas - for me it was the cysts and blackhead patches 6) leave on about 30mins 7) Wash off! The inner white stuff of the shell was great for "drawing out" a lot of the stuff and bringing things to a head. I'm afraid to say i did have to squeeze a few of those that had but they're a clean pop and as long as you're GENTLE it should be fine, but remember only squeeze GENTLY when they have a HEAD. but really resist the urge to squeeze at all, so when you use the mask again it will take them out for you hiiiiiiiiyaaa! Now that my skin has cleared quite well i'm going to use it about twice a week - it does tend to dry out the skin, i noticed this when i put the mask on and it began to feel itchy, so a moisturiser is handy. Furthermore the mask loses its effect with too frequent use. I suggest using it every evening for the first week When my mum saw me she also said my darker scars appeared a little lighter and overall redness was gone. This is only after a week remember. This has been the most effective and quickest treatment i've ever used and i've used absolutel
