Pros:

Skin feels tighter.
Reduced redness and appearance of pores.
Smooth, soft skin.

Cons:

Hard to apply.

I've had acne for about eight years. Within the last year I was taking a prescription that really helped but I don't have insurance nor any money for it anymore. So, I started researching home remedies. I've been off my prescription for two weeks and in lieu of it have been washing my face with Baking Soda and honey. Both work exceptionally well and my acne is down to virtually nothing, which is fantastic because I'm nearing that fateful time of the month when it gets significantly worse. I tried egg whites today for the first time (didn't know ppl also used the yolk). I mixed it with honey, lemon juice, and a drop of lavender because I hate the smell of eggs. My skin feels incredibly soft and brighter. Haven't noticed any reduction of pimples but I'm going to keep trying this also because I have oily skin. I'd definitely recommend it. It also didn't cost me because we have chickens :)

Works ok to make skin smooth
I have blackheads on my face, not huge pores, but I do have a lot. I read that this would pull them out, so I was disappointed when none of my black heads were removed after doing this, however; this did make my skin glow and left my face feeling smooth. I love to do this mask and then my makeup, it leaves me looking clear. All you do is separate the egg white from the yolk, use a old makeup brush (a clean one) to spread it onto your face, then once the first layer is finished drying grab some toilet paper and place it on your face, applying another layer of the egg white , wait about 30 minutes and you're all good . (: This also did not irritate my skin at all, good for all in my opinion.

Pros:

softens skin
shrinks pores
tightens skin
fights acne!

Cons:

feels very tight on face
slight smell

Since school just started I have been stressing out about classes and because of this I started to break out like crazy! Around my nose and on my jaw line I noticed ance popping up everywhere. I heard about using an egg white mask, but did not believe it would do all that great because not even using acne medicine seemed to reduce my redness and irritation. I gave it a shot after a shower this evening and I can already see a difference in my skin! It did have a slight smell but it was tolerable. I applied the egg whites and left it on until it was completely dry (about 20 minutes) A few hours later I checked my face in the mirror and the redness has nearly disapeared, and the smaller pimples are gone! This is a miracle treatment that I will be sure to use in the future.

Pros:

actually works on acne
makes skin look more even
reduces redness and inflammation

Cons:

a bit time consuming

If you've tried everything on the planet, then try this for your skin. After ProActiv, Neutrogena, Cetaphil, and St. Ives failed for me, I tried this. After two weeks of using it, my face was the clearest it has ever been. I actually could go outside without makeup on and I still looked great! I stopped the next week and of course, my period came and along with it some fresh new zits. But the egg mask is already helping out with those! It's easy and cheap. You can add honey to the egg whites if your skin gets too dried out.

Pros:

-lessens redness
-reduces bumps
-tightens pores

Cons:

-cant wear it during the day
-itchy

I just started doing egg white masks while I sleep and the effect is greater. I put differin on at night and then after that dries apply egg white on prblem areas. This reduces new breakouts and current acne. Wont get rid of everything though.

Pros:

Cleared my skin
Stopped emerging acne
Gets rid of oil
Tightens pores

Cons:

Dries skin out

I've been trying a ton of masks and such recently as well as changing my routine so I'm not sure if my skin clearing is due to this egg mask, but it is highly possible. I've used this 2 days in a row and my skin is loads better! I only have about 4 small spots as compared to about 10 a few days ago. I use the Oxy skincare line -cleanser, pads, and spot treatment and I also put honey and cinnamon on any spots at night or do a honey mask if I get dry skin. If I pop a pimple, I do it the right way and then dab hydrogen peroxide on it o kill the bacteria Finally things are getting better :D Give this a shot, you have nothing to lose at all!

Pros:

-Cooling feeling when applied
-Tingly
-Leaves refreshed face when washed off
-You can feel the pores tightening

Cons:

-Have to do it occasionally for it to start working

This mask helps basically ALL acne cases! It works great, especially when you are unable to afford the highway-robbery prices of treatments that don't work! Use it at least once a week or once every two weeks for the change to start kicking in!

Pros:

It really helped clear up my acne when nothing else would. And it worked so fast.

Cons:

Of course it's gross putting egg on your face and it smells wierd.

I'm only 15 and I have a moderatly severe case of acne called Nodular Acne. It's a type of acne that are like cysts. This really does work and I'm sure it'll work for everyone.

Pros:

Tightens Skin
Dries up Pimples
Gets rid of Blackheads

Cons:

Left my skin dry and rough

I have dry skin to begin with so I didn't need this for oily skin. The reason why I tried it was because my skin has been looking tired and I broke out with a zit a week before a dance I have. I tried this today and it made my skin tighter and less tired looking. It also has already started to dry up my zits! The only bad thing about it is that my skin is really dry right now so I had to use lotion. I will try to do this once a week from now on!

Pros:

- It definitely helps fade acne scars and heals acne
- visibly tightens pores
- skin feels a lot firmer

Cons:

- messy >.>
- face goes a bit red after wash
- kind of painful.....ouch

I personally do not too the egg white mask too often, it more of an emergency mask if anything But from past experiences All I can say is "That's pretty cool" xD When you first put on the mask its kinda slimy and you're like "....disgusting" and after a good couple minutes you're face is screaming "I CANT BREATHE!!" because i feels like your all your skin cells are being glued together into one huge conglomerate of cells >.> but after consistent use of this mask 3 times a week for several weeks, I found that my acne scars seemed to have lightened quite a bit (may be temporary though, who knows?) and that my pores aren't big as the craters on the moon anymore xD (pure Win!) I found that my face would go very red after washing off the egg white... So I usually just lay a cool towel over my face for a couple minutes to help let the redness go away.. Also after you're done with the egg white and can use the egg yolk to help moisturize and soften =) ....that's pretty nasty too though >.> ewwww, but worth it..Big time
