Pros:

Less Pimples
Less Redness
Shrinks Pores
Less Oilness

Cons:

It Can Be A Little Messy!

I have been using the egg mask for about a week now & I have already noticed a difference! I like to use the mask before I shower. I leave it on for about 30 min then i take a shower. I love how my skin feels after I remove the mask. I have light acne and i most say this is really helping my skin!!!!

Pros:

- Minimizes the pimples
- Tighten the skin
- Smooth complexion
- Get rid of little white bumps on the face

Cons:

- Takes awhile to heal but it's definitely worth it.

- Egg white smells

It's my 6th time trying out the Egg White mask.. First of, i have really bad acne marks on my face and a few pimple on my forehead, cheeks and my chin. Which really ANNOYS me so BAD. And i did some research and i found this amazing cure by using an egg white, and so i decided to try it out since it's easy and affordable. Overall, i did like it for my pimples but not on the acne marks. It doesn't heal the scarrings but pimples and those little white bumps that had eventually gone on my face. Here's what i do: 1) Crack the eggs and separate the egg white and yolk. You gonna need just the egg white, stir them till it turns kinda liquidy foamy. (Make sure you wash your face with a suitable cleanser and rinse it with warm water to open up the pores for the mask) 2) Apply the mask on your problematic areas, avoid the eye area (due to tightening) and apply slightly generously. 3) Leave it for an hour or two. 4) Rinse it off with cold water. (Make sure you cleanse your face thoroughly. *Cold water can close the pores.) 5) Go ahead for your skincare routine or apply some acne trreatment creams/gel if you have acne. Yeap, that's what i do the entire 6 days exactly and it did shown improvement on my pimples. *For people who wants natural treatment for acne marks/scarrings. Try using lemon, do some research on it and you'll find out it will work! I bought some lemons to try out today, if it works i'll post a review on this website but on the lemon treatment page, so do check it out after 2 days or so. Good luck to you guys!

Pros:

Got rid of blackheads
Reduce redness/evened out my skin tone

Cons:

Made me break out more than I already do

I tried putting on an egg white mask everyday for a week. It feels tight on the skin but it doesn't hurt and it is easy to wash off. My blackheads were gone in just 3 days! I have very bad acne so my face is always red and the egg white seemed to make my face less red for the first time in my life. The only bad thing is that it made me break out more so I will only use it on the areas with blackheads and maybe like once a week for the redness

Pros:

-Cheap
-Feels like face is tightened (Though I can't say much about that... You don't need much "tightening" at 18)
-Reduced pimple size (whiteheads)

Cons:

-Made face red
-Didn't reduce scarring
-Didn't help papules/ cystic acne
-Buuuuuurn!

So I used this for a good 3 months with Differin gel 0.1 (I was already on Differin for 4 months before using the egg mask). At first, there were some small positive results but then once I began to approach the three month mark, my face would be red and very sensitive after washing it off. It hurt to touch. I think this would work for people with light acne who aren't using retinoids.

Pros:

- tightens pores
- effectively dries pimples
- whitens the skin
- cheap, almost always present in your kitchen

Cons:

- the smell, if you're first timer but once it becomes a part of your regimen, this won't bother you at all

- some people will typically ditch the egg yolk after separating the whites, sometimes they will get a few tbsp. of whites then what's left goes with the yolk in trash bin meaning there's a waste

Most people who have used this, they swore that it's going to be part of their regimen FOR LIFE. Well, I've been inconsistently using (for 5 years already) this as I'm exploring different household remedies, but I always come back for this because the egg proven itself to me already. I certainly DO NOT recommend using this mask overnight as it will make your skin very very dry (not to mention the agony of sniffing its' smell while sleeping), use this mask for 20-30 minutes should do the trick and apply good moisturizer. What I do: I crack the egg and separating the white and the yolk. Place each of them in small ramekins and get 2 tbsp. from each. (your face must be washed already with gentle cleanser like cetaphil or any brand that works for you with lukewarm water) 1. the white goes on my face (pouring the 2 tbsp. right on my CLEANSED hand) and stays on my face for 30 mins. (maximum time) then I'll wash my face with lukewarm water. 2. the yolk comes in (same procedure as with the white and I'm finishing it with cold water to close the pores). No moisturizer required because the yolk acted as my moisturizer already. The parts that were left on the ramekins, I usually cook it as omelet or scrambled egg or whenever I'm cooking my egg and veggies soup that way I avoid wastage. :)

Pros:

~easy
~affordable
~"fun"
~works
~results

Cons:

~itchy face
~messy
~your putting egg whites on your face- ew!
~wasting part of egg

I tried this with my Uncle and my little brother and we had a lot of fun doing it. It was fun to see how we looked so funny and watch our face "shrink". This is the best treatment you really could get with the simplest thing from your house. You could do it weekly because it only takes 20 min at most including the preparation of the egg and keeping it on your face for 15 min. What we did was we took one egg and separated the whites and the yolk and I kind of whipped the whites a little. Then we just applied it to our faces. It was easy and not that uncomfortable bet it did make my face itch A LOT to where I just wanted to take it off. But otherwise this is a very fun thing to do with friends and no doubt helps/will help your skin a TON!!!!
