Pros:

cleans your skin

Cons:

doesn't do anything for acne

i have combination oily/normal skin, but the oily portions of my face are REALLY oily (aka shiny, greasy). this, though it did clean my face pretty well, did not really do anything for my oily skin; it was still pretty oily. i probably won't buy this again, since i found a more drying cleaner

Pros:

Nothing, really.

Cons:

THE PRODUCTS STINKS SO BADLY THAT I CANNOT USE IT WITHOUT FEELING ASPHYXIATED. I cannot believe how totally overly perfumed this product is, and I will never buy it again. I hate it.

Stick with the Cetaphil Fragrance Free Gentle Facial Cleanser. That's the ticket.

Pros:

makes my face feel clean non oily very good for sensitive skin

Cons:

i think the breakouts come from unclogging pores

i recomend this to any1 with sensitive skin

Pros:

-removes oil (if you use cetaphil moisturizing lotion with it)

Cons:

-does nothing for acne

its an okay cleanser, it 'cleans' and you can tell. im using accutane at the moment and the drug itself is good and does tremendous work. although with the cleanser im doubting that because i get like 2 new pimples at the end of the week and iv been using for 3 months im thinking of switching to spectrojel ***basically if you have normal skin with a few flaws, use this***

Pros:

Works very well, is a lot "thicker" than the generic brands, doesn't smell too bad, cleans without drying my skin out.

Cons:

Its kind of expensive, but, if you look around, you can find it packaged with free samples of different stuff.

Its definitely more expensive than the store brand or even other non-store brands, but its worth it. The price I paid is for the 16 ounce bottle.

Pros:

Doesn't clog pores or dry out your skin, gets rid of oil.

Cons:

A slight stinging sensation.

This is an amazing cleanser. I don't have much acne, but my face felt ALOT cleaner and softer after ONE use. I'd recommend this to anyone and if you have acne problems, just use an acne cream after you use Cetaphil. I've used Cetaphil for two days and it got rid of the redness around my chin and nose as well as my forehead. Not to mention it comes in a huge bottle and it's very cheap so it'll last you a LONG time! :) It has a slight smell to it but it's not heavy, it just smells like soap.

Pros:

Cleans my skin, feels nice after I use it. Makes my skin soft, not drying (although I use a moisturizer anyways, it just makes me a little dry). It hasn't aggravated my very sensitive skin.

Cons:

Does nothing to help acne or oil.

It's a good cleanser, but it didn't help my acne or take care of oil.

Pros:

Easy to use, gentle

Cons:

Did nothing to help acne
Fragrance

I thought that maybe a really mild cleanser would help my acne. This did nothing to hurt or help. Although I noticed that like another post, I have gotten breakouts along my jawline/hairline (where I never breakout)... It did not promise anything for acne, so it did what it said. Was a good face wash and my skin felt clean but not over dry. Still gonna try something else.

Pros:

Removes surface oil and dirt effectively.
Leaves skin feeling soft, doesn't strip face of essential oils.
Comes in 16 oz bottle and lathers nicely, lasts a good amount of time when washing 2-3 times daily.

Cons:

Will occasionally leave areas around mouth and eyebrows dry if not using a moisturizer.

I use to have severe acne but my regimen, below, fixed it quickly.

1.Rinse face with warm/hot water 2.Dispense 1 pump into the palm of your hand 3.Massage gently** for 45-60 seconds (massage the cleanser using only enough pressure to pull dirt/oil across your face and out of your pores/ DO NOT press hard when cleansing or else you are forcing the surface residues back into your pores, creating more problems) 4.Rinse the cleanser off using water, not your wet hands... 5.Wait 5 minutes or until your face is completely dry 6.Use a witch hazel toner/astringent with as little alcohol as possible (I use T.J. Dickinsons Witch Hazel) on a cottonball/cosmetic pad/ or sterile gauze 7.Smooth the toner over your face gently, and let it air dry 8.Do this twice a day, you'll notice a positive difference with your skin almost immediately...If you're an athlete and you need to wash your face in the middle of the day, don't use the toner, just cleanse thouroughly and then cleanse and use the toner again before bed 9.Cetaphil Daily Facial Moist
