Pros:

Clears oily skin, doesn't dry out my skin at all

Cons:

Doesn't do anything at all for acne, doesn't foam up

Good product, doesn't clear acne, but it doesn't promise to do so. I didn't experience any extra irritations or anything from the product. In fact, when I stopped using it, I realized how oily my face really was...

Pros:

May work well for those not sensitive to the ingredient(s). Has been disastrous for me.

Cons:

I started using this product about a year ago and after a few months started developing redness, watery pustules and dry skin. I was told I may be developing Rosacea. I have switched to the original Cetaphil and all symptoms have disappeared!

There is something in this particular cleanser and I suspect it is the fragrance that has been irritating my skin for some time now. I don't know why I didn't suspect this sooner but since the regular Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser has never caused me any problem of any kind I assumed this one would be similarly gentle. I am so glad that I switched to the regular (unscented) Cetaphil as I'm tired of having a chronically red-faced look and being prescribed Metrogel for borderline Rosacea!

Pros:

It's the best cleanser I ever had!

Cons:

Sometimes if you are rubbing it in your face too long it will dry your skin, but not too much for me.

I have used so many cleaners and regimens in the past. I went to dermatologists and spent an arm and a leg. Tried Proactiv and Acnefree which both worked but I became dependent on them. Now I use this along with Nivea Moisturizing Toner, Neutrogena spf 15 oil free moisturizer, and zapyzyt and it's finally clearing up and it's saved me some $$$.

Pros:

Does not clog my skin, very gentle

Cons:

does not cleanse well, leaves most of my makeup on!!

This is a good product for people with very sensitive skin, it doesnt irritate me at all but leaves a lot of oil and dirt on my face

Pros:

Doesn't irritate my skin at all.
Doesn't leave my skin oily or dry.
Seems to prevent breakouts.

Cons:

None!

My skin is in the best condition that it's been in for a long time now that I'm using this cleanser, Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion, and benzoyl peroxide. Wish I'd come across this earlier.

Pros:

the pump is nice
gentle
you get a lot for the price

Cons:

the smell is kind of strong
a little drying

I love this cleanser. It can dry out your skin, but you only have to put moisturizer on. THe only thing I don't really like is that it doesn't lather and foam up, but other than that, i really like it.

Pros:

washes off easily
no residue leftover
leaves face smooth

Cons:

I dont like the fragrance

It really cleans deep when used with the Clarisonic Brush. It is gentle and never irritates my skin.

Pros:

- the scent is very mild

Cons:

- not very lather-y
- dries out skin

I'll keep going with this because I've bought it and will see it through, but it's pretty irritating. I'll give it another few days to see if the irritation subsides. It was a change from the Clean and Clear, but I'm not sure it's a favorite. I'll edit this review in a few weeks when I get a better feel for what it really does.

Pros:

It works for my skin type (Oily).
I like the smell of it.
I like the pump dispenser.

Cons:

It stings my entire face.
It hurts when you get it in your eyes.
I don't really like the consistency of it.

I would recomend this if you don't have sensitive skin. Personally, I didn't like this face wash at all. It was horrible on my skin.

Pros:

It is easily available, relatively inexpensive.

Cons:

Too harsh for my skin

I am not slamming the product per se but it is this is the cleanser that most dermatologist recommend as one of the most gentle cleansers, but for me it was quite opposite. I have tried both the original and the one formulated for oily skin and the way my skin reacts to both of them is the same. I would get a tingling/burning sensation and my acne would increase. I guess I have to stick to water to cleanse my face. But of you have more resistant skin, this cleanser might be your best bet since it doesn't have all that added junk.
