Pros:

it works!! ive had it for about 2 months, and it has definately helped my skin. yes, it does slightly dry your skin, but i think that is good because it keeps your skin from being very oily. plus.. all you need is a oil-free moisturizer and your set!

Cons:

no cons darling

yah it works, use it! yes it costs a lot but its worht it

Pros:

Really does help your skin clear up

Cons:

REDNESS!!!

The only reason I stopped using this was due to the fact that it gave me a horrible rash. It had been working but since my skin is so sensitive and I live in a humid region, it only helped somewhat. I would only recommend this to someone who has tolerant skin and lives in an area not susceptible to humid conditions.

Pros:

A miracle treatment! Immediately began clearing up stubborn acne (within 2 days). I've been using it for about 2 weeks, and only have one pimple now! (I used to be completely covered!)

Cons:

The price is a little steep, but as I'm sure all of us know, there is absolutely no price to put on a clear face. I will pay whatever it takes for this cream if it keeps my face clear!

Unbelievable. I had a perfectly clear face through highschool, then started to get acne when I started college, around age 19. For the last 4 years I have had moderate to severe acne, and HATED my face and going out, etc. After trying everything, i.e. every combo of over the counter creams, multiple combos of antibiotics (did nothing), retin-a micro, numerous other perscription creams, pro-active, nature's cure..i had given up hope and decided I'd have to try accutane. I went to a new derm, and he completely changed by routine. I now wash face morning/night with Benzoyl Peroxide wash, apply Benzaclin morning/night, take Spironolactone 50mg/2 times day and changed by BC to YAZ rather than lo-ovral. It's all about finding the right combo of treatments, but if you feel like you've tried everything, try Benzaclin, it just may work, and make you wonder why no one gave you a perscription for it 4 years ago!

Pros:

Excellent spot treatment- clears and dries up pimples and also shrinks red cyst-like zits QUICKLY. You don't need to use it for weeks upon weeks before it starts to work.

Cons:

It is pretty drying when you first apply it, however it has never made my face peel. Also, it's more of a "rescue" treatment - it won't totally keep you from getting new acne, & if you stop using it or slack off on it, ur acne probably will come back

This is the ONLY acne treatment that has EVER worked for me. It kept my acne pretty under control for the 3 years I was on it consistently. It dried up new acne sometimes overnight and kept my zits from developing into huge pustule-type zits that take forever to go away. After I lost my health insurance I had to stop getting it as often ($75-85 per 90-day supply, yikes), but w/out it my acne got so bad, with no OTC stuff working on it, that I don't mind paying out of pocket!

Pros:

I noticed a significant reduction in breakouts within about one week of using Duac. I didnt find the smell offensive and I found it affordable (roughly £7 on British NHS scheme)

Cons:

If I miss an aplication I notice more spots the next day!

After over 10 years of mild-moderate acne (mainly around my jawline and lower cheeks) I felt I had tried everything (lots of topical treatments, oral antibiotics, and various contraceptives) I went to see my doctor with the aim of trying Roaccutane (a last resort!). When he prescribed another lotion I was disapointed but gave it a whirl anyway. I am very pleased to say that Duac has been very effective. My breakouts have been reduced by around 70%. I really felt my confidence was at an all time low...and this treatment has really changed things. I am not completely spot free, but like many other acne sufferers I have accepted I probably never will be. However I would recomend this treatment for anyone like myself who doesnt want to jeopardise their health by constantly taking pills.

Pros:

It did appear to reduce the size of some of the larger spots

Cons:

It didn't really se any significant improvement in my skin, I still ahve tons of spots, no less than I had when I started using this.
Also the standard problems with a benzyol peroxide treatment - dry/peeling skin, it bleaches your clothes

This hasn't really worked for me. I have suffered from acne for years, for many years I was using a 10% benzyol peroxide treatment to keep the acne at bay and for many years this did the trick, my skin wasn't perfect but generally wasn't terrible either. However several months ago my skin got significantly worse, I went to the doctors, he prescribed me this. I really wish that this could have helped me as it seems to have helped a lot of other people on here :(

Pros:

for me this medicine works

Cons:

very expensive and if u dont use it that offten u have to keep it refrigerated.

This is by personal opininon, everyone has different skin types. Everytime that i feel a breakout coming just put a little dab on and the next day i notice that its gone. I love this medicine, but its hard to use it as directed becuase of dry skin. was on accutane but didnt use this becuse of that reason. i have also notice that it helps to fade some of the scars that i have from previous acne.
