Pros:

Seems to get the HArd stuff out of the way FAST, but the smaller ones will come back, and go away. Give it about a month and you're face will be rid of acne........it WILL come back after a while though

Cons:

Dry fast, itchy and sometimes irritating.

It will eventuality work for you...might work in a week, maybe a month, but it works.

Pros:

Reduces size and number of pimples
Reducses redness
Pretty consistent

Cons:

Makes your skin REALLY dry
Doesn't work well on small bumps (only large pimples)
Smells pretty bad

It's totally worth it but you have to be careful if you have sensitive skin. I know I can't use it in the summer because the sun makes your skin really irritated and it peels A LOT if you are using this product.

Pros:

clears face pretty well

Cons:

drys out skin. not a large amount in bottle. only works on mild acne. dont stay out in sun to long (will burn)

if you dont have bad acne go for it! it has helped me. put it on before you go t bed & in the morning put loton on face because if you let your face become too dry it starts to hurt! if using product dont stay in sun light because you will get burnt

Pros:

It works pretty well, made my skin smoother and reduced my outbreaks.

Cons:

Made my skin very dry and made me very sensitive to the sun.

It is a little more than I like to pay every month but it does the job.

Pros:

Clears up large pimples & small bumps.
Decreases redness.
Works quickly.

Cons:

Slightly dries out skin.

This is a great product! By the third day i noticed serious results. The little red bumps on my forehead that have plagued me for over a year finally began to disappear. Now, they are almost completely gone! This product worked even better on a large pimple that had appeared. It was reduced overnight and gone within the day. I have never used a product like this and I strongly recommend it! Just beware of the flakes you will get if you apply too much - just put on a good moisturizer and you will be fine.

Pros:

It works and works fairly quickly.

Cons:

Dry skin, Peeling, Redness, Bleaches towels and clothing. Eventual resistance?

I used Benzaclin for over 5 years. It worked like magic until this last year. Initially, I went from moderate to severe inflammatory acne to pretty much flawless skin. Over the years, I moved a few times and tried to go off the medication each time I moved, but I would start breaking out and once I restarted Benzaclin my acne went away. Unfortunately, over the last year it has been less effective and I would get large inflammatory scarring lesions so I have switched medications. When I was used Benzaclin I was also using Cetaphil cleanser and Cetaphil daily facial mositurizer.

Pros:

I've had acne for over a decade. Benzaclin, if you use it, works pretty well. I hasn't cured my acne, but when I put it on twice daily it seem to make it clear up for the most part. I recommend it if you can live with the cons.

Cons:

*It bleaches towels, collars, pillows, etc. If I put it on my neck and then sweat or get wet somehow, it bleeds onto my clothes and has altered or almost ruined a lot of my non-white shirts. I hate that about this product.

It is effective if used correctly and regularly. No acne medicine is a magic bullet, so it really comes down to finding what works for you and living with the cons of the product (dry skins, peeling, irritation, expense, etc.). I like this product except for the bleaching. It is very annoying and has ruined a number of my shirts, towels, and pillows (much to the shagrin of my lovely wife).

Pros:

This stuff basically got rid of all my major breakouts. I do experience a few random, but tiny, pimples every now and then, but other than that all the obvious ones are gone, saving me from so many scarring possibilities.

Cons:

It doesn't get rid of actualy SCARS. Red marks are still there. Makes the skin really PALE... I do not like this because it makes me look kind of sick. Also bleaches fabrics.

I think it has made a huge difference, and it is the best I've used so far. I have tried Pro-activ, all the drug store products (neutrogena, clean and clear, oxy, clearisil.. etc) and this is the best product I have tried. When it comes to dryness, alll you need to do is use a lotion along with it, and it's completely fine. I've only used it for 3 months now, and will continue for another 3 months. I really don't like that it makes me pale. If you do not mind being pale, then it is definately perfect for you. Also, if you have insurance it's really worth it.

Pros:

It works, and it works quickly! I have used everything, and nothing has been able to clear up the blackheads on my nose. Benzaclin obliterated the blackheads on my nose in less than a week! It also works wonders for acne, of course!

Cons:

It made my skin itch really badly the first week that I began using it. It's very drying, but again, I only noticed the really bad drying for the first week. It's expensive! It has benzoyl peroxide in it, so of course it will probably stain clothes.

I have tried everything. I have tried home remedies, antibiotics, salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide face-washes, pads, scrubs and face-masks! But nothing I have ever used has worked as well as Benzaclin. Benzaclin is the swiss army knife of all acne medications. Pimples? Gone! Blackheads? History! Benzaclin is the closest that we have come to a cure for acne. It's expensive, but it is absolutely worth it! The best combination that I have found is to use an exfoliating facial scrub before applying the Benzaclin (St. Ives Apricot Scrub, for example) and of course to take some sort of oral antibiotic. Again, it's expensive. I'm not sure if it's worth $100+ for someone just getting by, but if you have insurance and can get it for $50 or less -- do it!
