Pros:

It works really well on acne

Cons:

It did dry my skin out but I stopped using it for a day or two and dryness went away.

I have mild acne and always had a problem and never went to see a dermatologist and when I did I got a free sample of benzaclin and I tried and It cleared up my breakout over nite this is the best stuff works well but havent had any of the other side effects like burning or anything else people have been claiming. But use it sparingly you only need to use a little and it goes a long way!The dermatologist told me not even to get the prescription filled cause I got a free sample and she said it will go along way.

Pros:

dries up pimples relatively quickly

Cons:

dries up skin relatively quickly too! lotion also helps, but be careful with what you pick. i recomend just using an oil-free, noncomodegenic sunscreen of at least spf 20 (this will help heal/prevent post-acne discolorations).

This is about the 9th week that i've been using this. so far its worked pretty well. i'd say I had semi-severe acne (no blackheads,a few small patches of bumpy whiteheads, and zits that were sore and sensitive to touch--not so many white-capped puss-forming ones). It was extremely discouraging because last year, I was using proactiv and never had any zits (skin was amazing and constantly glowing on the system). Then summer rolled around and I decided not to use it anymore. I went to a dermatologist to see if he'd prescribe me something for my mild to nonexistant acne (just in case), which he did. Used differin for about 3 months and over the course of that period my skin just got more and more painful pimples. My skin has never been the same. Tried proactiv again, didnt work; tried a regimine: BP 10% wash, BP 5% lotion all over...helped but barely. Even took doryx (pill for moderate-severe acne)..nothing. Benzaclin has helped tremendously tho, altho scars are still present. BE PATIENT.

Pros:

gets rid of whiteheads fast, isn't uncomfortable, and works pretty fast

Cons:

dries the skin a bit and can get itchy

I havn't been on the product for very long, just over a week, however i have cleared up some areas of my face really well and others are taking a bit longer to do so. it does dry the skin a bit but i use a moisturizing face wash that takes care of it, i really work the cream into my face adn it seems to do the job, i'll update in a couple weeks to sese the longer effects of the product

Pros:

It seems like it cleared up my face.

Cons:

I have terribly red skin that burns, itches and tingles. it feels like i have a second degree burn on my face. my dermotologist told me that if my skin got too dry i should use a moisturizer that you can buy at any drugstore called complex 15 facia

i am only on it for two days now and i dont see any change. but i will stick to the regimen and with the help of G-d it will clear up.

Pros:

clears up skin quickly and efffectivly

Cons:

clears up skin only temporaly, burns and swells up face i swear i looked liked an alieen not human . But next day hardly any more pimples!

you suffer with swelling and redness for a clear face immeadiately . However you must reapply constantly in order to keep it clear.

Pros:

I saw results overnight, and I love immediate gratification.

Cons:

After the initial clear up, I'm breaking out. I think it's bringing everything to the surface, and the bumps are really dry. It's difficult for make up wearers...isn't everything?

It seems to be working better than most other treatments, but like all things, it's taking time, and patience. I don't have insurance, but my derm gave me a few sample jars, and i didn't have to pay for this medication at all. Can't beat free!
