Pros:

I saw improvements the first few days, after that--nothing.

Cons:

I've been using it for 3 weeks and so far my skin has only gotten worse. My face is really dry and very red. It doesn't work very well with scars...it only seems to amplify there visibility.

So I was prescribed Duac 3 weeks ago by my Derm, I use it at night with Tazorac in the morning. During the first few days it seemed like my face was getting better but within the past 2 weeks it has been horrible...probably worse than it has ever been. I'm going to stick it out for a couple more weeks because I know that sometimes it gets bad before it gets better and I'm trying to have a lot of faith in this product (nothing has ever worked for me and I'm hoping this does). I just hope I see great results like everyone else has...wish me luck...

Pros:

Gets rid of all pimples quickly, really reduces redness

Cons:

None

This is the only product I've used that has cleared all my pimples and not irritated my skin. I have eczema so almost all pimple products make my skin dry and flaky, but this one doesnt and my acne is almost completely gone! Definitely recommended.

Pros:

Helps clear acne.
Doesn't dry me out as much as other topicals

Cons:

leaves behind a residue if too much is put on so use sparingly.

I have seen great results after using this product. Keeps my acne under control.

Pros:

1. tiny blackheads, moderate acne, and tiny pimples scattered like a rash have begun to clear up so far.
2. thin topical film/ easy to apply, settles immediately

Cons:

1. stings if applied to sores, open face wounds, popped pimples
2. leaves face stiff, and dry with peeling skin
3. does not help naturally oily skin

buy it, try it out. may work differently for different people with different skin types (oily, dry, etc.). use with lotion. would recommend. definitely worth a try. better than Duac, Differin, Evoclin (Clindamycin Phosphate) i think.

Pros:

It's the best topical acne treatment that I've ever used. (And I've tried a lot). Only need to apply once daily. Got rid of my pimples fast and stopped or minimised new ones coming through.

Cons:

A little expensive - it's not subsidised in NZ. Also, you can't use it for more than a couple of months otherwise the bacteria becomes resistant.

I would definitely recommend this if you have moderate acne and the bp route hasn't worked for you.

Pros:

works well for a while

Cons:

seemed to stop working after about a year

I still don't have as much acne as before I started, but I think that my skin got used to it after a while.

Pros:

Dries out oily skin FAST! This is the best acne treatment that I've used. I've seen results over-night when I've gotten break-outs.

Cons:

If you use too much, it makes your skin dry and flaky

Just remember to exfoliate daily, and that a little goes a long way with this cream :) On my old insurance plan it only cost me $5.00, now it's costs me $25.00 on my new plan. One container usually lasts me 6-8 weeks.

Pros:

It WORKS! And it works FAST! I've seen results already in the texture of my skin, I've had no new breakouts, and my acne is clearing up.... and it's only been 5 DAYS!

Cons:

You eventually build up an immunity to the antibiotic, and it will stop working. For me it stopped working after two years (see below). Also, it can be costly if your insurance doesn't cover it.

I started getting moderately bad acne when I was 15. Benzaclin was the first thing my dermatologist put me on, and it was amazing! My face cleared up so quickly, and I only got an occasional, small pimple around my period the whole 2 years I was on it. But after 2 years, it just stopped working and my face started to break out again.... so for another 2 years i tried EVERYTHING but nothing got my face clear again. Now my dermatologist just put me back on benzaclin, and it seems to be working. Hopefully this time around it will work longer..

Pros:

Clears up acne and whiteheads very fast.

Cons:

Dry's skin up, and doesn't really get rid of blackheads(but I don't think its supposed to do that, anyway...)

It works well, very well. Got rid of spot acne within a few days, or even a couple hours. Sometimes it doesn't fix some pimples or whiteheads, and its very annoying. I've used it for about a month, and its been working EXTREMELY well. Just not on everything. Oh, and for me it bleaches nothing.
