Pros:

It seems to have worked. Inexpensive with insurance. Though I only use it nightly

Cons:

drying, also may be becase of stress or my period but I still get a few every now and then. I'm also starting to get close to my expiry date. Here's hoping for the best!

Seems awesome enough (knock on wood) I use right now, LUSH products...to clean and moisturize, which haven't really helped, I think a good cleanser etc may be key...diet too perhaps?

Pros:

it does clear up acne fast!

Cons:

HOWEVER it does dry up skin... also, ive been using it for 6 months and stopped using it for just 3 weeks and ALL MY ACNE CAME BACK RIGHT AWAy all over my forehead and cheeks it was horrible! so use it consistently or else it WILL RETURN.

use it. it works. But do not stop unless you have a top-notch cleanser or some othe rproduct that will for sure prevent acne because your acne WILL return whether you believe this or not and it will come back even WORST. so USE IT, but don't stop !

Pros:

Clears up acne well

Cons:

Need to refrigerate always or it goes bad; expensive; causes redness of face; need to use consistently

I have used this product off and on for a year. The first 6 months, I used it consistently and it took about 2 months to really clear my skin out (that is just how long it takes for new skin to replace old skin) but the results were great the next 4 months and the acne was a distance memory. Then I lost my job, didn't have insurance, and decided to not spend $200 on the medication. The acne reappeared in about a month. I am finally back on it and know what to expect. The other frustrating thing is that you cannot miss even a day because in about 2-3 weeks, you'll see the pimple appear as punishment for that missed day. Also has to be refrigerated, despite what the pharmacist says, or it will go bad within 1-2 months and you may as well begin from scratch.

Pros:

Strong acne medication. Really helped to prevent and remove acne on my face. Also improved the acne on my back. Doesn't have to be used everyday to achieve great results on the face,

Cons:

Has to be lefty in the fridge. Causes some dryness and peeling. Makes no difference to black heads/white heads.

Good product and not too expensive. However, it doesn't really seem to do much to black heads/white heads. It does seem to prevent acne and treat it really well on the face. However, my back only changed a bit, not really dramatically.

Pros:

My acne started to fade fairly quickly and clear up. My confidence started to come back.

Cons:

After a few moths of usage, certain pimples would go away and come back a few weeks later. That is still happening, but my acne looks much better. My face also started to dry out.

Certain acne spots would fade for a while and then start to come back and then fade away again, like a routine. The pimple may of gone away and came back again, but whenever it came back it was not as big or as severe as it was before. My face may have dried out when using BenzaClin but it was easily solved by using moisturizer. Moisturizer should be applied right after putting on the product, or the morning after using the product (if using BenzaClin only at night.).

Pros:

Easy to apply, clears up acne quickly and effectively, prevents breakouts

Cons:

Dries skin, stopped working after a period of time

I've been using this product for about 5 years, and when I first got it, it worked wonders. It cleared up my acne really well and kept it that way for a long while. Eventually though, the drying and skin tightening effects of the product stopped occurring, and acne began to reappear. Yet when I stopped using this product for a month hiatus, my breakouts got even worse. Benzaclin's effectiveness started strong and gradually faded, but overall prevented major breakouts.

Pros:

Clears spots very quickly, keeping skin clear when used regularly, and has been the only product to do so.

Cons:

Sometimes aggravates my eyes, making them puffy/swollen and red. I don't put it anywhere near my eyes though somehow this can still happen. Towels and some clothes have bleached patches.

Duac works! I've had mild to sever acne since 2001 and now I'm approaching 30 I've finally found a product that works that doesn't make me sick or emotionally unbalanced. I've had roaccutane twice, used dianette so many times I can't remember and this is the first product to consistently work, though it does dry out my skin sometimes. When first using it burned my skin so that it was red and scaly, but I was then advised to slowly build up my tolerance to it, starting with half an hour and very gradually increasing the time. My skin now tolerates it over night though when it starts to get too dry I'll use the product less often.

Pros:

Worked well, have been using on and off for a few years. Gel is clear so it can be used during the day.

Cons:

Has the ability to badly 'burn' the skin, causing skin to peel and be extremely red and sore for days, especially around mouth and cheeks. Because of this I only use it for a short while until acne begins to clear, then stop.

I was told to use it in the mornings and then differin at night. I find it works quite slowly but eventually the skin clears and stays clear for quite a while before it needs to be used again. Needs to be applied VERY sparingly so it doesn't burn - I now only use it on my forehead and have never had burning problems with it. The tube I was given (25g) has lasted me aaaaaages.
