Pros:

it really works, cleared up my face in a few weeks

Cons:

some dryness, have to wait an hour before applying moisturizer and makeup.

i love it. it's the only thing that's ever worked for me. i spent a lot of money on over the counter stuff and even tried proactiv - that failed miserably. it made a slight improvement but if you even stop using it your whole face breaks out right away! benzaclin saved my life. too bad i didn't use it before i got all these shallow scars and red marks on my face =( like i said, the only thing that really was a con was that you had to wait one to two hours before you can apply lotion and makeup. so i always had to wake up two hours earlier in the morning than i had to just to get ready. but i can live with that if it means my face will be smooth.

Pros:

Clears up blemishes quickly! Small ones, big ones, it really does work.

Cons:

It bleaches everything. Clothing, Pillow cases, towels. Everything becomes discoloured. And it does dry out skin a little.

Awesome stuff, it's slowly losing an effect on my skin though.

Pros:

I think I've tried most over the counter treamtments available, yet this is the only one that works. Only have to apply once a day.

Cons:

None -
I've not experienced any dryness as mentioned in some other comments.

Highly Recommend this product if you have stubborn skin - just need to use it 1 time a day.

Pros:

Clears up pimples very quickly..within a few days for me

Cons:

dry skin and hard to wear make up because the make up just tends to flake off in the dry spots and doesnt look very good.. espcecially if your out and about..

works really well and would recomend it. Was prescribed to me by my doctor months ago and was using it. cleared up my acne quite well aside from the dryness but thats no problem just get a good cream.. i use ponds dry skin cream. I went to a Arbonne party..kind of like a PartyLite party except for skin care and the rep. girl told me to stop using benzaclin and recommnended a better product..Arbonne Clear Advantage which was 5x more expensive then benzaclin which i dont have to pay for because im covered under my parents health plan.. my face just got worse after I went off the benzaclin so now im back on it and have already noticed a change just within a day or two. bottom line: benzaclin works.. arbonne clear advantage doesnt.

Pros:

reduces your pimples.. and sometimes prevent future breakouts...

Cons:

does leave a scar after d pimple is gone... (i think its natural)

ive been using these for about a month now... before, i really do have acne breakouts... 3 or 4 pus filled acne on my skin.. my skin really looks terrible!... i tried cetaphil as my facial wash cause i think i get more pimples from irritation.. i just wash with warm water... then i put duac on my pimples @ night and sleep... u can see d difference after a week.. however some pimples leave scars which i think is natural.. now im trying to use lemon juice.. it says here on the forum that it fades acne markks... il just post something if it does fades my acne marks..!

Pros:

Cleared up current acne. Have not had a breakout in about 5 months

Cons:

Facial Redness as well as Dryness

Great product! Cleared me up in addition to using: Differin .3% and Nicomide (NIC750). Made my skin alot more sensitive. Get sunburnt alot easier. Dryish skin (Cured by good moisurizer). Although it does have it's minor side effects. It's an excellent product and has helped my skin alot. I would recommend everyone trying out.

Pros:

Worked quick. I use at night and use retisol-a in the morn.also switched bc pills to jasmine prescribed in Oct. family & friends have noticed drastic diff.

Cons:

Have always had beautiful skin and been a tanner. Now my face is very red and my neck & chest are white. I use an extremely small amount.

26 years old, and never had a problem with acne. Summer of 07 went through extreme stress and my hair fell out & developed severe acne literally overnight. I have been using benzaclin since October at night and retisol-a in the morning. The combination seems to be making a big difference according to friends, family. I am still having a hard time dealing with this though. I am scared Ill have to use this forever. but I will do anything to not have the awful face I had 3 mths ago!!!!

Pros:

Cleared me up in as little as 6 weeks

Cons:

Extremely drying, even caused premature wrinkles! Clears you up, but does not give you a "glow".. then again, that just might be too much to ask.

Combined it with a non-comodegenic moistuizer and it worked to make the wrinkles disappear. Combined with retinoid/glycolic therapy and in 2 months, I'm completely acne free. Just have to deal with the scars now.
