Pros:

i like the consistency, somewhat gel-like

Cons:

over drying
causes severe redness
stinging

Personally, I didn't like this stuff. My Dr prescribed me it and retin-a. This stuff stung like crazy for me! I think the 5% bp is too much for my skin maybe? And it was not because of the retin-a, because i did a bit of a test and used only benzaclin for the 1st month and i couldn't handle the stinging(maybe im a wuss), but it never subsided until i wiped it off. Very irritating! So anyways, i've heard great things about this stuff, but for me personally didn't work. (hence the no recommendation) everyones skin is different! retin-a did wonders tho if interested :)

Pros:

-Doesn't burn that much
-absorbs into skin well
-does help acne a little

Cons:

-helps acne, but barely. I've been using it for 1 month and a half and i've only seen very minor improvement.

I think it's not worth the time.. It works a little, but so do a LOT of creams. You might as well look for other options because, at least for me, it didn't do much more than a regular benzoyl peroxide treatment. If for some reason it magically starts working for me then I will re-post, but as of now, I've seen little to very little improvement.

Pros:

Cleared up my skin completely with teh help of Retin-A!!!

Cons:

It worked great i saw results in a month because i was using it with retin A but it surely cleared out my skin like no other product did.Worth the try and the only product that did its job!

Pros:

starts improving fast, easy to apply not time consuming, acne gradually goes away if consisten

Cons:

pealing in certian areas as well as burning ( almost sun burnt) dry all over but not to bad with some moisturizer

its a good product if you stick with it while using it consistently however i find it will not remove 100% of my hormonal acne but has still cleared it up considerably and is constantly getting better

Pros:

affordable with my insurance, get a lot of product

Cons:

made skin worse but never improved it, bleached fabrics

i used this product for three months. it made whiteheads and comedones out of all my pores (yes, ALL my pores! pores that NEVER broke out) but my skin never improved. one month after i stopped using it, i've seen no improvement. my skin has never looked so bad. use with caution.

Pros:

Cleared up my skin in just a few days!

Cons:

Turned a small, barely-there whitehead into a huge cyst, but eventually dried it out.

I've had pretty severe acne for the last 9 years. I've tried every over-the-counter treatment and have a few different prescriptions, and this has been the best treatment I've found. It quickly dries up zits and has begun to clear up all of the acne on my chin. I use a great moisturizer every day, and that helps with the drying. I only use Benzaclin at night to prevent overdrying. It's a bit expensive, but you can print off a rebate on the Benzaclin website!

Pros:

it didnt dry out my skin excessively, it slows the occurence of acne to the point where it just goes away (:
free for me because my dermatologist keeps giving me free samples LOL. :D

Cons:

careful if you put in on your back; it can bleach your clothes. my skin got a tad flaky, nothing that bad really. and be persistent, it'll be a few weeks till you really see improvement.

my acne used to be BAD, i had i think it's either nodular or cystic acne, like i would have huge lumps under my skin all over my cheeks, i would hide literally. i have been using this for 1-2 months, my acne is alottttt less now, though i have quite the scarring/inflammation :( it is a good medication; i have very oily skin so it basically normalized that part. dried it a little, but i'm down with that. this is not a medication that gives you fast results; it'll be a few weeks until the acne starts to diminish, it will seem like the acne occurence is slowing down, you are getting less pimples, then the acne just almost goes away completely, except for the occasional bump or two. overall, it's a pretty good cream (: oh and i'm using some home remedies and taking oral medicine as well.

Pros:

gets rid of pimples and keeps the away

Cons:

drys out skin sometimes

it really works, but dont stop using it bc the pimples will come back. even if you stop for one night.

Pros:

clears acne if used consistently.
Made my skin a little less bumpy
a little goes a long way

Cons:

A bit drying

I have used this for a year and i think its okay. I still have acne and im not clear but im to scared to switch to anything else so i will stay with it.

Pros:

Works extremly fast...only for about 6 months then it wears off.

Cons:

flakey skin, alittle redness

if used continually then you will see major improvements. Almost all acne is gone with just a little redness left. I stopped using after 6 months beause it didn't seem to work as well...then began about a month later and it worked great again!
