Pros:

Antibacterial properties

Cons:

Too harsh for skin

The wash was way too harsh for my skin. It made it so dry it was tight and my skin over-produced oil to moisturize itself. I have stopped using it. I actually have been more clear not washing my face.

Pros:

Excellent! I had horrible acne only on my forehead and this soap has cleared up my skin in about one week. Almost all whiteheads are gone. I no longer have cystic acne, etc. It is truly great.

Cons:

Smells horrible, but you get use to it overtime.

Thankfully I have insurance and it pays a good portion of the price. However, if I didn't I would still get this product. I use this in conjunction with Differin (just on the forehead area) and use La Roche-Posay's Rosaliac moisturizer, which eliminates all the red in my face. Great combo for those who have moderate acne.

Pros:

Works really well and isn't as harsh as many products.

Cons:

Slightly hard to rub in cream

Definitely recommend. I was using Retin A products which are so drying. This is such an improvement.

Pros:

It's 100% effective. When I first started going to the dermatologist for my acne, she prescribed several products. This is the only one I have to use now to upkeep my clear skin. With my insurance, I pay $10 for a 12oz bottle that lasts 10 weeks.

Cons:

It drys the skin a little but all that I needed was a pea-sized amount of an over-the-counter face cream to combat that.

It works and I would recommend it to anyone! I started using it three months ago after years of acne and I haven't had a breakout in at least 6 weeks...not one pimple!

Pros:

Totally cleared up my BAD acne.

Cons:

The generic isn't that great.

I used this my freshman year of highschol when my acne was real bad and within a few weeks it was all cleared! My grandmother had the prescription for her rosacea, but she said it was suppossed to help acne too and gave her extra bottles to me. It worked great, but now she uses something else and I don't get the prescription and the generic I don't think is very good although it is kind of old.

Pros:

Has helped me tremendously, and my face is now clear (knock on wood).

Cons:

Like some have said the smell. You notice it at first but get use to it and forget about it after a short time using it. Also the price if you don’t have insurance. I think I pay around $8-$10 so I’m not sure how much it can be without insuran

Hi, I have gone from Accutane, high doses of Minocycline, and Differin Cream, to this. I can't recommend this product enough. While Accutane and Minocyline helped, (especially Accutane) you can't use them forever. This product, for me, works. I use it once in the morning and apply Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer since it can be a little drying, but nothing horrible. At night I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser with Differin Cream. I still use Differin Cream since it's easy on my face and think that it still helps my skin. I emphasize the Cream since the Gel would probably be too rough for my face. I also take Minocycline dose once every 3 days since I'm working my way off of it. Also don't eat right before you go to bed. Let it digest. I has helped me as well. I'm not saying this will work for you, but coming from someone who has suffered from acne for years and had only temporary solutions, I strongly recommend that you try this product for a few week

Pros:

Very good for sensitive skin and works almost instantly. I could feel my skin getting better the first time I used it.

Cons:

The smell is bothersome, but its worth it.

It's a very good product and I'd recommend it for sure. It really does work.

Pros:

I have sensitive skin and can usually use Clenia wash without irritation. With regular use, helps with facial redness and also, to some degree, with acne. Smells better than many other sulfur products.

Cons:

It doesn't really smell great, but I don't really mind it, either; it doesn't smell terrible. Many pharmacies don't regularly have this in stock so you may have to wait a couple of days to get it. Must be used with other meds for mod-severe acne.

If you can tolerate sulfonamides and sulfur, Clenia wash may be a good choice for a medicated facial soap, as part of an overall treatment regimen for acne and/or acne rosacea, for sensitive, acne prone skin that is easily irritated by benzoyl peroxide or acids. Contrary to the product description, I have never been able to get this product to foam much at all. I can only speak from my experience, but Clenia helped significantly with my facial redness and to some degree helped with my acne. The improvement of my skin's redness is significant enough that I would use Clenia even if that were the only thing it did. I had pretty severe cystic acne in the past and the Clenia wash alone is not enough to keep my skin clear from acne;I must use it with other meds. But I really love that the Clenia is gentle enough to use along with other topicals and also helps some with my acne. If I could tolerate other medicated washes, I might switch to something cheaper. But I like

Pros:

Works great. Makes skin feel silky smooth especially if used after shaving.

Cons:

Might take a couple day to see results.

I was using peroxide, but it didnt make my skin feel right. Any product that can dye my towels and sheets just isnt for me. Started using this with monodox and my skin cleared up within a week. I had moderate acne, but I can already see results as girls have been more flirty. Also using finacea.
