Pros:

Skin felt softer

Cons:

Dryness

This did not improve my acne at all, and I used it as both a cleanser and a mask. I was disappointed because I had a lot of luck the first time I tried the regimen, so I thought this would work as well. After a few weeks, I discontinued use. My skin felt dry and tight. I know a few people who have had good results from it, though.

Pros:

- Works really nicely
- Easy to use in the shower
- Cheap and lasts a long time

Cons:

- Turns my face red for up to a half hour after use
- Dries face
- Painful burning while using mask

Benzoyl Peroxide products are known for drying out skin, but I'm still not a fan of the redness that a lot of people seem to be experiencing directly after the use of this product. I know it's a sideffect, but it's still upsetting. A little bit of lotion (I use Curel) helps to clean up the redness and the dryness though. Another thing that I am weary about is that I cannot leave this prodcut on for more than 60 seconds. The pain is overwhelming adn it stings. I consider this an issue, but at the same time I still feel like this product is making a differance in my skin. Would I recommend it? Sure. Just be careful and make sure you don't use it immediantly before going out as your face could turn red like other people have mentioned! Also make sure you have a lotion that you can use on your face for afterwards. I would NOT recommend using this product on a daily basis. I use this product about every two weeks when I feel a breakout coming. I use Clean and Clear Morning Burst da

Pros:

Clears up acne, refreshes skin, can be used as both a mask & cleanser.

Cons:

None.

I have had moderate acne since I was in my early teens (I'm 23 now) and I have used countless creams, face washes, masks, prescriptions, etc but this stuff is the ONLY stuff that has cleared my face up. I noticed my skin clearing up just days after using it.. I'm almost done with my first bottle and my skin is still incredibly clear. The consistency is better used fas a mask rather than a cleanser.I just use it as a mask for 5 minutes every night/sometimes every other night. I am in love with this stuff!

Pros:

Lessens sizes of pimples, clearer and smoother skin, lessens blackheads in one wash

Cons:

drys skin

Effective and safe. It doesn't irritate skin that much. It's a great cleanser and mask and it is effective in removing pimples and blackheads as well as oil and dirt.

Pros:

Works better than any other benzoyl peroxide cream, affordable, and lasts a long time!

Cons:

face feels dry and stiff afterward - I use neutrogena oil-free or AHA moisturizer.

AMAZING! First off, for me it works excellent as a mask but not as an everyday cleanser. I found that using it every day either leaves me too dry, or my skin gets used to it and I don't see as much effectiveness. This works way better than regular benzoyl peroxide cream, and definitely better than the Proactiv one. It works better than any clay mask or other masks I have tried, and the results are pretty instant. I use it after a gentle cleanser 3-4 times a week, or every other day, and follow up with neutrogena AHA moisturizer. The days I don't use it, I just use any non-BP or Salyic Acid cleanser and follow up with neutrogena oil-free moisturizer. This is the best method I've found with over-the counter products, though I have not tried the acne.org regimen. I think it's pretty similar though...

Pros:

inexpensive, easy to dispense, two in one, no smell

Cons:

tiny scratchy beads in the cream aren't a plus, saw no improvement in acne, gels are better

it's not a BAD product but it didn't do much for me. i guess it would work okay for someone with much milder acne.

Pros:

daily control of acne and oil is good. great as a mask once or twice a week too.

Cons:

a little bit drying but that's the point to reduce oil on the face.

i really like this. i've tried tons of drugstore and high-end cleansers for acne and this one is one of the best! the oil in my t-zone has reduced a ton and my acne isn't as bad as before. i still get a few zits but not that many.

Pros:

Keeps pores clear, works great to control oil and is my only "mask" GREAT overnight SPOT treatment.

Cons:

will bleach hair and clothes if mask gets on them be careful.

I love this in the morning every other day- leave on for about 5 to 10 min and rinse off in shower. Kills the p.acnes all day without bleaching the clothes i wear that day.

Pros:

Very drying in a good way, definitely helps to control oil

Cons:

Hasn't worked as well on clearing up acne, but I haven't been using it for a long time yet so I'm keeping hope

I use it as a mask twice a week and I think it works great. It does help some on breakouts and definitely helps to control oil. To everyone on here who says it "BURNS THEIR SKIN OFF," either you have very sensitive skin or you are not using it correctly. Yes, it is a pretty intense "tingling," but if I'm able to withstand it for 5 minutes anyone can. Take time to read the directions. I think this is a great product, definitely worth the money.
