Neutrogena : Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask

I like this particular formulation because of the slightly lower benzoyl peroxide concentration (3.5%) - just as effective but a little less drying and irritating. Also, I like alternating between using as a mask or as a face wash depending on how oily my skin is.

I basically wanted something to work fast. so far im seeing results

Benzoyl Peroxide products are known for drying out skin, but I'm still not a fan of the redness that a lot of people seem to be experiencing directly after the use of this product. I know it's a sideffect, but it's still upsetting. A little bit of lotion (I use Curel) helps to clean up the redness and the dryness though. Another thing that I am weary about is that I cannot leave this prodcut on for more than 60 seconds. The pain is overwhelming adn it stings. I consider this an issue, but at the same time I still feel like this product is making a differance in my skin. Would I recommend it? Sure. Just be careful and make sure you don't use it immediantly before going out as your face could turn red like other people have mentioned! Also make sure you have a lotion that you can use on your face for afterwards. I would NOT recommend using this product on a daily basis. I like this as a cleanser, but not as a mask. It reduces the redness of my pimples. I can't use it as a mask all over my face, but I do mask the pimples I currently have... it does a great job. I will personally not repurchase because I want to try another cleanser, but I am saving up the last bit I have in case I don't like this. This doesn't dry my skin like salicylic acid seems to (yeah, my skin is weird)

I use this product twice a day for 10 to 15 min as a mask. The package says dont use more than 3x's per week but I do anyway. It works. My skin is much more clear now than a month ago when I started using it. Your face may get red in the beginning but trust me you will see results if you just stick it out. I also use a Benzol Peroxide cream after i wash off the mask at night when i sleep. that makes a big diffference too! For like 7 dollars this product is worth it.

Worked so well for me! Best product for me out there. I follow it up with Neutrogena Facial Toner and Complex 15 moisturizer. In fact, I'm out of all and I'm breaking out and it's scaring the HELL out of me.

ok so like i use this as a mask. what i do is i use it as NIGHT and like i put it on all over my face and i leave it on for about five minutes. i deff. feel it burnningg/tingle. [: i wash it off and i will admit, it makes my face pretty DARN RED! but thats ok because, duh, it just totally like dried up my skin. so after i use it i feel my skin is very dry so i use mosterizer. the next morning my skin feel SUPER SOFFTT and SUPER FLAWLESSS. my skin has NEVER looked or felt this greatt. i DEFFFFF. recomend using it! [: but as everyone else has said, IT DRIES UP YOUR SKIN! which in theory, is a good thing cause it controls the oil. [: so just use a mosturizer with it and make sure to use it at night and your skin will look GREAT in NO TIME! [:

Ive used this product on and off for over a year now and i always seem to go back to it. A lot of people have a reaction to this or any other bp based cleanser because they r sensitive to to bp not because the product does not work. I use it twice a day, morning and night and have seen great results. Washing my face is the very last step in my shower routine that way my pores have a bit of time to open with the steam. I pour about a nickel size amount and then massage it to my face for about 2 mins. I then rinse it off and while the water is hitting my face i rub off any of the cleanser that may be left on my face. Of course this is not the only thing i use in my fight against acne but it is a product i cannot be without.

I have had moderate acne since I was in my early teens (I'm 23 now) and I have used countless creams, face washes, masks, prescriptions, etc but this stuff is the ONLY stuff that has cleared my face up. I noticed my skin clearing up just days after using it.. I'm almost done with my first bottle and my skin is still incredibly clear. The consistency is better used fas a mask rather than a cleanser.I just use it as a mask for 5 minutes every night/sometimes every other night. I am in love with this stuff!

so it works really well as a MASK....its worth the price, it tingles your skin when you apply, smells a bit like toothpaste to me. dries up skin, so be sure to use a good natural conditioner like rose water or aloe vera gel.......something light and not oily. spread out its use as a mask for best results, so i use M and F. works really well.......
