Carley's : Clear and Smooth Skin Treatment

I am 39 years old and have hormonal acne. I have used every type of cleanser from the drug stores as well as avon products and even proactiv. This by far, is the best stuff I've ever used. The soap leaves my skin feeling clean, not greasy. The acne treatment leaves my skin feeling refreshed and totally clean. If I feel a breakout starting, I scrub with the treatment and by morning it is gone. The daytime moisturizer is awesome. I put this on every morning and it immediately soaks in and leaves my skin feeling soft, never greasy. I have been using this product for years and I reorder every 4 months. I have been telling all my friends about Carlys clear and smooth and am finding this works for them as well when nothing else would. They also send natural soap and samples of other products with the orders. The soap is wonderful for shaving legs and for washing hair! Recently I tried a sample of their new cream for scars and I saw incredible differences overnight. Not only is my acne gone now but my scars too. I never thought I would see the day I didn't have to wear any makeup! THANK YOU CARLYS!!

First of all, I wrote a review on this website a little over a year ago (you can still find it if you scroll back far enough). I don't get why the "helpfulness score" is negative since I thought I wrote a rather thorough review. Then I did a little search on Google and found that there are some people on this website who declare themselves to be "anti-Carley". I find that to be completely absurd. Perhaps this product did not work for those individuals, which is entirely possible and of course they're entitled to write their own negative reviews of the product. But to give a thumb down to every positive review is simply immature and irresponsible. In any case, now I'll write my actual review. Since I last posted in Sept. 09 (I think...), I tried to switch to Origins' Checks and Balance in the spring and my face was reacting positively to it. I used it for a month thinking that I could finally stop using Clear & Smooth since I hate to have to order it online every time I run out. Another month went by and I started noticing more and more breakouts on my cheeks. At first I wasn't too worried but by the end of the summer they became pustules that left scars all over my face except for my forehead. It was like high school and early college all over again. I had no choice but to switch back to Clear & Smooth once again and it took a few weeks to bring the acne under control. It's been about 4 months since I restarted the regimen and there's been no major breakouts. A whitehead here and there but usually not noticeable. To be honest I still use Origins' cleanser once in a while when I am traveling for a weekend and don't want to bring my Clear & Smooth with me and my face handles it okay. I think I just can't use that continuously for weeks... So the bottom line is Clear & Smooth is not for everyone. From what I read in some reviews it can make your acne ever worse than ever. However, for some, like myself, this product is a savior.

I tell anyone who will listen how great Carley's is. I have "eyelid eczema" and it causes redness, itching, peeling, oozing, blister-like patches. I used to use prescription cortisone ointment every single night on my eyes. Two years ago I switched to Carleys. Within 2 weeks I was getting off the cortisone. I now use the cortisone maybe once every three weeks, if even. The natural ingredients have healed my eyelids! I have cut the cortisone usage by about 95%. That alone won me over. But the rest of my face is so much better--soft, clear, good tone. I use the Wild Rose Anti-Aging Cream & it really does soften the crowsfeet. I feel really good about these products.

This is the best acne control products I have ever tried and I have tried lots of different products. I have sensitive skin so most of the products I have tried have dried out my skin, broke out worse or caused more problems. Not with Carley's Clear and Smooth. I also suggest there mineral makeup. works great and there is a shade for everyone.

I've had acne since I was 12 or 13. Always tried everything new that was on the market. Mary Kay, ProActive, Clearasil, Neutrogena, Avon, everything. Nothing worked, just burned my skin with chemicals and left me more unhappy than before and broke! I found Carley's on Ebay and thought what the heck. Reviews were more positive than negative and I've never looked back. I know everyone's skin is different and have had one friend that could not use their products, but their stuff is incredible for me and my family. They do what they say and say what they do. Steve Wills is very honest in every email (and yes you do received an email with every email sent to them). The honesty about what they put in the products is more than enough reason to purchase them. Wishing they would develop an SLS free shampoo line that is truly SLS free and not disguised SLS products and full of perfume. Bottom line: Try it....what have you got to lose? If you are like I was you've probably tried everything else.

I had only mild acne mostly on my chin which has completely disappeared since using Carley's soap and moisterizers. The biggest surprise for me has been that the soap has cured an excema rash that I couldn't get rid of with prescription medication from my dermatologist. If I stop using the soap, the excema comes back, so I will not be running out of Carley's soap again. Great products, I'm even giving them for Christmas gifts this year!

I am 40 year old adult acne sufferer. I have had adult acne for 8 years and my face has not been completely clear in all that time. I have tried everything from proactive to retin-A, Glytone, clearasil, neutrogena, etc. Carly's really works for me and the soap is great. I also began using a knock off clarisonic brush with the soap after the treatment and that really works the blackheads up on chin and nose.

Ever since I had acne as a teen-ager I have had to wear heavy make-up re-applied several times per day to try to hide the lumps and bumps of on-going adult acne continuing into my 40's. What a difference the scrub (and natural soap) have made for my skin. If I do not use them, I start to break-out. Thankful to have the product for my kids so they do not have to live with acne and can have "clear and smooth" skin.
