Pros:

Gets skin squeaky clean
Body brush attachment is nice

Cons:

Too harsh to use as recommended.
Made my light acne become moderate acne
Expensive!

I was so hopeful that this would change my oily, large pore skin but it made things worse! I used to get the occasional zit before using this. I use Clinique 3 step skin care and never considered my skin to have big problems except for large blackheads on my nose and pores that could be smaller. Clarisonic made me break out, but I was patient and figured this was the "purge" that other reviewers talked about. After months of using the Clarisonic as advised (once a day) more acne popping up, I finally broke down and went and got a professional facial. The woman said my skin was congested and to exfoliate more so then I started scrubbing even more with Clnique 7 Day scrub, at this point I had cut down on using the Clarisonic to every other day...still more acne! My acne led me to this site, I started the regiment two weeks ago and now I have zero acne, my blackheads on my nose are gone and my pores look smaller. I may go back to use the Clarisonic on a bi-weekly basis but not until I've done the regiment for a bit longer. The bristles definitely did not help my skin or acne and it's VERY expensive for a product that doesn't deliver. Definitely not something for someone with acne prone skin, in my opinion and seems to go against the whole point of the regiment. The body brush attachment, however, is very nice. Got rid of the chicken bumps on my arms and it's a nice treat. So far that is its only redeeming quality!

Pros:

Waterproof
Solid construction
Works as advertised

Cons:

Expensive (initial investment)

I love my Clarisonic. I purchased it from Amazon ([link removed]> HEED THE INSTRUCTIONS and gradually introduce the Clarisonic into your routine. I started on the lowest setting, but opted to use it once a day since I manually/physically exfoliate my face on a daily basis (exfoliation gloves) and felt that drying would not be an issue for me. After 2 days my boyfriend pressed the buttons and messed up the settings so I am now using it on a higher setting, but there are no problems so I'm keeping it on that setting. I use it 1-2x a day. Smaller pores and improved texture (i.e.: old acne scars, sun damage), generally brighter complexion, I assume from the improved penetration of my 2.5% BP facial wash. It is not an overnight miracle worker, but like I said, I was able to jump into a pretty vigorous routine right off the bat. I also like the spot therapy on my neck and elbows. So impressed with my Clarisonic, that I went out and bought a Sonicare toothbrus

I purchased the clarisonic mia at sephora for 119.00 and bought the sensitive brush for 25.00 about 2 months ago. I have been using the pure by philosophy cleanser along with it and have been having great results. I only use it at night and just the pure cleanser by itself in the morning. I am very pleased and everyone has been telling me my skin looks great! It is expensive so my sister and I went in half's for it and we just bought out own brushes. So thats always an option if you want it and a roommate or family member would like it too. Overall I would defenity reconmend it to anyone with acne or that just wants to keep their skin bright and clean.

Pros:

Helps if used consistantly

Cons:

Price

I have used this product for about a month. I am 17 and have had stubborn acne that wouldnt go away since i was about 11. I have tried everything. I was hoping this would change that. When i use it every night and morning i see a diffrence.. but if not used consistantly, you wont see results. I did have some intial purging. Due to the extreme exfoliation, scabs are so slow to heal. If you pick at your face and get scabs, this will make the scabs and stuff take longer to heal.

Pros:

My skin feels cleaner and my pores look smaller

Cons:

I worry about keeping brush sanitary. A bit expensive. I got mine on amazon.

I have only tried this twice so far, but already my pores look smaller and my skin feels cleaner. I have thick oil skin, so I really went hard when using it to get in deep after decades of having clogged enlarged pores and scars. I used it with cetaphil face wash. After rinsing the soap off, I applied a topical vitamin C serum that I got from Puritan's pride. I think the mistake some people are doing is using the brush while it is still semi wet from previous use -- if so -- bacteria can grow on it. Bacteria will die when the brush head is dry. Also, people need to wash the brush head after using it so that the dead skin cells and bacteria don't stay on it. That's why I recommend using this once a day or getting two brushes.

Pros:

Cleans like a dream! Easy and quick to use.

Cons:

Could be too harsh for some users. My skin is dry, but I suppose that's better than the oil slick it once was.

My face is the cleanest it has ever been! I no longer have oily skin, however now it has become a bit dry. Almost all blackheads were gone after 1 month. I have not had 1 breakout since using this. Dark spots from old break outs have almost disappeared. My only issue is that now my skin is a tad dry. I use the "delicate" brush head and Purpose facial cleanser.

Pros:

Makes skin feel so soft and tight immediately after use. Minimizes blackheads. Helps absorb your face products better.

Cons:

Expensive

I started using Clarisonic just a few days ago and I can already see the difference in the appearance of my skin. I have oily skin and moderate acne, and I know that it's only been a few days, but it's already helping clear up my skin. I use the Clarisonic twice daily as instructed with a light glycolic cleanser. I follow up with a light moisurizer and my skin just feels GREAT. I just hope it continues to clear up my skin and not cause any breakouts. I highly recommend this product to anyone with problematic skin.

Terrible Customer Service
Purchased the Plus just over 2 years ago. Right around the 2 year mark, the timer stopped working as did the outerbrush stop spinning. Didn't get around to contacting customer service for a couple of months though. However, when I did, they advised they would look into it and let me know if they would honour the warranty as "they are a company that backs there product". I was told that they would get back to me after they contacted management. 3 representatives later and still no answer. Request for a phone call from management, and still waiting on that as well (now about a month and a half)!! A lot of money for a product that stops working after 2 years and no company backing!!!

Waste Of Money
I have owned a Clarisonic for over a year, and my verdict is that it was a waste of money. It has made a minimal improvement to my skin, and the ongoing maintenance (cleaning & replacing brushes) is extremely tedious. I recently bought a Foreo Luna for Men and saw instant results, plus there is zero ongoing maintenance required. Don't bother with the Clarisonic when there are better alternatives available.

Best product I have used in 18+ years - Amazing

Pros:

Makes your skin feel incredible

Cons:

Somewhat expensive

I bought the Mia about 7 weeks ago, and haven't had a single fully formed blemish since I started using it. I simply use it twice a day with the provided brush head and Cetaphil-style cleanser. It makes your face feel incredibly clean, and when I have to wash without it, I can feel a very big difference. If anyone has gone from a regular toothbrush to a Sonicaire-style then they know the feeling I am talking about. It costs about $100 but I would pay multiples of that if necessary. Your mileage may vary, but my experience has been awesome. Good luck!
