Leaves skin glowing
Reduces appearance of Acne scars
Skin feels refreshed
Boosts self-confidence
Tightens skin

Cons:

None

I got the Mia about a week ago and I immediately saw and felt results after my first use. It is definitely worth the money! After having spent hundreds of dollars on different products that didn't have an effect on my skin I decided to spend the money and I am so happy I did. If you use this product correctly (don't over use or press too hard) this product will work for you too. I use mine before bed every other night and switch between the Hydro-cleanser that came with it and Clinique's foaming acne cleanser. I have cystic acne and after the 3rd-4th use I noticed they were starting to get smaller and became less sensitive to the touch. I haven't noticed a decrease in pore size yet but I feel confident that after some time it will happen. If You are hesitant about purchasing this product and are tired of spending tons of money on cleansers, etc. I highly recommend that you buy this, it is more than worth the money and your skin will appreciate it.

Pros:

cleared my skin
skin less oily
products work better
rechargeable
waterproof

Cons:

initially expensive
initial skin purge

I bought the product after seeing it advertised on QVC. I have had acne since I was 13 and now Im 24. Nothing has worked and I didnt want to take medication so this was the last thing to try. Its completely safe for your skin and was recommended for acne prone skin. The first week my skin cleared up a lot and felt really soft, then the purge started. A lot of people seem to give up during this time but SEE THE PURGE OUT. It may last a few weeks, mine lasted about four and it felt like forever. I perservered and it cleared up and my skin has been amazing ever since. Everybody comments on the glow and improvement and other products like your moisturiser sink in much better. Im left with scars now but even they are fading. The last thing to say is IT WILL GET WORSE BEFORE IT GETS BETTER AND IT WILL GET BETTER. Its totally worth the purge so please please please dont give up.

Pros:

Water resistant
Helped acne
Gives you a nice "glow"
Rechargeable

Cons:

None so far

I have been using this product for a few weeks and WOW. My skin looks amazing. Not like supermodel amazing, but the best I have seen it since I can remember. It most definitely reduced pore size, when I didn't even really consider my pores to be all that big. The key is being gentle with it if you suffer from acne. Some people think that the harder or longer you scrub, the better that it will work, this is not true. Use for one minute at night and one minute in the morning, with a gentle product. Not only does it help with whisking away dead skin cells I have another theory on how it brightens the skin. Since the brush has a nice massaging action, it helps the skin on your face get a nice blood flow to it without being abrasive, so nutrients from vitamins that you make take can nourish your facial skin. I am a LMT and I know that facial massage does wonders for skins appearance, but people who are acne prone should not have someone rubbing oils and such on their face. I only bought the MIA which now retails on [link removed] for $119. I also have the Loreal pro X and this is so far above it.

DISINFECT THE BRUSH HEAD WITH ALCOHOL. I have only used the Clarisonic for a few days, so I can't offer a real review but I want to get the above message out there. If you have acne, the bacteria are going to grow on the brush between uses and you will end up spreading it. Dipping the brush head in 70% isopropyl alcohol between uses will prevent this. I hope this helps someone!

Pros:

clearer skin
smooths texture of skin
smooths fine lines
simplifies routine

Cons:

MUST use a gentile cleanser
A couple of weeks of purging
Did i mention that you cannot continue using cleansers meant for acne

I treated myself with the clarisonic pro for my birthday about 6 weeks ago. I was not a fan of any of the cleansers that came with the brush they left my skin either too oily or too dry. I continued to use my usual acne wash with the brush for the first week. My skin broke out terribly sort of like all the potential blemishes came to the surface at the same time. I stuck with the clarisonic as i had read about others who had an experience of purging when they started using the system. While my skin was broken out I was careful to avoid any actively inflamed pimples when using the brush as to avoid spreading bacteria. I would also clean the bristles of the brush with a little alcohol after each use to make sure no bacteria would stick around. Everything changed when i decided that I needed a more gentle cleanser. I had cetaphil cream in mind when i went to the store but then i saw the cetaphil antibacterial bar. It really is the best for using with this brush. It foams nicely which helps keep the brush from being too abrasive. I have now had clear skin for a month after over a decade of dermatologists, peels, acne systems, irritated skin, cystic acne and bad texture. The only thing keeping my from being happy with my skin at this point is the acne scars. I am hoping that they get better with time using the clarisonic, but if they do not I will consider laser treatments.

Pros:

very expensive

Cons:

nothing exceptional, not magical, a good scrub will do the same.

I dont think this is the greatest invention in this century, It doesnt do anything special, I dont see any dramatic results. In my opinion, a good scrub (like clinique deep scrub) is even better to empty my clogged pores and give me that super clean, glowing sensation. It is really expensive with very poor results. I will return my mia clarisonic. Dont expect a great improvement in your skin, its just a moderate exfoliator... thats it.

Pros:

-clears acne
-makes skin softer
-evens out texture

Cons:

-changing brush head every 3 months
-can't be used alone

I have been using the clarisonic for about 5 years now. It has helped clear up my skin quite a bit! Although I must say that it is only one part of my skincare regimen. I found that my skin has become less oily and using a natural cleanser instead of something like Proactiv has been beneficial for my skin. Diet and drinking alot of water generally have helped improve my skins appearance as well. The main point is that a prospective buyer shouldnt expect ONLY the clarisonic to solve their acne problems, there are other important things that will lead to clear skin too.

Pros:

Gives a good clean, skin feels wonderful after, has a self timer, can go in the shower

Cons:

Spread my acne,extremely expensive

I read all the reviews and was extremely excited to received my Clarisonic brush. I started using it twice a day for two weeks and now I have super dry skin and my acne is far worse than I have ever experienced. I'm really sad that it didn't work for me like the other success stories. I assume it just spread bacteria around on my face and severely irritated my skin. I would suggest that you make sure you can send it back if need be. Don't waste your money if it might not work.

Pros:

-Buffs out dirt from pores
-skin is softer and smoother
-clearing acne

Cons:

Price but (go to ebay if the price isn't cost friendly) I have the pro for just $150 retail is like 250

ACNE CLEARS FROM THE INSIDE OUT! THE CLARISONIC IS JUST A SUPPLEMENT TO CURE ACNE...change your diet! it is a challenge but do it! don't discourage others from this product. DRINK WATER AND LEAFY GREEN VEGGIES! ok, now, because the clarisonic does aggitates (not irritate) the dirt out of the pores, get a NATURAL CLEANSER. your face isn't made from benzol peroxide, use natures ingredients. try nubian heritage the have alot of natural different products for cheap! as far as dryness, use coco butter, vitamin e oil or something like that. before the clarisonic i would apply coco butter or vitamin e oil and it would just SIT on my face, now my skins absorbs it WELL! my faceisn't oily it looks fresh =). and take fish oil pills if your acne is irritated...if you use the clarisonic as directed you shouldn't have any problems. I didn't I LOVE IT!
