Mediocre.
I've been using the fragrance-free variant of this cleanser for quite awhile and I'm not impressed. It hasn't appeared to cause any adverse effect and it's entirely non-irritant, but it shows little sign of effectiveness as I still have yet to see improvement. I'm being rather generous with 3 stars, I have very sensitive skin that gets greasy quickly and I've fought with inflammatory acne that's sore to the touch and leaves hyperpigmentation for around 6 years now.... as such, I'm not expecting anything to work miraculously, but I'm looking for something better than this.

a cleanser alone 98% will not clear your acne all it is doing is cleaning your skin it is not treating it.

If you are suffering from inflammatory acne I suggest you review your diet. Nothing topical is going to help if you have food intolerances or a messed up gut.

Did not work for me
Spectro Jel seems to do the trick for a lot of people, so I would probably recommend it. However, it didn't work for me at all. I used it for almost a year, and I was getting really tired of my acne because I would wash my face twice a day, and I'd still get pimples! Especially the giant ones that you don't see and are under the skin. I stopped using Spectro Jel to see if that was the cause. It turns out, I was right. Spectro Jel was the problem. I didn't get any new pimples after that. That could've just happened to me, so don't stop yourself from trying it out at least!

"Great to keep smooth skin, but not so good for acne."
This cleanser hasn't removed any of my acne. Actually after 3 weeks of usage, washing my face in the morning and at night my acne got worse. But with pairing this up with an acne cleanser I have noticed that it helps keep my skin smooth and soft. I wouldn't recommend this if you're having acne problems, but if you're just looking to use a light cleanser and keep your skin soft, this is the right product.

Pros:

Okay price
Not much smell
Very gentle
Didn't make me break out

Cons:

Doesn't remove makeup
Doesn't seem to do much to my skin
Doesn't feel clean after it
Didn't clear my skin

It is extremely gentle, but it doesn't feel clean. I've been using this product for over a year already. I can't seem to find any other products that suits my skin, but I am still on this product. I don't like it much because it doesn't make me feel clean or makes me feel that it changes my skin much. I would recommend it to people that have light acne, because it really doesn't seem to do much to the skin and I don't even feel clean (sometimes I have to wash my face twice to get the fresh skin feeling).

Pros:

-Gets rid of acne fast; one or two days

-Reduces size of pimples, acne fast.

Cons:

-It doesn't have a very appeling smell

-Got rid of the acne/pimples, but it didn't really get rid of the red spots

-I am lazy so I don't really wash my face on the weekends, and when I don't I tend to breakout

I would recomend this product for people who have the time/take the time to wash their face twice a day, and those who don't have sensitive skin - I have sensitive skin. ):

Pros:

It was at a really reasonable price, I liked how easily it dispensed

Cons:

Hated the smell

I don't quite know if it works at all for me, but after I started using it I got a huge zit on my nose

Pros:

Hmmm.....it's cheap?

Cons:

Doesn't clear acne, caused little bumps all around chin. Does not remove make up very well, cleanser dried my skin out quite a bit, moisturizer is too greasy and made me break out, products do not smell good.

It works for some I guess, but I didn't have any luck at all.

Pros:

gentle and cheap

Cons:

it doesn't work anymore

When I first started using this, my skin was amazing, well back then my skin rarely broke out. Now my skin's more acne prone an I feel like it's doing nothing! Plus the smell isn't bad after a while, you won't notice it.

Pros:

Big bottle.

Cons:

Too big for travelling.
Bad smell.
Helps white heads, but infected pimple are worse. My skin looked greasy. It really only looks good after you wash it.

I didn't like it. I've tried everything for my mild acne. It really only helps moderate.
