Pretty Awesome.

Pros:

Gentle
Non-drying

Cons:

Have to use a lot to get full coverage

Awesome cleanser, and about as gentle as it gets. Doesn't over-dry skin, and gets the job done.

Pros:

Great Price
Gentle
helps with break outs
No Parabens
No Sls

Cons:

Does smell a bit
need to change between seasons (like blemish prone in summer, combo or dry for winter)

I used Spectro Jel September last year with the moisturizer, then after I finished about 5 months later, I decided to try different products... I BROKE OUT (I'm almost 40), even with Cetaphil. Needless to say I just bought Spectro Jel with a bonus Cream pack at Walmart (very very good price). I tired EVERYTHING from the very expensive name brands, to organic and Spectro Jel is always a return favourite.

Pros:

- helps to clear acne, works with other acne medication (birth control and or retin-A etc..), soft, gel type

Cons:

- does not exfoliate, (but you can get a good scrub to remove the dead skin cells)

For sensitive and or red prone skin, it works. I've had the best results with this cleanser, and anything else I've tried, I've always come back to spectro jel. To get results you have to use it twice a day, and be patient.Overall, it's highly recommended by dermatologist and is one of the best products out there for acne. Hope it helps!

Pros:

Non-irritating
Doesn't dry out face
Gets rid of some acne
Light

Cons:

Doesn't remove makeup very well

This is a pretty good product especially if you have dry or sensitive skin. Problem i have with this one is that it doesn't remove make like foundation at all. If you use make I'd say use a good but gentle make up remover first or use toner afterwards.

Pros:

(purple bottle- Sensitive& problem prone skin)The product comes in a big bottle, its gentle on skin, does not try it out, it's affordable, and it has not caused me to break out where as other washes have.

Cons:

I don't think it has really cleared up my skin much.. although it hasn't made me break out either. I think i just need the one for oily skin because my face still gets oily during the day after using the wash.

I would recommend this product because it is a good cleaner and it is quality and quantity. Although it hasnt cleared up my skin as much, it has worked for others... so go for it!

Pros:

-It seems to be the best product on the market that does not require a prescription
-It is affordable
-It is available at almost every drug store in Canada

Cons:

None

I am in Calgary, AB Canada, probably one of the driest places on earth! My skin was pretty destroyed in my youth with scarring and inflammation of acne. Nothing worked -- I tried Tetracyclene, Minocyclene <sp?>, herbal treatments, Accutane... nothing worked. As I get older (24 now), I am not sure weather it is my aging skin, my hormones calming down, or what, but this cleanser seems to do really well! It doesn't dry out my skin like others do. Hands down this is my favourite facial cleanser thus far!!

Pros:

Works amazingly well

Cons:

A little elbow grease required-30 seconds to be exact. But hey, elbow grease is better than facial grease, right? LOL

I've used this product to treat my acne-prone, sensitive, combination skin for many years. Every now and then I am tempted to try some other (usually more expensive and glamourous product) and every time I end up running back to Spectrojel when my face breaks out. I'm done with fad products- I'm sticking to what works. Used with a BP cream and a gentle, oil free moisturizer my skin stays clear and problem free. I also mix it with baking soda to exfoliate twice a week.

Best Cleanser Yet
I have been using this cleanser for about a week now and I have to say it is my favourite cleanser yet. Before using this I was using the exposed skin care system and it really did a number on my skin. I won't ever use it again. The spectro gel for blemish prone skin fragrance free one is so gentle on my skin and is moisturizing which I am in need with the winter weather and just being put on accutane. I believe it will continue to help my skin so I would recommend it to people with acne prone skin and sensitive skin:)
