Pros:

clears skin! makes skin soft. Doesn't dry out your skin

Cons:

Can't think of any..well the smell could be better.

I've been using Spectro Jel ( purple bottle) For only three days and my skin is SOO much better! I really think this product may actually be a keeper! Its the only thing that Ive ever used that has been this effective. I LOVE IT! and I absolutely recommend it to anyone, my skin was never to bad to beggin with but it sure wasnt good. If youre thinking about getting Spectro I say go for it! you'll love it

Pros:

Very gentle
it leaves skin very smooth and nice feeling

Cons:

the smell is kind of funny at first but you get used to it so fast it smells like nothing later on

okay so i had mild to moderate acne for at least 3 years and things were getting worse and worse since my pimples were growing faster than my red spots were fading but ever since i started using a cleanser like Spectrojel i only get 1 pimple every 2 weeks and the pimples that i get now are so small that it doesn't even matter anymore it looks like clear skin almost

Pros:

Big bottle, feels excellent on skin, does not foam, gentle

Cons:

Not sure how much it helps acne or pimples

I've just started using spectro jel products. I'm using the cleanser, 2.5% BP, and the moisturizer. So far so good. I'm pleased with these products so far.

Pros:

(purple bottle- Sensitive& problem prone skin)The product comes in a big bottle, its gentle on skin, does not try it out, it's affordable, and it has not caused me to break out where as other washes have.

Cons:

I don't think it has really cleared up my skin much.. although it hasn't made me break out either. I think i just need the one for oily skin because my face still gets oily during the day after using the wash.

I would recommend this product because it is a good cleaner and it is quality and quantity. Although it hasnt cleared up my skin as much, it has worked for others... so go for it!

Pros:

Gentle, doen't dry your skin at all
GREAT for sensitive skin
I used the purple labelled one..plus you get a HUGE bottle that lasts for a very long time

Cons:

Didn't really improve my acne substantially, worked a little bit I guess...
Doesn't take off your makeup, especially if you wear a lot of concealer
Doesn't feel like it cleaned deep in my pores, removed oil but didn't leave my face feeling fres

Comparitively speaking, this is one of the better products out there. It has mostly good ingredients, and is very gentle and moisturizing. Give it a try, especially if you haven't found something that works yet... **PS after I stopped using this brand I started breaking out ?? I don't know if that is jsut hormones or chance or maybe it's from stopping using Spectro..I'm thinking of switching back if it doesn't improve soon.

Pros:

Economical:You can find it on sale under $10 at least a few times a year
Paraben-free
Can be used all over body

Cons:

Does not lather up (personal preference)
Does not remove all traces of makeup
No fragrance

I've been using this product for 5+ years and cannot find a better, more inexpensive alternative to this gel cleanser. I keep a bottle in the shower and another on the bathroom counter.

Pros:

-cleans pores DEEP down
-it doesn't burn your eyes if you get it in them by accident
-CONSISTENT

Cons:

-NONE

Once your acne is all gone using an acne cream such as bezoil peroxide on top of using spectro jel, your skin will stay clear forever if you use the spectrojel consistently. If you buy it at Costco, you can get HUGE bottles of it for the same price as at Shoppers.

Pros:

Gentle enough, for an acne cleanser.
Makes my skin softer, and feel cleaner longer.

Cons:

Smells interesting for the first 5 seconds, then fades, leave NO smell on the skin.

I've only been using this product for 1 week, so i'm not sure about the results yet. Seems to have helped heal some old breakouts. Cheap and affevtive though, specially at taking off make-up, well worth at least trying.

Pros:

a HUGE bottle well worth the price and extremely gentle to use on your skin.

Cons:

doesn't lather so it makes you feel like it might not be working.

i used the one for oily skin and it worked very well. i found that it took a little while to start clearing up my skin but it made my skin feel soft and rejuvenated after each wash. i didn't find it to be drying. if you are switching in between products try a milder variation of this brand. it is well worth the try.

Pros:

I've used the combination skin Spectro Gel for about a year now and It's great. I never really had bad acne, but the occasional zit. It makes my face more clear and feel clean.

Cons:

It has a weird smell to it and the consistancy is slimey. However, it's worth it. Besides fragrance free is best your face anyways. Finally a gimmic free fash wash that works.

You get a lot of the product (half litre), considering the cost. It doesn't lather up, but it's good not to have all those bad chemicals all over your face. I wear make up, and there is usually left over mascara, but I just wash my face twice if I'm wearing extra make up and it takes it off. Still not a downside though. I should be using eye make up remover anyways.
