Pros:

it gets rid of my pimples as far as i know.

Cons:

if i have a really big pimple on my face and i aply a generous amount to it doesn't seem to get rid of the. dries your skin

clears your skin up but if you have a really big pimple on your face don't squeeze cause it just makes it look really yucky. but love this product because i never really had that bad of skin but now its close to perfection except for 1 or 2 pimples and a few scars but thats my fault i squeeze and poke with needles. BUY THIS PRODUCT IT ROX

Pros:

Everything!

Cons:

A tad drying

Obviously everybodys skin is different so I'm not going to pretend that BENZAC is going to eliminate the global issue of acne altogether - but I'm pretty certain it's effective for the majority of people, defintely worth a try. Speaking personally, I haven't had a walk-in-the-park experience with acne. I've had it since year 3 (9 years old) and I'm now in grade 11 (17 years old) and still battling with it. Everybody says they've used "every single damn product!" , but when I say it, I really have used every single damn product! I found Benzac AC last year in December, I'd practically given up but I used it anyway. It took months but it cleared up my skin like nothing else. For the first time since I was 8 years old, I had beautiful clear skin. It was pretty inspiring. Result wasn't permanent, when I stopped using the product it came back, I'm now back on it again permanently, working like a charm. Good luck to others out there.

Pros:

Awesome stuff, i have used it for about a month and my acne is completely gone! I saw major improvement in only a week.

Cons:

The stuff really dries out your face, but if you apply it like Dan said (slowly and gently) its less irritating.

Works fast, yest drying skin is an issue other than that i highly reccomend this product.

Pros:

Reduced my acne considerably, easy to use

Cons:

needs to be used with RX cleansing cloths in order to be totally effective (I use Plexion cleansing cloths), cannot be worn during the day (skin cannot be exposed to sunlight wearing this product)

Excellent product - a staple in my daily regimen; best used in combination with an RX facial cleanser

Pros:

Great cleanser, that really made a difference to my skin! Cheap compared to Proactiv. The ONLY BP cleanser on the Australian market worth buying.

Cons:

Side effects of BP, which are easily controlled.

This is a great cleanser, and since I bought it last time they've changed the formulation, yay! The first time I bought Benzac AC it was a watery liquid with a few grains in it, now it's a creamy cleanser with no exfoliating grains in it, which makes it much more agreeable to the skin. Still, the 5% can be difficult to tolerate if you have sensitive skin so I've mixed it half and half with my Paula's Choice cleanser (a line I highly recommend too, BTW). The difference to my skin was almost immediate. Highly recommended.

!!!!
This product is the only product that's worked for me in soooo long and I've only been using it for a week, in just a few days my skin was a lot more smoother and matte which I love because I usually have oily skin, I think this product mainly heaps with pus filled pimple that surface not cysts, if your are going to use this product I would recommend you still apply moisturiser everyday and night then apply this just before you go to sleep (with clean hands!)

Benzac 5% Holy Grail
I got oily and sensitive skin. I'm using benzac 5% for my pimples in my forehead and backacne. Yes, it is true when you apply it on the forehead, it quite itchy, maybe trying to penetrate and kill the bacteria on the skin. For the Ist week, only few improvements, the sizes of my pimples are decreasing and not too swollen on my forehead.. I used it for a month for my backacne, it exfoliates or removes the dead skin. I didn't expect, my skin lightens no longer dark spots and acne. I believe continued use the product, you will see better results. I'm still using it till now especially if I have breakouts.

Pros:

Nice texture of cream, helped me begin to clear acne that i have had for about 9 years.

Cons:

Can cause over-dryness occasionally, but this is easily fixed.

I found that the texture of the cream wa snicer than others I have tried and it is effective in helping control my acne. It is also cheaper than all the other creams, and I can buy it in larger quantities.

Pros:

works very well but skin must be cold before applying and chilled once applied.

Cons:

very drying. Need to find a non oil based moisturiser, I found that Active Moist from Dermalogica is really good.

I had extremely severe acne for many years until I found a book called 'The Acne Cure' by Terry J. Dubrow. I picked up this book for like 2 dollars from a book sale on the off chance it could do anything to help..after 2 long stints on acutane without effect i was pretty much willing to try anything. I can't even stress how incredible this book is! It has a three step program which when done correctly makes it impossible for acne to survive...the steps breifly - 1) use a cleanser with the active ingredient Salicylic Acid (I use Dermalogica anti-bac skin wash) leave on skin for about 30 seconds before washing off. 2) apply glycolic acid (I use Eventone Glyco Peel) leave on approx 3-5 minutes. 3)This is the long step but the most important. Applied normally Benzac AC will dry up your acne but will not stop it from coming back. It needs cool temps to be able to dig deep into the pores, you must cool your face with ice before application then once applied cool further. READ TH
