Bare Escentuals : Bare Minerals

I like it now that I am clear. This did nothing for me whilst I was still breaking out. If you only have minor colour flaws then this looks fantastic and natural.

For a long time I just was accepting my fate of acne. One day in a outlet mall I passed the store so we stopped in. I ended up getting some and later that day I applied. After a couple days my acne was much better than its been in a while. Apparently quite a few different powders break me out because I have changed nothing else in my routine.

I brought a sample of this and I'm glad I only brought the sample and didn't waste a lot of money! I took all my makeup off so I had a clear base. I put it on and it looked horrible! I went completely orange and it didnt do anything for my spots, my whole face was orange but the redness of my spots still came through and it was patchy! It felt like I had put talc poweder on my face! No matter how much I put on it did nothing for me. Glad I only brought a Sample.

I started using this product when I first began doxycycline. At first my skin looked great with this product but after awhile it started to make me break out. I had huge cysts on my face and they took forever to go away! I would definitely test this product out first before making a full commitment.

I have used this since it came out about 10 years. I have never switched from it. It covers great. I found that liquid or creams don't stay in place or come off when covering pimples due to the liquid in the acne medication. I recommend getting a concealer brush to cover zits. I have their concealer product, it is probably better for covering spots but not necessary - you can use the foundation with the concealer brush. I recommend the mineral veil as well - especially if you have oily skin. I have noticed when I forget to use the mineral veil I have more oil throughout the day. If your skin care causes your skin to get dry you will have a harder time applying this - just moisturize you skin (but don't let the lotion set in a bit). At the very least I would buy this just as a concealer. Not sure how much I have spent on this - I got it as gifts, however I have only had to replace my foundation once so for me the foundation has lasted me 5 years each.

This stuff is absolutely amazing! It covers like nobodys buisness, it lasts forever, its waterproof, has sunscreen and it doesnt clog your pores because its all natural!! This is absolutely amazing and you HAVE TO TRY IT!! It looks like natural skin!!

This product is fantastic! It has helped to clear up my cosmetic-induced acne, and makes my skin look natural and radiant. I used to struggle with cakey-looking makeup, and I had a hard time finding makeup that wouldn't look orange on my light skin. This makeup has solved these problems for me. I have had cystic pimples in the past, and I can assure you that I have not gotten any cystic pimples from this makeup. I recommend this to anyone looking for more natural and youthful-looking makeup.

I like the finish, you think its powder but it is not drying at all. silky finish. I don't think this has made my light acne better, but it did not make it worse.

Amazing stuff! I have had acne for 17 years since I was about 13. This foundation looks natural. It covers up most of my red marks fairly well. Sometimes I use a light concealer if BareMinerals doesn't do the trick. But the best part is that I don't break out anymore. I hardly need to cover up anything anymore. I truly believe that this product is a Godsend! I haven't broken out since I started using it a few months ago. Soon enough, I might not even need it. My skin is VERY happy! Note: I use the matte formula, not the original.

i love this makeup, its perfect for my skin. It covers my post acne marks like theres no tomorrow. People always ask how i look so good without makeup but little do they know! TIP: onlyy apply makeup to areas where you need coverage, notttt all over! that is one huuuge mistake girls make these days, they apply all this makeup where they dont need it.
