Pros:

skin feels softer, smoother and clearer, skin becomes less oily

Cons:

stings when you apply it the first time. and may cause redness(depends on your skin) but the redness will disappear in a short while.

try this. it's very good. it has no known side effects, cheap, easy to get, although it might sting a lil, it's very good. it does no harm to your skin and only makes it better. it definitely clears up unwanted acne AND acne marks. I had pretty bad acne marks on my face and it killed my confidence a lot but when i started using baking soda, i notice clearer skin and less acne break outs in just 4 days! unbelievable because normally my products which i use would not work but this certainly did work. heck, it's proven! :)

Pros:

Gave my face a nice, soft texture. It instantly became smooth to touch

Cons:

Too harsh, broke me out severely

I tried this every night for 1 wk, and i used it as a mask, kept it on for 2/3 mins, till it dried and scrubed it off. I had a lovely texture but it made my acne inflammed & red!..I broke out on my chin for the first time in 24 yrs on earth.

Pros:

it makes you skin smooth as ever..and soft..makes ur complexion lighter.

Cons:

it tingles a little bit and dries quickly..and flakes wen its time to remove

wen you mix baking soda and water together..as a paste..about 3-4 times a week..it makes skin smooth and soft and turns your complexion lighter..wen it begins to flake and turn white..rinse wit warm water..

Pros:

it worked great on my skin, it even got rid of most of my blackheads!!!

Cons:

none for me :)

i heard that baking soda would help so i tried it out, within the first day of useing it, my skin looked healthier and i had a better complextion. It reduced my redness and the size of my pimples and my skin looked much better. The best thing is that it didnt even burn my skin or make it dry. i hope it continues to work for me. :)

Pros:

CHEAP, WORKS!

Cons:

BURNS! It burned like cfrazy the second time I used it ( I did it two days in a row) I will probably only do it 2-3 times a week but not on consecutive days.

It works pretty well for my under the skin bumps they are clearing up after the first time of use. I also wash with black soap after and use clean and clear spot treatment (which did NOT work by itself before using the baking soda). I never had problem skin so i think I am just getting a mild case of adult acne but all of it is uder the skin (those suckers are hard to get)! Anyway TRY IT! You have nothing to lose but acne...or a dollar or two.

Pros:

have literally only gotten TWO pimples (minor) since i started using baking soda a few weeks ago. normally, i get one new pimple every two days!

Cons:

takes an hour for the redness to fade after i use it, but i've got really sensitive, fair skin :/

try it. you won't regret it. even though it hasn't completely gotten rid of everything (yet) it's obviously helping WAY more than any prescribed meds or expensive cleansers i've used in the past. spot treat as soon as you see something forming and it will be eradicated before you know it. i'm obsessed!

Pros:

Inexpensive, simple, washed away all surface oils

Cons:

Not quite sure yet.

A colony of bumps have developped around my cheek and chin area for the past year- they're these tiny bumps right under the skin. They seem like blackheads but they never actually come out. They're so annoying! Nothing has ever gotten rid of them. I've tried using BS for a few days (I think today was my third) and results are somewhat nonexistant. I notice that I'm breaking out more though. I don't know if the baking soda is drawing out impurities to the surface or I'm getting a bad reaction to it because I do notice a bit more redness. I'm only 16 and I've had acne problems since I was about 11. I've tried almost everything! Maybe I'll post in a week or so- see if anything changes! Try it anyways!

Pros:

gets rid of all black heads, makes pores smaller!

Cons:

it stings and itches a little, but NO PAIN NO GAIN, AMIRITE?

make a paste out of baking soda and water. spread it all over your face. leave it on for like 30 mins. wash it off, and exfoliate while doing it. do this every night for a week. all your acne problems solved forever. i sweat by this and reccomend it to anyone.

Pros:

Affordable + it leaves my skin so smooth and bright!

Cons:

nothing

Today was the firs time i tried it and it works great! Right after i noticed that my skin was a lot clearer (not that i had any acne problems) but i have a lot of freckles on my cheekbones so sometimes it makes my face looks darker and older, but after using this it looks a little lighter! And my face feels so smooth! What i did was mix equal parts of water and baking soda (so it was a little runny) but i used a cotton ball to rub it on to my face gently and then rinsed with warm water. Washed all the oil off!
