Pros:

Cheap
Easily available

Cons:

A bit messy

Absolutely worth it! Even though my acne was not terrible, I was looking for something economical and homeopathic to use to improve the dry skin on my nose, and make my skin softer. Since I'm 38, I don't have pristine skin, but this makes me look younger, and my skin is so soft. I scrub morning and night with baking soda. About 3-4 times a week, I apply a baking soda mask and leave it until it dries then rinse with warm water. I always follow it with vinegar (just a bit on a cotton ball), and swab my face with it. Yes, its smelly, but it works. Then I slather on some face cream/lotion. It's worked wonders for me!!

Pros:

-Cheap!
-Has reduced oily skin
-Reduces redness
-Smooth Skin

Cons:

-Messy

I have been using harsh topicals on my skin for a while now and this seems to help better than any of them. I use it as a mask a few nights a week and also mix it with my gentle face wash. Scrub gently though. I absolutely love this stuffffff :) :)

Pros:

Seems to reduce redness

Cons:

Does not completely clear skin up for good
Messy

I gave it a go because it was a natural product. It does work but dont expect to get completely clear. Also its messy and unattractive so dont invite a hottie over whilst it is on your face lol

Pros:

Cheap
Easy to use

Cons:

Burning sensation
Red inflammations

I wouldn't recommend this to people who want to try it. It burns and doesn't leave much result.

Pros:

- Face felt smoother, even after FIRST use
- Starts working immediately
- Gave face a brighter glow
- Red/brown spots/temporary scars have faded considerably after ONE week!
- Dried up new pimples fast
- Skin is less oily

Cons:

- You have to be VERY careful to not be too rough
- Can be a tad messy (Because it doesn't come in a tube, you can't keep it in the shower, or get the box wet. And you need to keep a small bowl in your bathroom to make the mixture)

I just started this one week ago, and I cannot believe the difference! My acne is light (I mostly have little bumps on my forehead, and chin. And randomly get big painful pimples on my cheeks) I just had a flare up, and had one big zit, and two red spots from pimples the week before. I VERY gently scrub in circles for about a minute, rise off, then swipe Apple Cider Vinegar over my face and rinse it off with cold water. At night, I wash my face with a facial cleanser, dab baking soda paste on my blemishes, wait a minute, rise off with cold water, then go to bed. After one week, my red spots have faded dramatically, and my pimple dried up in two days, and it's on it's way to recovery! TRY IT!

Pros:

It is cheap, and if used properly, is effective without over-drying.

Cons:

None when used in moderation.

I wanted to switch to a milder, non-abrasive facial cleanser. Cetaphil was recommended to me, and it is great except that it doesn't take off makeup well at all. A friend suggested dashing a small bit of baking soda into my hand and mixing it with the cleanser. This works wonderfully! I don't scrub, and I don't leave this on as a mask. I just work the cleanser gently onto my face and neck for about 10-15 seconds and then rinse. I follow this up with a very light application of Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner. Since adding the baking soda and using this routine twice a day, my skin has cleared up beautifully and pretty much stayed that way. My face is also left with a smooth, soft texture, and is never dried out.

when I run out of meds
this works for me when I have a lot of breakouts. The yellow thing on my zit comes off easily which helps me a lot. it tightens my pores and makes my skin feels smoother. What I like more about this is when I run out of meds, I can get some of this just in our kitchen.

Pros:

Clears breakouts
Chemical free
Soothing

Cons:

Not a long term solution

I figured I had nothing to lose, so I would wash my face with baking soda at night before bed. It greatly improved my skin, however after a few weeks, it stopped having results. I still recommend it however, because it is cheap and gets results.

Pros:

-helped acne
-evened out the skin
-minimized pores
-helped back heads

Cons:

-a little redness
-drying
-need to use often to see results

i used baking soda everyday and saw incredible results! i wouldn't say that this got rid of my acne but i defiantly helped and made my skin smooth. It also minimized my pores. i would use this as a mask for 5-10 min, and sometimes take a toothbrush (not used obviously) and dip it into to paste and scrub on my acne because the bristles on the toothbrush helped exfoliate my skin and i think it worked better. it also make your skin e=very smooth and after i would apply a moisturizer.
