Cons:
Not a miracle cure, reduces, not prevents new breakouts. Can be drying.
3-4 times a week, I put 8-10 cheap aspirin pills + a few drops of water in a small cup when I get in the shower. Rinse/wash my face, use the dissolved aspirin as a really coarse scrub. If I have time, I leave it on while I finish my shower. Rinse and go. (make sure you rinse, well, you don't want to be wandering around all day with little white flakes stuck in your hair and on your skin.) Using it this way exfoliates the heck out of my skin, helping to prevent blockages and reduces the appearance of my blackheads.

Pros:
I have a huge pimple on my cheek that has a hearbeat....the aspirin made it smaller in 1 minute. no lie.
Cons:
it stung a bit...but so does everything else.
I am using aspro-clear....it is a soluble drinkable form of bayer aspirin. i think maybe you can only get it here. i have never seen it in the states. I dampened my face with a bit of water and put the tablet on top of each blemish. it fizzed right away and i just let it dry. but my huge mountain of a pimple that had it's own postal code has really gone down in less then a minute.

Pros:
It works!
Cons:
It's flaky and it makes me sneeze.
Since there is no "cure" yet, there are obviously no miracles, but this made SUCH a difference in my skin. I didn't notice any change right away - that took about a week and I really only do it twice a week, but my skin is very soft and clear right now and it hadn't been for several months. I feel like it may fade previous red acne spots as well. I had one of those deep, long-lasting zits for about two months and this finally got rid of it.

Pros:
Cheap, Quick, Easy to apply, Very effective
Cons:
None at all, could be too drying for sensitive skin.
This has worked really well for me. I now use it almost daily to keep my complection under control. I just crush up 6-8 dispersible aspirin tablets, mix a few drops of water at a time until I have a paste, then I spread it carefully over the problem areas (forehead, cheeks and chin) then I carefully and slowly rub it in. I allow it to dry for about 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water (don't scrub off). The main thing I've noticed is that any small bumps under the skin are greatly reduced or completely disappear, redness goes down, my skin is much less oily afterwards and my skin feels fresh and smooth. Even on active spots, the infalmmation and overall size is reduced until they quickly dry up and peel off. All in all this is the most effective method of acne treatment I've found and it's so cheap. I don't find it too overdrying, but it probably would be for people with really sensitive skin or people who use a lot of BP gel.

Pros:
Smooth, soft skin decreases size of cystic acne.
Cons:
breaking down the asprin pills
worth the results though
This is amazing and so cheap! I wish I had given it a try a year ago when my adult cystic acne began to surface; then I would not have some of the ice pick scars. In the begining I used it every day especialy on active acne and to my surprise it shrunk it in size healed it and left no scar! I would alternate the mask with water, honey or a gentle cleanser. Left it on for 15 min.I always moisturized my skin with jojoba oil afterwards. The asprin may dry your skin a bit and you don't want oil production to increase on your face so the jojoba oil(very little) would keep my face balanced. I saw improvements the very next day. GIve it a try. I have tried so many product out there and drastically chaned my eating habits but nothing is as consistant and provided positive results as the ASPRIN MASK.

Pros:
it works!!!
Cons:
a little messy
I read on [link removed] that it's important to use an alchol free toner and a moisturizer afterwords. That girl has great skin. She also recomends using a SOFT electric toothbrush...(similar to microdermabrasion) and IT WORKS SOOOO GOOD.

Pros:
works really well!!!
Cons:
none
thanks so much guys for your reviews - i tried this out and it shrunk my zits overnight. i mixed it with some pure aloe gel which made it a great consistency and didn't flake off. it wasn't a miracle cure or anything, but it did make a noticeable difference, and my skin feels a lot smoother.

My pores have NEVER been smaller!
Since the original aspirin mask dried out my skin a bit too much, I crushed up 3 aspirin with about a tablespoon of honey (a natural humectant) and VIOLA! PERFECT SKIN. I have tried EVERYTHING. To think that a two dollar bottle of aspirin and a honey bear were all I needed!
