Pros:

works, affordable and smells nice.

Cons:

none.

unfortunately, my spots were becoming really bad especially around my fod and above my mouth so i bought this clear skin package, that did work but not as well as i thought after awhile. a friend recommended sudocreme to me so i searched on the internet about it and it seemed like a good idea so i used it and i really do think it's amazing for spots especially if they are spots that hurt. :o( it also helped my dry skin in certain places, it's a fab cream and i love it! don't think i can live without it now... I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. TRY IT OUT.

good for red marks, bumps and inflamed skin but doesnt prevent future spots so not long term
I started using this two weeks ago. Immediately noticed a positive effect. I have hormone (PCOS) related acne with about 10-15 medium spots on my face, often clustered together in a couple of areas along with a lot of red marks from fading previous spots (Hyperpigmentation) I apply this in the affected areas about once or twice a day and rub in as much as i can to take the white sheen off. I found that it is great for: - helping a generally inflamed patch of skin calm down -healing spots *once they come to a head* like making the bump turn flat - fading hyperpigmentation - it doesnt dry out my skin like salicylic acid would HOWEVER it does nothing to prevent spots actually coming as far as I can see. I am still getting about 1 new spot each day as I was before, which means I feel like I'm just piling more and more and more on each day. It helps heal but not prevent. Im now looking into more herbal remedies to help in the long run as after this i feel like ive pretty much tried every product for my skin....

Try Vitex (chasteberry) it should help with the acne and PCOS. It takes a while to work, but it really works.

Pros:

Soft Skins
Clears up red marks and Spots
A little goes a long way

Cons:

Hard to spread
Ghostly looking after application

Bottom line, this is absolutely fab for spots. since being on the contraceptive pill, I found my self at 20 being riddled with spots. Actually saw this advertised by Chloe Simms on The only way is Essex. She said it was great for her skin. I thought I'd give it a try and I went out and bought it the next day. I have only been using it for five days. FIVE DAYS! and already my skin is soft and the tough red marks from old spots have cleared up. I still have tiny red marks but I can assume they will be gone after another week of applying this. I haven't had any spots re accruing and would recommend this to any one with tough non budging spots! (I also had eczema like dry skin on my eye lid, which has now cleared up thanks to Sudocrem. ) It was £2.15 in sterling from Tesco. 125g pot.

Pros:

Cheap
Little pot goes a long way
Clears up redness quickly
Reduces swelling & sore skin

Cons:

Not a cure
Using it too much will trap moisture

I'm 35 and have suffered with acne since I was 19. I've tried pretty much everything there is to try and this stuff has been great for getting my acne to a manageable stage where I can treat individual spots as opposed to the acne mass that I have had to deal with along my jaw line since I came off Dianette 5 years ago. Acne is a misery and my heart goes out to all of you. Baking soda, Manuka Honey & Aspirin are all good too. No cures yet though!

Excellent for bringing out all the gunk in pimples
I use this stuff on my spots to bring out the pus without picking at them myself and causing more damage to my skin. Use a thick dollop of sudocrem on an inflamed / pus-filled spot and leave it for a couple of hours. Then wipe away and squeeze the spot ever so gently. It should easily ooze out, immediately clean off and sanitize the area

great for redness, but dries skin

Pros:

beats redness
quantity
nice smell

Cons:

dries out skin
leaves skin flaky

I was told this really helps a lot with acne wounds, but because mine tended to scab, it wasn't suitable to use because this really dries out the skin. But, it is very effective in lightening the skin once the wound is gone and it has left only redness on the face. As soon as I noticed that, I tried using it on a reddish area and it cleared up during the night, no more redness!

Really does work
I have been using sudocrem for a very long while even when my spots are extremely minor. I lost my pot of sudocrem and my spots got really bad. I tried everything and have been prescribed everything from the doctors. I then found my sudocrem and with consistent use during both the day and the night my spots went within 4 days. However I only think this is effective if no makeup is applied during this period.

Pros:

Dries out spots a treat, without drying out the skin, inexpensive, readily available

Cons:

leaves white marks, so don't apply too much if you are going out!

I've had acne for over 20 years, and have tried all manner of treatments, but I have to conclude I wish i'd discovered this stuff way back then! I started using it last monday...i had several big cystic spots, and about a dozen smaller pimples. I used it overnight initially, and when i awoke next morning, the large spots looked noticeably smaller, and the redness had subsided...i continued to use it morning and night for a further week, and guess what? My spots have almost disappeared, my skin feels softer and even my large open pores seem smaller. I'm going to continue using it for the forseeable future, and going to cross my fingers that it continues to work its magic! I urge you to give it a try...go on, you have nothing to lose, i'm over the moon with the results, and i hope it works for you too!

Pros:

It really works and the tubs lasts for ages and can be used for a variety of ailments!!

Cons:

Smells a bit antiseptic-y...but who cares with these results!!

My family have always sworn by sudocrem...my grandmother was the one who suggested it for nappy rash when my brother and i were just bubbas. We use it for everything now...cuts, sores, sunburn...and SPOTS!! I also have allergic reactions to most other creams when applied to open cuts...sudocrem is the ONLY one so far which my body accepts. I LOVE IT!!!! It is nice and thick so if you apply a layer at night time to a spot etc then it's good as it stays in place. Then when you wake up just gently wash your face. I read somewhere that continual use can lead to pigmentation damage...because of this i would only use for desperate out breaks and really bad spots/cysts. I think this just means not to layer it on every day for years or anything though :-) I hope it works for you all too! I even used it on my horse last year when he got a terrible skin condition...the vet gave us £100 of meds that didnt work..sudocrem cleared it up in 2 days. 2 DAYS!!
