Sudo Cream
This cream is good if you have just popped a spot or one is bleeding. It is not so good on whiteheads. Don't use it on blackheads because it clogs the pores up even more. Overall a good product makes you look as white as a ghost.

Pros:

Reduces spot size and redness quickly, very affordable and works better than the so called specialist spot products

Cons:

Causes pale dry looking skin and if overused breakouts or irritated skin

If you want to reduce redness and size quickly this works better than anything else i have tried on the market. However would definitely work better as a combination treatment with spot tablets, face wash, oils etc etc.

Pros:

Reduced redness of spots significantly
Did not sting
Was fast

Cons:

Better for individual spots rather than acne as a whole, doesn't help blackheads, messy and cannot be worn during the day.

It's good, but only for reducing the redness of one new spot. It did not get rid the spot or anything else - but made it less noticeable.

Pros:

- Works quickly
- Calms down acne red-ness
- reduces size of acne
- smooth skin after
- smells nice

Cons:

- Its ghost white thick paste that does get onto pillows ect.

It works. I have moderate acne and i started using this after everything else failed or made my acne worse. Sudocrem is cheap yet so effective. It targets redness over night, reduced the size of my acne and made my skin smooth. Im now 1 week into this and i can see a big diference already.

Pros:

- helps make sure popped pimples don't get infected
- reduces redness
- promotes healing
- IS REALLY GOOD FOR STOPPING PIMPLES THAT ARE JUST STARTING TO APPEAR FROM GETTING WORSE!!!

Cons:

None!

From reading some of the reviews here, it seems like some people are spreading this stuff all over their faces - I've never tried that and I just use it as a spot treatment. I'd say this is most effective when you have a raised red lump that you just know is going to turn into a disgusting whitehead. I dab it on the spot at night and usually in the morning the spot is gone or, at the very least, much smaller. It's also pretty good for putting onto popped pimples as it contains ingredients that help to stop infection and promote healing. I don't know if it's the best treatment out there, but for the price and the results, it's definitely worth a try!!!

Pros:

It disinfects the skin and gently fades scarring. Affordable. It is important that you only apply a small amount to the face, I suggest a half pea sized amount on the cheeks and forehead.

Cons:

Sometimes you can apply to much and be left with a sticky mess on your face.

I've used this product on and off for about a year and it does work when used as a combination treatment. At present I am taking 300mg of Trimethopim (Morning and night) and using Clean & Clear facial wash and Aderma moisturiser in the morning. On the evening I used Clean & Clear facial wash with a thin layer of Suedocrem (I mean THIN, like a small pea sized dot on both cheeks and forehead is enough) and then a layer of Nicam gel on the most affected areas - DO NOT APPLY ALL OVER THE FACE OR AFFECTED AREA BECAUSE YOU WILL REGRET IT! You may find you break out alot more in the first few weeks but this is because all the impurities in your skin are being drawn out and it won't matter what treatment you use if it is working you will break out intially in the first 2 weeks, if it progressively gets worse then obviously stop treatment but give it at least 6 weeks. Also if you have severe acne scarring then I suggest buying a Aderma Zinc cream which soothes and calms infected areas.

Pros:

Helps calm inflammed acne
Helps reduce redness
Reduces the size of pimples overnight

Cons:

very thick
can leave your clothes stained
only can really use at night

Brilliant for helping calm inflammed acne. It really helps if you have sore breakouts to bring down the inflammation. I find if i have bad cystic acne if you wash your face with neutrogena acne prone face wash, then dissolve sea salt in hot water, dip a cotton ball in this and apply painful acne. It help takes the soreness out ad cleans it. The after apply the sudocrem, it helps then calm it down.

Pros:

Cheap enough to use over large areas eg back, face etc, benign enough to use regularly (proven on babies bums!), effectiveness does not decay, no prescription

Cons:

Needs to be worn a face mask strength overnight for a few nights while spots are bad.

Definitely not placebo effect as suggested by some, although side benefit can be a well moisturised skin. I would recommend this product.

Pros:

Helps reduce redness
Dries spots out gently
Doesn't smell

Cons:

Very thick and difficult to wash off
Can't be worn in public (unless it's halloween)
Does not get rid of acne/inconsistent

It's not an acne cure, but it's cheap, comfortable to wear and improves your overall complexion. I would advise buying a gentle exfoliating facial wash as well - you have to make sure you remove all of it, otherwise it will be less effective after a few days (and you will have an odd, pale looking face).
