Pros:

* Reduces Scars
* Reduces Red Marks
* Cheap
* Doesn't aggrevate acne

Cons:

* Doesn't cure acne
* Thick and white
* Slightly drying

Although my acne was persistant, I wanted to find something that would help fade the scars between my spots. I paid a lot of money for Bio Oil which didn't work so I turned to sudacrem. It works like a dream for getting rid of scars and redness quickly. It's exactly what it says on the tin - healing cream. I wear it at night after moisturising and cleansing. It is bright white and thick so wearing it in the day makes me look like a santa impresonater (my acne is around my mouth and chin). Not great for wearing under makeup as it is thick and drying.

Does seem to work!
I am a 35 year old male and have suffered with acne since I was 15 years old. I recently bought a tub of this, and in 4 days it does seem to have made a difference. My nose used to have blackheads and open pores, the blackheads have gone in 4 days and the pores have closed. I had 5 large spots/zits on my chin which are not as red and have reduced in size. I had 2 spots that I could feel coming and put Sudocrem on them straight away, within a day they had 'died'. I therefore, think this works better when you put it on as soon as you feel the spot coming, rather than when it has already formed/visible. I noticed that when the spot had already formed the process of it getting a whitehead was 'speeded up', so rather than getting a big red lump and then getting a whitehead a couple of days later, when I put Sudocrem on the whitehead appeared the next morning which meant I could deal with it/go through the cycle quicker (if that makes senses!). Overall I am thus far impressed with Sudocrem, having tried Zineryt, Doxycycline, Benzoyl Peroxide (DUAC and 2.5% + 10% Benzoyl peroxide), 2% salicylic acid, along with a host of over the counter products.

Pros:

reduces redness
makes spots less noticeable
continued use dries up spot
not too thick if applied sparingly

Cons:

even when rubbed in well it's still white :)

I was referred to the hospital derm ward last January and have had 3 monthly check ups. Before being referred I spent two years going back and forward to the doctor trying numerous different concoctions of creams and pills, each time resulting in worse acne. By the time I was referred to the hospital the spots that were forming were now cyst's.. very large, very red, very sore. One cyst could easily take over my whole cheek Started off when I was 21, clear skin beforehand. Derm doctor put me on antibiotics and gave me Differen cream, although after a year of saying how this made me oily ( which she didn't believe ) I was changed to the gel which is much better but makes your skin really dry, irritated and flaky if over used. Gel makes a difference. ANYWAY .. next appointment is due next week and as usual I get an epic breakout " weeks before appointment. My boyfriend ever so kindly pointed out a beast of a spot forming on the side of my cheek and then slapped on some of HIS Sudocrem. Within an hour or two the redness reduced and two days later .... gone !! Since then I have done my daily routine ( The Body Shop Seaweed range religeously for the past 2 months then Differen Gel on affected areas ) then applied a dollop of Sudocream to each spot, leave half an hour then rub in until the cream is mostly gone. Voila !! It's a miracle, can't believe how well a £3 tub of baby bum cream has helped !! Sorry for the long winded comment, thought it easier to explain the whole story as it really reflects my progress. Good luck to all those affected by this nasty bugger, we'll come out fighting in the end !! :)

Pros:

Heals the spot quickly
Makes them go away but took a while for me
Made my skin soft
Helps with many ofther things
Good price
Last ages

Cons:

Messy
Smells a little horrible

I think that sudocrem is great for people that don`t have bad acne like me. Sudocrem easily dries up your spots. I applied Sudocrem by putting it all over my face avoiding mouth, nostrils and eyes. I put a towl over my pillow. When i woke up the spots appeared small & dry i was so shocked! I have been doing this once a week and my skin is nearly clear! Thanks sudocrem.

Should be renamed 'Wonder-crem'
I've suffered from serious acne since before I was even a teenager and have tried everything the doctor has ever given me from creams and pills to ointments and diet changes but nothing has ever worked. Im 21 now and over the past few months I've been putting a generous amount of sudacrem over my whole face and some way down my neck then sleeping on my back letting it soak into my skin and the difference is incredible. The sore looking red scars I had are a light pink now, the level of spots i get has decreased hugely and when I do get one I put a bit more sudacrem on that area and in the morning it's either gone or almost gone with minimal redness! I would recommend this to everyone and anyone who suffers from a few spots to fierce acne as it works wonders!

Pros:

- Dries up tiny pimples that haven't developed into a whitehead yet
- Calms spots that you've popped and are red and sore
- Easy to wash off

Cons:

- Sometimes hard to get the right amount out of the tube

This is a really cheap but effective product. It dries up small pimples that haven't fully developed yet, it calms really red and sore pimples and it helps prevent scarring when it is put on pimples that have been popped. Even if it is not the best product out there, for the price, it is very worthwhile.

Pros:

doesn't irritate skin.
blends old and new scars.
clears up each spot completely over night if not stops them from getting worse.

Cons:

can irritate skin when cleansing in the morning if left on over night.

sudocrem was the first thing i ever used when my acne started 4 years ago, the odd spot would come and go overnight with the help of sudocrem. after just a few months of using this i was spot free for at least 6 months. i then started to use marijuana which made my skin terrible, all the side effects like anxiety paranoia and sudden changes in body temprature really aggravated my skin to a point where i was in great pain both pshysically and emotionally. with help i put a stop to my dope habit, and sure enough my skin got slightly better over time. i started to seek help, i tried every acne related cream tablet oil lotion under the sun, although some would work really well it was only short term. i lost hope and my skin was bright red and blotchy and covered in spots as a side effect of all the harsh chemicals. it wasnt till a few weeks back i visited my mum and she reminded me of sudocrem. i stocked up, and have been using it whenever i am indoors, just a thin layer and slighty thicker in affected areas. its been a week or two now and my breakouts are getting further apart less severe and arent leaving any new scars. on top of that my orginal scars are almost completely faded and my skin is smooth. i reccomend this product directly after shaving also. thanks for reading my little essay if anyone does :) and i hope this product works for you !

Pros:

It really works!
cheap

Cons:

A bit drying
Hard to spread on skin

My main problem is really red skin, I have tried everything including lots of really expensive creams and things the doctor perscribed me and this works the best! It has reduced my redness so much and has prevented any new spots from forming. I apply quite a think layer at night. My skin is very oily anyway so the drying doesnt effect my skin too much.
