Pros:

Reduces redness of a spot and acne
Shrinks the spot
Cheap and easy to get

Cons:

Bright white so can only use when your in your house
From personal experience it can make the white of the spot come to the surface, but that might just be it healing the spot.

I DO recommend sudocrem. It reduces the size and redness of the spots. Easy to buy and cheap. But I do think if you have bad acne I would also go to your GP. They will give you proper treatment but will also say sudocrem is not bad for skin. All skin is different, but sudocrem works awesome on my moderate acne!! :)

Pros:

- Cheap.
- Effective at clearing early spots.
- Can act as an improvised concealer.
- Antiseptic and prevents infection of spots.

Cons:

- Does not clear blackheads.
- Not very effective against blemishes (in my experience).
- Wipes off onto bedsheets and pillows

Crude but simple and quite effective. A good all-round spot healing cream that's good for the skin and has numerous other applications too. Its thick white colour immediately helps reduce the appearance of redness. Can be dabbed onto individual spots are used as a mask to clear larger areas. Apply daily after cleaning your face.

Pros:

- helps make sure popped pimples don't get infected
- reduces redness
- promotes healing
- IS REALLY GOOD FOR STOPPING PIMPLES THAT ARE JUST STARTING TO APPEAR FROM GETTING WORSE!!!

Cons:

None!

From reading some of the reviews here, it seems like some people are spreading this stuff all over their faces - I've never tried that and I just use it as a spot treatment. I'd say this is most effective when you have a raised red lump that you just know is going to turn into a disgusting whitehead. I dab it on the spot at night and usually in the morning the spot is gone or, at the very least, much smaller. It's also pretty good for putting onto popped pimples as it contains ingredients that help to stop infection and promote healing. I don't know if it's the best treatment out there, but for the price and the results, it's definitely worth a try!!!

Pros:

leaves skin feeling very smooth
dries out pimples
gets rid of scabbed pimples or old acne marks
cheap

Cons:

can't be worn during the day
may cause more acne is not washed off correctly
very messy

Right so, i'm 20 years old and acne has literally been the bane of my life for 4 years now but the severity of my acne has only really come into play in the last year. I always had pimples and always relied on sudocrem to cure it until i got sick of having to lather my face in this cream so i went to my GP where she put me on tetralysil and duac... this worked for a while but my acne came back worse than ever and flared up when i got stressed over exams etc. I then went on minisol which didnt work and now im monotrim 300mg. I have literally tried every acne product and home remedy under the sun and no matter what the doctor or the derm says i always end up coming back to this cream. in the last couple of days ive noticed that my face had been evening out due to the antibiotic but the redness was still there. after about five nights of sudocrem the redness was gone and im nearly acne free having spent literally hundreds on acne treatments in the past.... SO BUY THIS

Pros:

- It's fun to put on
- It is an antiseptic so it prevented my break outs
- It worked for me for a couple of weeks and it made my skin clearer and less oily
- It's nice and cheap, so it wouldn't be much of a loss of money if it didn't work out for you

Cons:

- I found that it worked less and less over time, and I feel that it tends to contribute more than treat :( but i have oily teenage skin.. it may work for you!

Buy it just to try if it's for you, put it on every evening after removing make up or washing your face, rub it in well and let it sink in (try steaming your face to open your pores). But it may become less active over time because your skin might get used to it, or something along those lines. Hoped this helped! :)

Pros:

Reduces pain
Reduces redness
Speeds up the healing process
Great value for money
Smells good
Can be worn in the day as a barrier between skin and make-up if applied VERY thinly

Cons:

Not suitable for large areas - much more effective on singular spots or very small clusters of spots
The tendency is to smother the spot in cream however this could easily result in pore blockage due to the oily consistency of the cream

I am a 19 year old girl with light acne. When I do get spots they tend to be very painful and appear large. I discovered Sudocrem through a friends recommendation and have never looked back since. I use it in conjunction with Malin and Goetz acne treatment ([link removed] which is essentially just sulphur applied to the skin and left overnight. When I notice a spot emerging I use the Malin and Goetz for the first night and Sudocrem for nights thereafter. This method has never failed to get rid of the spot within 3 days - no matter how large! I have recently been under a lot of stress and this have affected my skin badly so to tackle the problem without altering my lifestyle drastically I have been put on a very intense facial treatment course which includes vigorous extractions and facial peels. I had my first treatment 5 days ago and am still bearing the effects of it. The treatment left my problem areas (cheeks, nose and chin) extremely red and sore. I was told I would experience peeling on these areas and immediately began applying a thin layer of Sudocrem every night. I bumped into the woman who did my extractions by coincidence yesterday and she said commented on how remarkably quickly I was recovering - I can only thank Sudocrem because usually my skin takes far longer than expected to heal.

Works on other skin problems like rashes or burns too!

Cons:

Won't work for black heads

It works well, but it's a mess since it sticks to my bed coverings. Can't be worn during the day because you'd look like a right (...).
