Pros:

Washes clean
Pleasant smell
Lathers well

Cons:

Drying
If kept in soap dish turns into mush

Gets the job done but it would be a lot more helpful if they made it in liquid form just because the bar can be a bit messy. Plus, I personally think the antibacterial component adds to acne prevention.

A gentle clean
So after a long bout of clear skin, I broke out pretty badly a few weeks ago. I was just using apricot scrub since I didn't need to worry so much about aggravating pimples. Due to the multiple lesions on my face, I searched through the product reviews to find something more gentle. Cetaphil seemed like the right way to go. I've been using this product for about 2 weeks now and my acne has cleared up a bit. This could also be because I resumed my spiro medication. Nonetheless, I like this stuff because my skin feels clean without feeling dry. It also seems to soothe my skin and make my acne look less red. This could be just wishful thinking, but here's hoping it continues to work! Skin type (because I think it's important background info when reading reviews): Oily, most breakouts located around the chin and lower jaw.

Pros:

Very gentle, makes your skin soft after one use, and kills a lot of bad bacteria on my skin, prevents break outs, great for blackheads.

Cons:

Dried out my nose, better for blackheads but still cleans skin.

I saw results after 3 days! Go ahead and try it out : )

Pros:

Soft, lathers well. Helps reduce white heads by a lot.

Cons:

If you keep in a travel case, it gets mushy after a while.

Really helped me! I coupled this with epiduo and my skin looks much better. This is the best soap I've tried.

Pros:

I have had moderate acne for the past 2 years which got out of hand when i came off my birth control (yaz) I broke out in horrible cysts around my jaw and was prescribed antibiotics with clyndamycin gel. The gel works great on acne already erupted but does nadda for prevention so i tried this bar out while, of all things, i was shopping around in the Philippines. The pharmacist on hand told me to really give it a try. I figured, eh whats 10$ to me, so i got it. I noticed immidiate improvement

Cons:

Can dry out your skin a little but if you use a moisturizer its all good.

Its the only thing that has ever given me immediate results, its 6 days after and the majority of my acne has cleared up.

Pros:

Inexpensive, cleans skin and clears oil.

Cons:

Retains a lot of moisture so it's hard to take places, even if you do have it in a soap container.

My dermatologist prescribed a cream, an antibiotic, and then told me to wash my face with this for a few months before I began Glycolic Chemical Peels. I stopped using the cream because it irritated my skin too much, and the antibiotic pill really messed up my stomach. But this cleanser is absolutely fantastic. I have mega-oily skin so I wash my face two to three times a day, and this definitely does the trick. I have noticed a relatively large improvement in the condition of my skin, and I've tried EVERYTHING (Proactiv, AcneFree, Clean and Clear, Clearasil, The list goes on...). I definitely think that this cleanser made a huge difference.

Pros:

makes skin less oily, clears acne for a few months

Cons:

dries out face, quits working after awhile

Used this for a few months, worked well in the beginning I was very happy but of course like everything else it quit working. After awhile it really started to dry my face out to the point that the skin around my eyes was flaking off.. not good! Anyway, if you want to get clear for a little bit go right ahead but it wont work longterm.
