Pros:

Skin feels very clean after cleansing. Seems gentle.

Cons:

Your skin may break out for the first week because all the nasty bacteria under the skin is surfacing.

Cleanse with it twice daily. Then spot treat with 2.5 % benzyl. At night put twice as much benzyl skin repairs itself through the night. I would also recommend using a facial brush with cetaphil cleanse because it helps brush away dead skin cells

It's just OK
Way too drying for the face, but it's OK for the body. Defiantly too irritating and drying for my face though:/

Pros:

-Skin feels clean after using.

Cons:

-Drying.

Contributed to my oily skin because of the drying effect- that lovely paradoxical thing that us folks with oily skin often get to deal with :/

ok
This is too intense for my rosacea, but works like a charm on the rest of my body.

Does a good job of cleansing without over-drying - no point in triclosan
I used this soap for about half a year. It does a good job of cleaning, although it's drying enough that you'll need to use a moisturizer if you use the soap regularly. I didn't notice any difference in the amount of acne I was getting, unfortunately. I was getting big, painful pustules on a regular basis, so I figured if I had an antibacterial agent in my cleanser, I could kill some of the bacteria that was accumulating on the surface of my skin. Eventually, I stopped using the soap because I was afraid of using triclosan long-term, and after switching to regular Dove soap, my breakouts neither increased nor decreased.

Pros:

Smells fine, and cleanses great.

Cons:

Irritated my skin a lot.

For the first few days, this cleansing bar seemed great! But then after about 4-5 days, my skin started to become very irritated while cleansing my face with this bar. My eyes became very puffy and red. I'm sure it is a great cleanser overall, perhaps I am just allergic to some ingredient in it...Triclosan??

Pros:

Smells nice
Bubbly

Cons:

Didn't work for me

I talked to my dermatologist about this because I used it on my chest and back acne, and she said it's best for people who are sweaty. Kills the bacteria from the sweat. I never used it on my face. I use the Cetaphil normal/oily skin face wash.

Pros:

Works well as a body soap

Cons:

Smells gross, doesn't rinse clean.

During my early days of the Regimen, I shopped around for awhile trying to settle on a bar or cleanser that really worked for me. I can safely say that this one doesn't. The smell is kind of terrible, like old-lady stale perfume or something, and the consistency of the soap is kind of chalky. I felt that it left a film behind on my skin. It didn't aggravate my existing acne, but it didn't do much good either. I ended up using the rest of the bar as a body soap in the shower, so it wasn't a total waste of money, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Pros:

made my skin smooth and non greasy and seemed like the bumps were not that visible on my legs

Cons:

it made my skin really sticky and i had to keep washing my hands after i applied my mosterizer

It made my skin really sticky but im going to continiue to try the product out and see if the stickiness is worth it... but for a bar of soap.. its too expensive
