Pros:

This is the BEST cleanser! For those using it for acne - acne is caused by bacteria, so why not use an antibacterial soap? Research has proven that a cheap bar of antibacterial soap kills acne BETTER than any other cleanser.

Cons:

Slightly drying, but anyone with acne should be using a moisturizer anyway

I bought this product for the acne and bumps on my back/shoulders, then started using it for my face - couldn't be happier! And no, your body does not become immune to the bacteria when using an antibacterial cleanser. Check out Dial & Cetaphil's websites among many research professionals to see for yourself.

Pros:

Easy, easy, easy. I love just washing and being done. Will probably add a moistureizer this winter tho'. Plus, no more ruining my towels with Klear Action. Non-irritating.

Cons:

Slightly drying. I have oily skin so that's okay at least in summer

I've been using this for a few weeks now and I love this bar. I love that I can use this on face and body, so simple and I feel clean and smooth. I had tried Neutrogena body scrubs-no help-just irritating and Klear Action for my face. Klear Action did help but was irritating and if I dared miss one wash-acne explosion. My face feels almost like normal now, like it doesn't require so much special attention. I do not smell anything unpleasant in use even tho' I am sensitive to smells.

Pros:

Works great, been using it for 2 months already and I love the results, reduces redness and some swelling. Leaves skin feeling smooth.

Cons:

Sometimes it drys your skin out, so use a moisturizer if it happens. Thats about it!

Great overall product, wouldn't use any other Purpose bar other then Cetaphil.

Pros:

reduces pimples, reduces redness, decreases the bacteria from the skin, makes the skin a whole hell of a lot smoother & softer.

Cons:

can be a teeny tiny bit drying, but other than that, it's perfect!

Use it twice a day, morning & night. It's very effective. I love it. If you don't see any results within a few days, give it a week. you have to be patient. your skin needs time to get used to the product.

Pros:

Smells fine, and cleanses great.

Cons:

Irritated my skin a lot.

For the first few days, this cleansing bar seemed great! But then after about 4-5 days, my skin started to become very irritated while cleansing my face with this bar. My eyes became very puffy and red. I'm sure it is a great cleanser overall, perhaps I am just allergic to some ingredient in it...Triclosan??

Noticeable Long-Term Improvement
This soap made a significant improvement to acne on my back/arms over a period of 3 months. However, when the soap is applied to my face, I get awful breakouts every time. This still gets 5 stars from me though, and I will continue to buy it until Triclosan is banned here too.

Pros:

Smells nice
Bubbly

Cons:

Didn't work for me

I talked to my dermatologist about this because I used it on my chest and back acne, and she said it's best for people who are sweaty. Kills the bacteria from the sweat. I never used it on my face. I use the Cetaphil normal/oily skin face wash.

Pros:

Clears acne, softer skin, keep skin clear, I love it!

Cons:

Only comes in a bar

I tried every expensive products out there you name it... from Proactiv to Dr. Wexler to Dr. Peter Thomas Roth... but nothing clear my acne like this very inexpensive Cetaphil soap. It is a skin saver for me... I've been using it for a few months now and I'm sold. I am saving so much money now from using this soap. I highly recommend... I even use it to bathe my 6 yr old daughter.
